Thank you to the society for this invitation, this is a very well run show in a great location. My thanks also to the exhibitors who entered under me today, I really did appreciate this nice overall entry.

Puppy D/B – no entries

Yearling D/B (2, 0 abs)

1st Henshaw & Gardner’s Magikus Belatrix Black – 23 month old black bitch of nice type. Square outline. Feminine although a bit small size wise for me personally. Head of good proportions, excellent pigment, good length of neck into well laid shoulders, straight front. Good rear angulation which was balanced with front. A lovely, sound mover. Keeps her top line, sound coming and going, very typical side profile mover. Does need more body but is still young yet.

2nd Owen’s Magikus Draco Malfoy- 23 month old white male, litter brother to 1st. Larger type overall, stands a little too long in leg which makes him look taller than he is long, when he starts to get length to his coat it may help with this. Good head proportions, masculine, good pigment for a white. Short in loin, good depth of chest and overall showing maturity starting to develop in body. Nicely muscled throughout. On examination found him to be slightly narrow at the elbow which showed in his movement coming towards me. Shows drive from rear and typical profile movement.

Limit D/B (3, 0 abs)

1st and RBOB Henshaw & Gardner’s Tyngeli Snow White for Magikus- 5 yrs old, this bitch has come on really well. White, of a nice size and lovely type. Square outline. Lovely head with excellent proportions, excellent pigment. Well sprung ribs, good depth to chest, short loin. Stands a little wide in front. Well angulated rear. Moving shows lovely drive, brisk action, does look eye catching on the move but I preferred the more typical front of the BOB. Well presented.

2nd Cowley’s Somogyi Betyar Bodza at Kashbeluli – almost 3 yrs, a smaller bitch, I do prefer more all through but you cannot deny her lovely type and super balance. Small, well proportioned head, slightly narrow in muzzle, super pigment. Straight front, short loin, balanced angles front and rear. On the move could be a little more animated but she is very sound and shows typical brisk, short stepping movement.

Open D/B (2, 1 abs)

1st & BOB Cowley’s Callendu Despicable Me at Kashbeluli ShCM – 4 ½ year old black male who really is a lovely Puli. Stood he presents a square outline. He is of ideal size and masculinity for me. He has good head proportions, good neck into well laid shoulders and straight front. Mature in body, good depth of chest and spring of rib, short loin. Really liked his rear angles, he shows great drive on the move. Pleased he had his showing head on today because his movement was super, so typical, the heat not bothering him at all. Top line solid throughout. A very nice Puli.
