SPECIAL VETERAN DOG (1,0 Abs)

1st Wedge’s SIATHAM BRIGADIER OF RIVERSCHARM

Gorgeous 9 year old senior gentleman, still presents a very nice profile & carries his age well. Fabulous profuse cream coat, attractive masculine head with dark eye. Well-constructed forehand, good bone & feet, good turn of stifle & in great condition. Beautifully presented he moved happily & enthusiastically on an easy ground covering stride with excellent tail carriage BVD & BV

MINOR PUPPY DOG (2,0 Absent)

1st Golder’s  LAURENLEY VINCENT TAF NAF

Just 6 months & what a balanced outline this young man has, very promising. Shown in pale, wavy coat he has a gentle but masculine head with dark expressive eye & excellent pigment. Clean neck flowing into well placed shoulders & corresponding upper arm. Correct rear construction perfectly complimenting his front assembly & good topline. He covered the ground very well as I would have expected from his conformation & has lovely head carriage. More together today than No 2 in the class, which gave him the edge.

2nd Hennessy’s MESSANO GOODWILLHUNTING

Very smart & with plenty to like, this mid gold puppy of substance is a similar age to the class winner, another showing plenty of promise. He has a classic masculine head with dark pigment & I loved the sparkle in his eye! Good length of neck , excellent bone & feet, short couplings & he has balanced front & rear angulation with a strong  topline. Happy boy on the move.

PUPPY DOG (7,1 Abs)

1st O'Gorman’s BERRYMEADE GRAND CENTRAL

Loved everything about this 11 month old, mid gold, well balanced, typical youngster. Oozing breed type, he has a great outline, gorgeous chiselled head with broad skull & good muzzle depth enhanced by dark pigment. Good bone, straight forelegs with elbows well in & good depth of body already for a puppy. Excellent forehand & rear construction, with nothing overdone,  giving a great stride as he moved round the ring holding his firm, level topline. Head & tail carriage were in harmony & he was a joy to watch on the move. BPD & BP

2nd Golder’s LAURENLEY VINCENT

.

JUNIOR DOG (7,1 Abs)

1st Hennessy’s  MESSANO FINE 'N DANDY

Shown free standing & winning 2 of his classes, this eye-catching mid gold boy is another full of breed type with straight well -presented coat. Super, balanced head, attentive typical expression, clean neck into good layback of shoulder, correct front & good turn of stifle.Tail set & length are spot on. On the move everything flows & he covered the ground effortlessly making him stand out in this class.

2nd Wells PEARLBARN PERONI

Another mid gold boy with delightful well chiselled head & happy expression. Good depth to body short coupled, strong through the loin & rear quarters are strong with good breadth of thigh. Shown in very nice condition he was steady on the move but didn’t have the ground coverage of my winner.

3rd Webb’s MITCHNEL BEAR WITH ME BY HECTSON

YEARLING DOG (4,0 Abs)

1st Seamons MESSANO BLUE SUEDE SHOES JW

This more scopey young man is good on the move with plenty of drive from the rear which won him the class. Shown free standing & beautifully presented in profuse pale coat, he has a well shaped attractive head with a “will to please” expression & is very attentive to his handler. Love his dead level topline, which he held on the move & rear quarters with excellent turn of stifle & well let down hocks.

2nd Wells PEARLBARN PERONI

3rd Webb’s MITCHNEL BEAR WITH ME BY HECTSON

UNDERGRADUATE DOG (4,1 Abs)

1st Hennessy’s  MESSANO FINE 'N DANDY

2nd Mullett’s  POUNDMEADOW BRIEF ENCOUNTA

Rich gold boy with cream feathering which gives a beautiful contrast .Masculine head & gentle expression, good angles both front & rear & text book top line. Slightly longer cast in the loin & not the leg length  to body ratio of my winner, but his movement was accurate & he covered the ground well. Shown in superb coat & condition he has a great rapport with his handler who got really got the best out of him.

3rd Easterbrook’s WYNRITA HOT OFF THE PRESS

GRADUATE DOG (3,0 Abs)

1st Angell’s MILLANZA TOY STORY JW

You really can’t overlook this very attractive boy. So much to like it’s a pleasure to go over him, what you see is exactly what your hands confirm. Gorgeous head, melting expression & lovely shape. Well set on reachy neck into excellent shoulder placement & upper arm. Deep through the brisket, dead level topline, strong loin & great breath of thigh., Shown freestanding & four square every time I looked, his movement is accurate & true & presentation & handling were tip top.  He was a close contender for top spot, however he is still a young dog & hasn’t quite the body maturity of my BD but I really loved him. RBD

2nd Hennessy’s  MESSANO FINE 'N DANDY

3rd Mullett’s  POUNDMEADOW BRIEF ENCOUNTA

POSTGRADUATE DOG (7,1 Abs)

1st Foreman’s CAMESTONE FIELD DAY AT AMBERSUN

Such a fabulous head on this lovely boy, whom I have done well before, well chiselled & with an incredibly appealing expression. Excellent front & rear angulation, short couplings & great depth of body. Tail is well set on & carried correctly. Another with good breadth of thigh & shown in great well-muscled condition giving accurate, effortless movement.

2nd Easterbrook’s WYNRITA CATCH A DREAM

Shown in lovely coat & condition, this rich gold short coupled boy has a kind expression & masculine head with good pigment. Good bone, straight forelegs, deep through heart, level topline, excellent tailset & tail length. Moved steadily but not quite the rear angulation or muscle tone of my winner meaning slightly less drive from the rear.

3rd Fanning’s CATNNELS INSIDE STORY FOR BRENSHAM

LIMIT DOG (3,2 Abs)

1st Ewings  TEALCREEK TED CORRIGAN AT BRYANSTOWN

Another rich gold boy in lovely coat who is very much at one with his handler. Excellent pigment & kind expression, short couplings & deep through the body. Good rear angulation but I would prefer more layback of shoulder & better upper arm to balance the picture. Movement was steady & very accurate when viewed from the rear.

OPEN DOG (7,2 Abs)

1st Loverock & Waldron-Smith’s LOVISSA SPACE DUST ShCM

This handsome dog is in his prime now & today was his day. I’ve loved him from a puppy & what a cracker he has become. Masculine head with gentle expression but still that mischieveous twinkle in his eye. Well set on neck & excellent forehand construction with straight forelegs & good feet. Plenty of depth to his body, short couplings, firm over the loin & table top top-line. Rear quarters are well angulated, have great breadth of thigh, excellent hocks & compliment the front assembly. On the move his hard condition comes into its own, he has great reach & drive holding that topline & with proud head carriage. He never put a foot wrong all day & his tip top presentation & handling made the best of a cracking dog. An absolute pleasure to award him BD & BIS

2nd Wedge’s RIVERSCHARM MR MCGREGOR JW

Lovely, very typical mid gold boy with a super head & gentle expression. Excellent front & rear assembly, totally in harmony. Deep though ribs, short coupled & stands on excellent feet. With his rich gold coat & cream contrasting feathering he was beautifully presented, very well handled & he was a close contender for RBD, the younger dog just had the edge on movement on the day.

3rd Dean’s AYMSBURY ANGUS WITH RUGGLESTONE

   .

SPECIAL VETERAN BITCH (2,0 Abs)

1st Loverock’s  PUTJADE PINK DIAMONDS FOR LOVISSA JW

Another 9 year old veteran carrying her age well. Pale bitch with good substance shown in well-presented coat. She is very balanced with clean neck & good shoulder placement, dead level topline into correct tailset. She has plenty of strength in her correctly angulated rear quarters giving a good driving movement. So close up to my VD winner but just pipped by his wonderful furnishings BVB

2nd Ewings KAILZIE UNA AT BRYANSTOWN

     .

MINOR PUPPY BITCH (3,0 Abs)

1st Ward’s LAURENLEY STARRY NIGHT

Sweet puppy with an elegant, balanced outline, just right for her age. She has a very pretty, feminine head & dark eye. Reachy neck into good front assembly, straight forelegs, level topline & rear angles totally complimenting her front. She moved very happily round the ring using her tail well. I see she is litter sister to my MPD winner, two lovely specimens with a bright future ahead of them both I’m sure.

2nd Simms MESSANO REMEMBER ME FOR STVINCENT

Another lovely baby with a sweet head & expression showing plenty of promise. Good front assembly, very good bone & neat feet, well presented in mid gold coat. As puppies can be, she is slightly high on the back end at the moment, once the front has caught up she will have a super profile & I will follow her progress with interest.

3rd Weeks BLUEBRAES MATCH DOT CO

.

PUPPY BITCH (6,1 Abs)

1st Clarkson’s DRUMKILTY LISDOONVARNA

This pale young lady took my eye the moment I saw her, one who really “filled the eye”. She had to be good to win a class full of quality & she was. From nose to tail everything is in harmony, excellent shoulder placement & upper arm, level topline, deep through the heart for a youngster & excellent turn of stifle. Presented to perfection & handled sympathetically her movement was accurate both coming & going & in all 4 classes she topped, that movement was repeated with enthusiasm time after time. Liked her very much RBB,BPB & RBPIS

2nd O'Gorman’s TERRA DI SIENA ARE YOU WITH ME BERRYMEADE (IMP ESP)

Another quality youngster in beautiful coat & from the top drawer unlucky to meet my winner in such sparkling animated form on the move. She is a more substantial, beautifully balanced young lady. I love her head & expression, straight forelegs & good bone. Super body properties with plenty of heartroom & short couplings. Good return of stifle & neat hocks. Her conformation is in total symmetry which shows in her ground covering accurate movement.

3rd Foreman’s WYNRITA HOT TO TROT TO AMBERSUN

JUNIOR BITCH (12,8 Abs)

1st Clarkson’s DRUMKILTY LISDOONVARNA

2nd Loverock’s THORNYWAIT MAMMA MIA

At just over 12 months she is another very pretty girl with substance, nicely presented & in full mid gold coat. Loved her feminine head with dark eye. Great front assembly & corresponding rear quarters into neat hocks. Strong dead level topline, short coupled & with good tailset. She too covered the ground well but not quite with the ease of my winner today.

3rd Foreman’s PUTJADE PURLEHEART FOR AMBERSUN

YEARLING BITCH (11, 4 Abs)

1st Seamons  STVINCENT MOONLIGHTING AT MESSANO JW

Looking back, I see this young lady & my 2nd place met before under me 12 months ago. I knew at the time they could easily change places & today they did. Both teeming with quality, today my winner was in full beautifully presented coat & just had the edge on ring presence & enthusiasm of movement. She certainly enjoys her showing!. Sweet head, good layback of shoulder, level topline & good body depth. Front & rear angles are excellent & in harmony & she is in good muscular condition. The icing on the cake was her gold coat gleaming in the sunshine & that ever wagging tail. She is exhuberant on the move but it’s easy to spot good reach & drive when she settles.

2nd Youngson’s  LINIRGOR TEACHERS PET AT TREEVEVILLE JW

A really super youngster whom I love & who was unlucky to meet my winner at the top of her game today. Shown in pale straight coat, she is ultra feminine with the loveliest of heads & excellent pigment. Good angulation front & rear & the best of toplines which she holds on the move. She was presented to perfection & moved very well. I would have loved 2 red cards today but she had to settle for 2nd in fabulous company.

3rd Leonard’s WYNRITA SECRET MAGIC JW

.

UNDERGRADUATE BITCH (8,4 Abs)

1st Clarkson’s DRUMKILTY LISDOONVARNA

2nd Tuck’s TAMSBROOK TOUCH OF CLASS

Another very feminine lady in full pale coat & super condition. A neatly made bitch, she has a lovely head with a very gentle expression, reachy neck into good shoulders, good depth to her chest & excellent breadth of thigh into neat hocks. Quietly & sympathetically handled she moved well & accurately.

3rd Beeson’s ESINED TITANIA

    .

GRADUATE BITCH (7,6 Abs)

1st Clarkson’s DRUMKILTY LISDOONVARNA

2nd Mandley’s MILLANZA FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS TO MALTQUDOS

Well made pale bitch with a good head shape, excellent front assembly, dead level topline, close fitting elbows & strong rear quarters. She has good leg length but I would like slightly more bend of stifle to perfectly balance her super front angles. Good tailset & tail is text book length. She looks good on the move, both coming & going away but couldn’t match the ground covering stride of my winner.

.

POST GRADUATE BITCH (4,0 Abs)

1st Loverock’s  RIERA EMPRESS OF LOVISSA (IMP RUS)

Mature pale bitch of quality & substance presenting a balanced picture. Dense pale coat, lovely head, good eye shape, excellent forehand, body depth & spring of rib. Strong over the loin. She is a very enthusiastic & accurate mover which won her the class, well handled & very well presented.

2nd Bennett’s  NATIVEGOLD PRINCESS DOVE

Such a sweet, compact bitch. Shown in very pretty mid gold coat, I love her expression & head carriage. Both front & rear angulation are in harmony & she had plenty of heart room. On the move she holds her level topline & she covered the ring well.

3rd Mullett’s  POUNDMEADOW STAR O'FANTASY

LIMIT BITCH (5,1 Abs)

1st Golder’s  SUMMERAMBA MILADY JW

I have loved this bitch since I first judged her as a raw 6 month old puppy. She really has fulfilled all that early potential & has developed into a beautiful young lady with breed type in abundance. Lovely head shape & expression, perfect length of neck into excellent layback of shoulder, her length of upper arm places her legs well under her body & body depth is spot on. She has plenty of strength over the loin, is short coupled & rear quarters have strength & are well muscled with good 2nd thighs & correct tail set. On the move she is a delight, covering the ring with reach & drive & did well to keep going at the end of an extremely hot day. Presentation of her mid gold coat with pale feathering was perfect & her handler really gets the best out of her. If I’d had room in my car I could have happily taken this little lady & my BIS winner home!  BB, BOS & RBIS

2nd Hudson’s AYMSBURY ASHISHA JW

I just adore the character of this lovely showy mid gold bitch! She clearly is totally at one with her handler which shows as she free stands, four square, giving her total attention always. She has a sweet head & expression, great use of her ears. Her reachy neck flows into excellent shoulder layback & her legs are placed well under her body. She has a level topline & well angulated rear quarters, good length of tail well set on. Presented & handled to perfection she moved very well & was a worthy 2nd to my RBIS winner.

3rd Beswick’s  STVINCENT SPANISH GYPSEY

OPEN BITCH (9,3 Abs)

1st Seamons MESSANO DOUBLE OR QUITS JW

Another lovely dog from this kennel. Mature pale bitch with such an attractive profile, pretty head & nicely shaped dark eye . Well set on neck to super shoulders, straight forelegs, deep through brisket, level, firm topline into good tailset She has good bone without being overdone & tight feet. A very positive & powerful mover her handler made good use of the ring.

2nd Wilson’s PEARLBARN PINK GIN

So close up to my winner. Very attractive, well -presented pale coat on this pretty feminine bitch. Love her head carriage, shape & gentle expression. Well laid back shoulders, good upper arm, super depth of chest & good straight front legs. Front assembly compliments her rear quarters with good bend of stifle & neat hocks. Just preferred the firmer topline held on the move by my winner but I really was splitting hairs & they could have easily changed places. Her movement was sound & true, liked her a lot.
