Thank you to the committee for inviting me and to the exhibitors for being such good sports and taking all my decisions in such a well mannered way. I thoroughly enjoyed the entry with some lovely dogs and some difficult decisions to make. 


Dogs 


Minor Puppy 1)1.  


1) Nash’s Kelseva All or Nothing Tan and white 7 month. Lovely baby who showed true merry beagle personality. He stood well and on the move showied beautiful movement when he concentrated. Lovely head with slight dome of good length, nicely set ears. Good reach of neck and well laid shoulders, good balance throughout and ratios. Rear balanced front angles giving the movement. BPD


Puppy 0


Junior. 2)2. 


Ridge’s Devonrosesky Lemon Drizzle. Mature Tan and white, good length of head with good stop and correct ratios, well set ears, good reach of neck leading into well laid shoulders and on sturdy legs. Well ribbed and nicely sprung. Balanced throughout and rear well muscled balancing front when settled moved out well with drive. Pushed hard all day to take BD BOS

Taylor’s Deaconfield Kingcraft. Another nice youngster nicely balanced Tri comments of one apply just lacked the maturity of 1 today. 


Novice 2)



Ridge’s Devonrosesky Lemon Drizzle. Mature Tan and white, good length of head with good stop and correct ratios, well set ears, good reach of neck leading into well laid shoulders and on sturdy legs. Well ribbed and nicely sprung. Balanced throughout and rear well muscled balancing front when settled moved out well with drive. Pushed hard all day to take BD BOS

Taylor’s Deaconfield Kingcraft. Another nice youngster nicely balanced Tri comments of one apply just lacked the maturity of 1 today.

Mitchell & Wright’s Huntshill Tornado JW. Tri boy nicely balanced throughout. Head of correct ratios nice stop and ear set good pigment and reach of neck well laid shoulders balanced by rear! good ribbing with depth good tail set and turned out beautifully moved out well to take the class and on to RBD

Ryan’s AwreridgeWaterbuck. Tri as balanced as one and many of the comments for 1 apply here. Preferred the movement of 1.

Limit 2)2

zBarrow’s Meganjin Muckle Flugga. 6 year old Tri lovely overall balance correct head proportions and stop, nice ear set lined up with eyes, good reach of neck and and well laid shoulders, good ribbing and loin Leading to a rear that matched the front to give angles that pleased. Moved out with drive and pushed in the challenge.

McBain & Stevens’s Bondlea Layman. Lovely head on a good length of neck with well laid shoulders, well ribbed in spring and depth, front and rear angles balanced nicely moved out well with reach and drive.

Kingsland’s Redcap Wensleydale. Tri boy of balance with a good head with correct amount of stop and depth of head. Good ratios and eye colour gave a nice expression. Good length of neck in to well laid shoulders, well boned legs, good depth and spring of rib balanced by loin and moved out well. 

Hargrave’s Barterhound Tudor for Valsacre. Tri all comments applied to this quality hound as 1 he pushed hard all the way through the class. Just preferred the finish on the winner.

Veteran. 5)2

McBain’s & Stevens’s Bondlea Layman. Lovely head on a good length of neck with well laid shoulders, well ribbed in spring and depth, front and rear angles balanced nicely moved out well with reach and drive BVD

Roderick’s Barterhound Garrison. Tan and white of good balance and type. Balanced head with correct proportions, good reach of neck and angles throughout. Ribs well sprung and of good depth. Lost out on the move to 1. 




Bitches


Minor Puppy. 3)2


Roderick’s Barterhound Princess. 7 month Tri of correct proportions. Lovely head of correct proportions and stop. Nice eyes with correct ear set gave a lovely expression. Good reach of neck leading to well laid shoulders. Good depth and spring of rib balanced the loin, well boned without being course or masculine. Moved with poise yet showed typical beagle merryness. BPB BPIS

Nash’s Kelseva Legally Blonde. Tan and white lady who was balanced and had a good head angles and ratios. Lost out to the winner on the move. 



Puppy 1)1

1)Keepence & Keyte’s Redcap Northern Lights over Alanobel. Tri girl. Good head of correct head proportions. Good stop and ear set good reach of neck and well laid shoulders. Good ribs and loin balanced angles front and rear. Moved nicely when settled. Hence losing out for BPB


Junior. 2)2


Williams’s Devonresky Galway Girl. Tri girl with correct head ratios and ear set. Good neck and well laid shoulder. Good depth of rib, rear and front balanced to move out well. 

Taylor’s Deaconfield Keepsake. Tan and white of good quality balance. Correct ratios in head and body nicely ribbed and good anglesall through. Not as steady on the move.

Kingsland & Nash’s Redcap Amelia Earhart. Nice head of correct proportions. Good stop eye and ear set. Nice reach of neck on well laid shoulders. Good bone and well ribbed loin balanced and angles balanced fore and rear. Best mover in class. 

McBain & Stevens’s Blitzlilie Winter is Coming. Tri girl all comments apply as 1 a litter heavier in build and not as good on the move hence placing today.

Mitchell & Wright’s Huntshill Teasel. 23 month Tri bitch good head of correct proportions good stop and pigment. Good ear set, length of neck and shoulders. Well sprung ribs of good depth balanced by loin. Front and rear balanced nicely to give a good picture stood and on the move. RBB. RBIS

Warner’s Aweridge Watercolour JW. Another Tri girl. Nice head and balance throughout. Good ribbing and bone. Moved well and pushed 1 all the way.

Kingsland’s Redcap Cleopatra. 2 year old Tri balanced head with correct stop and ratios, good length of neck into well laid shoulders, good spring of rib with depth and balanced loin. Good angles fore and rear allowed good movement to take class and push hard in the challenge. 

Mitchell & Wright’s Huntshill Starstruck. 5 year old good head of correct ratios and good stop. Good shoulders and ribs balanced all round. Pipped on movement.

 Brown’s Raimex Reed Bunting JW. Tri bitch of lovely balance throughout. Correct head proportions and ratios. Good length of ear nicely set. Good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, good bone and substance without being course or masculine. Moved with reach and drive and showed a merry countenance throughout the class and subsequent challenges. BB, BIS

Breeze’s Darvicard Humminbird of Parkbreeway. Another lovely bitch of good proportions and ratios, good lay of shoulder and strong rear to balance most of my comments from the 1 apply. Not as tidy on the move hence the second.

Hargrave’s Valsacre Echo JW. A lovely balanced lady who showed herself off hiding her age well. Good head of correct proportions and a nice stop. Lovely expression. Good reach of neck and well laid shoulder. Well ribbed with a nice loin to balance. well muscled and in lovely condition. Moved out with purpose and drive to take the biggest class of the day. BVB. RBVIS

Roderick’s Barterhound Razzle. Very much enjoying her day out and another who hid her age well. Well balanced throughout with correct head, height, length ratios. Good ribbing and a firm loin, well laid shoulders and good substance. Moved with poise reach and drive.
