Afghan: Special Yearling (1; 1absent) Limit (1; 1a) Open (1; 1a)

Beagle: Special Yearling (3) 1. Henningsson-Dundas’ Julemark Artful; 11 month dog. Slightly domed, long head with an appealing expression from dark eyes. Good round bone, strong neck and well sprung ribs, short coupled body. Nicely balanced on the stand and during his sound movement carrying his tail happily BP & BOB

2. Porter’s Puddlehill Scarlet Witch; 16 month girl with feminine head and gentle expression. Good shoulders matched by turn of stifle, slightly longer cast than 1. Moved truly in all directions but would prefer a prouder head carriage on the move.

3. Tofts’ Jarrowley Teasel

 Limit (2:1a) 1. Leader’s Rosrodens Debonair; Broad masculine head with well developed lips. Good ribs, level topline, well laid shoulders but a little short of upper arm. Good turn of stifle contributed to driving movement.

Open (3;2a ) 1. Leader’s Rosrodens Aphrodite; Well shaped feminine head enhanced by large dark eyes and good pigment. Slightly arched neck, well muscled short coupled body, Good balanced throughout standing and moving Rhodesian Ridgeback Special Yearling (1;1a) Limit (1;1a)

Open (2;1a) 1. Cox’s Carlincox First Class JW; Just over 2 yrs old and in peak condition with ideal ridge. Long skull with good breadth accentuated by high set ears. Powerful neck, well muscled throughout with good angles front and back. Moved true in all directions with reach and drive and a certain elegance. BOB & Group 4

Whippet: Puppy (2;1) 1. Wilton-Clark’s AAniston Celebrity News at Shalfleet (Imp Swe); 9 month old of good quality. Long head tapering down to muzzle, bright intelligent eyes. Long neck into strong sloping shoulders, good depth of chest and well turned stifles. An elegant mover with decent drive. In excellent coat and condition. BP & Puppy Group 2

Post Grad (3;2a) 1. Stock’s Selinko Black Rose of Shemist; Feminine girl with correct head, well set apart dark alert eyes. Superb for long elegant neck. Athletic balanced body of good shape. Moved with powerful rear action

Limit (1) 1. Seimet, Day & Johnsen’s Plumcreek Go Forth Yankee Gal to Sejoda (Imp USA); Long, well tapered, finer head. OK for neck, good outline with sloping shoulders and well turned stifles. A little soft in muscle tone and topline today

Open (3) 1. Wilton-Clark’s Shalfleet The Lion King; Excellent head shape, flat on top, long and lean with oval, alert eyes. Long, strong elegant neck flowed into well laid shoulders, long back with arch over loin and well turned stifles all held together with lean hard muscle produced driving rear movement with good extension and front reach with the feet staying low. Covered the ground effortlessly with power and elegance. BOB & Group 1

2. Stock’s Shemist Party Girl; Fine long head with slight stop. Well sprung ribs and good angles front and back. Moved with good drive but with slight high stepping in front.

3. Seimet, Day & Johnsen’s Demerlay Plumcreek Dixie of Sejoda

HOUND AVNSC: Puppy (1;1a)

Special Yearling (3;1a) 1. Weston’s Longmynd Zodiac (Basset); Domed head with slight taper and well flewed lips, low set long ears. Muscular neck with some dewlap. Long body of good depth throughout and prominant breast bone. Very muscular rear with well turned stifle. Moved with powerful drive and good front reach. Best AVNSC & Group 3

2. Fox’s Nebraska Ionmhain Norman at Newdigate (Imp Fra)(Irish Wolfhound); Excllent head properties, long with enough breadth and carried proudly on the move, dark eyes and small ears. Long, solid and slightly arched neck. Well built with good tuck up. Moved a little lazily today but still covered good ground.

Open (1) 1. Osbourne’s Braego Gladys Aylward ShCM(PBGV); Slightly domed head with square muzzle in well balanced head. Large dark eyes had gave an impish expression. Strong neck and well laid shoulders. Good for size and balance. Profile movement was exceptional with great reach and drive as she powered round.

HOUND AV: Puppy (4;1a) 1. Porter-Manning & Porter’s Wallaroo Karlek Lindor (mini-smooth Dachs); Long, conical head, well balanced from front to back of head. Dark eyes and high set broad ears. Long backed and short loined, together with good angulation made for a pleasing outline which was held during positive profile movement.

2. Thompson’s Enchanted Storyat Edringer (mini-smooth Dachs); Another with a correct head together with almond shaped eyes. Well put together but longer and not as well angulated as the winner. Moved around steadily.

3. Pitfield’s Follyfield Farfalla (mini-long Dachs)

Special Yearling (4;1a) 1. Kitchen’s Swingletrees Roses Are Red at Tarkdash (mini-smooth Dachs); Correct head tapering down to muzzle with slight arch. Well set ears and dark eyes completed an attractive head study which was carried high on an elegant neck. Strong bone and well muscled body. Moved truly in all direction with driving action

2. Wilson’s Bonavoir Senorita at Rogermardax (long haired Dachs); Classic head, an aloof almost regal carriage. A reluctant mover today but sound and true when she did

3. Thompson’s Black Buttons Sweet Heart (mini-smooth Dachs)

Open (1,1a)

Veteran (7;2a) 1. Marks’ Ch. Labbadax Belladonna (stand. Long Dachs); Top quality throughout, Conical head, long with correct width, tapering down equally to muzzle with slight arch. Almond, dark eyes,jet black pigment and high set ears made for a well proportioned picture throughout. Solid, well made long body, good angulation front and rear, sprung ribs. Sound movement all round with a well held tail, really covered the ground with powerful elegance.

2. Cross’ Stargang Sansa (mini-smooth Dachs); Elongated, tapering head with almond eyes. Good keel, length of back and loin. Moved true coming and going but not as strong as 1st from the rear

2. Marks’ Labbadax Lewisville Texas (stand. Long Dachs); Masculine, long head with dark correct shaped eyes and well carried ears. Solid muscular body, correctly laid shoulders and sprung ribs, short in loin. Moved with head held high, reaching and driving with purpose.

3. Weston’s Longmynd Zodiac (Basset); Domed head with slight taper and well flewed lips, low set long ears. Muscular neck with some dewlap. Long body of good depth throughout and prominant breast bone. Very muscular rear with well turned stifle. Moved with powerful drive and good front reach

1. Johnson’s Africandawns Night Trooper (stand. Long Dachs); The potential of this dog leapt out. Conical head shape, well tapered, almond eyes. Balanced and powerful from head to tail with good muscle. Moved truly and with purpose in all directions, top quality throughout finished off with a well presented coat.

2. Wilton-Clark’s Aaniston Celebrity News at Shalfleet (Imp Swe)(Whippet); 9 month old of good quality. Long head tapering down to muzzle, bright intelligent eyes. 1. Fewkes Coatakinti Stolen Kisses at Jatinker (Shar Pei) Large, broad wrinkled head with frowning look, thick lips, black mouth and tongue. Compact square shape with good muscle and bone. Deep chest and moderate angle. Moved effortlessly with high set and carried tail.

2. Offer’s Woolytop The Wherryman ShCM (Bedlington) Long, deep head with no apparent stop and groomed to give pear shaped look. Large black nose, very dark eyes. Well muscled body, narrow deep ribs and a slight arch over loin. Moved true in all directions.

3. Roberts’ Fanmatrix Oh What A Night (Pointer)
