Golden Retrievers

Many thanks to the committee for inviting me to judge Golden Retrievers at their well run and friendly open show. Thanks also to my very efficient ring steward and most especially to the exhibitors for allowing me the honour of judging their dogs .

1) Wright's Palton Pavarotti. Beautifully balanced dark gold young dog in gorgeous coat and condition. He has a good reach of neck, layback of shoulder and a deep chest. Short coupled with correct angulations front and rear. He has a level top line and tail set and really caught my eye as he flowed round the ring with reach and drive. BOB.

2) Fegan's Alibren Angelica. A young bitch with a feminine head and expression. She has an excellent reach of neck and layback of shoulder. Straight front and tight feet. Well balanced with good angulation. Moved well holding her top line.
