The Northern Pomeranian Club Open Show 02/09/2018

Firstly I would like to Thank The Northern Pomeranian Club for inviting me to judge the Open Show. Mrs Lynn Webster who (as always) made sure we were catered for and looked after us so well. To the rest of the committee Thank you for your hard work as you were “two men down”

My stewards Mr and Mrs Hull Greaves kept the ring in order all day. It was a real honour to judge the beautiful dogs who entered under me.

MPD 3 Abs 0

1 SOULSBY Mrs C M AIZENS DREAM OF BEING A STAR AT TRENARWYN (Imp)

     Black eight month old. He had a lovely head and eye with correct dentition and ear placement.

     High set tail moved freely and confidently. Stood four square very attentive to his handler. A

     good start to the day I was pleased to award him BPD and RBPIS

2 BAILEY Mrs A J CRAIGIVAR SAMUAL PEYPS Orange six month old puppy. This boy has

     a beautiful head small ears and compact body. It was his first time in the ring so was a little

     unsure but as he matures and his confidence grows will be one to watch

3 SLOUGH Mrs G SPECIAL EDITION OF PERSIMOONE (Imp Ukr)

1 SIMMONS Miss L G SUEACRES LEGEND OF PETITPOM Orange sable 11 month old

       with a pleasant head correct high set ears. Neat tight cat like feet. Coat of harsh texture. Moved

        well

JD 1 (0 Abs)

1 SIMMONS Miss L G LIREVA'S DREAM MAKER FOR PETITPOM 10 month old orange

      sable. Correct Dentition and ear set. High set tail and carried straight over his back. This young

      boy was not very settled on the move today.

Yearling Dog 2 (Abs 0)

1 COOMBS Mrs K OLIVER FOR JESSIEBETHS. Orange sable 18th months old. Lovely head

      and well set ears. The sweetest of expression straight high set tail. Short and compact he moved

      well. Carried himself with confidence. RBD.

2 CHINN Mrs & Miss J MIDAWN CHUBBY BROWN Light orange 20 months old. The darkest

       of pigment correct ear set. He moved well but I preferred the head of 1

2 CHARLTON Mrs P DARADE STYLE AND CLASS Orange 6 month old. This explains why

         he lacked confidence on the move, He had a decent coat but would have preferred a harsher

         texture

LD 3 (Abs 0)

1 CHINN Mrs & Miss J MIDAWN IN WITH A CHANCE Light Orange 4 years old.

         Favourable head with correct ear placement. Tight cat light feet darkest pigment very attentive

         to his handler. Moved well

2 NORMAN Mrs A ALEXIASDREAM IS FABIOSO Orange sable 20 month old. Lovely head

         Short coupled with a high set tail and plenty of plume. I preferred 1 on the move.

3 CHARLTON Mrs P LINKIES ACE OF SPADES AT KIZZLEPOM

OD 2 (Abs 1)

1 ODD Miss C M & Mrs M TRENARWYN CHARIOT OF FIRE. Black 3 years old with an

       excellent head and eye. Correct ear placement and high set tail with plenty of plume. Good coat

       texture. Moved freely and had plenty of ring presence. Made a lovely picture when stood and

       was always four square. A pleasure to award him RBIS.

MPB 4 (Abs 0)

1 SIMMONS Mrs C TINY JEWELS' DIAMOND CROWN OF PETITPOM. Dark orange sable

       8 month old. Foxy head and small ears well set. Moved well needs to mature to reach her full

       potential.

2 KNOTT Mrs J SNOWVILLA MAGIC MOONLIGHT. Orange 8 month old pleasing head

       small ears correct dentition. High set tail tight cat like feet. Moved well I preferred 1 today

       but could have changed places on another day.

3 CHARLTON Mrs P WEEPING WILLOW.

1 SMITH Ms S SUEACRES BETTIN ON EVIE Orange sable 11 months old Beautiful head with

        small ears and dark pigment. The highest of tail set with plenty of plume. Moved very well

        Very attentive to her handler. Stood four square at all times. Delighted to award her BPB and 

        BPIS

2 D'ARCY & DUFFIELD Mr & Mrs JACOBIAN HERA'S MOONLIGHT WITH PAAVALI

        Orange sable 9 month old. Pleasing head good ear placement. Correct dentition . Lacked

        coat today.

1 NORMAN Mrs A ZOLOTOY LEPESTOK OT ALIN NEZHNAYX ARAMNI AT

       ALEXIASDREAM ((Imp Rus) Cream 7 month old Very pleasing head and ear set. Compact and

       full of confidence. This little puppy was so full of presence and moved well.

2 COOMBS Mrs K ALSAN POMSHOLLYWOOD BOULEVARD FOR JESSIEBETHS.

       Orange sable bitch 12 months old. Beautiful head with darkest of pigment. With correct ear

       placement and excellent dentition. Moved well

Yearling Bitch 3 (Abs 0)

1 LANCASTER Mrs D CLANESTAR FIREBIRD. Orange 23 month old Lovely head with a

      sweet expression. Dainty fine boned moved well.

2 GREEN MRS M POMDELYS LEGALLY BLONDE WITH KLASSNA. 20 month old.

       Pleasant head and correct mouth well ribbed high tail set. A little unsettled on the move

       but did improve. I preferred the head of 1

3 BRIDGENS Ms P SPANAPOMS THE WAY YOU MOVE AT LAPCHIS

1 SMITH Ms S SUEACRES JUST A DREAM Orange sable 11 months old. Sweet head with

        lovely expression. Dark pigment and a darker mask Sister to BPIS Moved well short backed

        high tail set.

2 GREEN Mrs M TRAVILLION HELLO DOLLY Black 3 years old. Foxy head dark pigment

         She was overweight which spoilt her movement today

3 CHINN Mrs & Miss J MIDAWN TURN ON THE CHARM

LB 6 (Abs 5)

1 SLOUGH Mrs G Black 14 months old. Nice head with good ear set. Tight cat like feet

        compact. Again this bitch was a little overweight.

OB 1 (Abs 0)

1 JAMES D'ARCY DUFFIELD SHELKOVY NOS UNIQUE LAND SWOUT WOLF AT

      ANGELROCK. Cream Sable 4 year old. I liked this as soon as she entered the ring and wasn't

      disappointed when I went over her. Beautiful head smallest of ears. High set tail tight cat like

      feet. In full coat and well presented. Very attentive to her handler made a lovely picture when

      stood Pleased to give her BB and then BIS.

        Pleasing head with correct ear placement. Very compact moved well.

1 D'ARCY DUFFIELD CH PAAVALI'S QUEEN OF HEARTS. Red 3 years old. A beautiful

       head and smallest of ears. Stood really well and made a beautiful picture. Again this girl

       was beautifully presented. Moved well to and fro. RBB .

        very attentive to her handler. High set tail with plenty of plume

1 Thornton Mrs S CH CRADDARR MILITARY FANFARE Sh CM. Cream sable 8 years old

        This girl has a lovely head and ear set. Even at her age she adores showing and was full of

         presence and well ribbed plenty of body. Moved well and it was obvious this girl is young

         at heart. BVIS
