MPD (1)

1. Smith’s Ribbleriver Sam I Am at Jolakada. Quality youngster who is so well made. Pleasing head properties with shaggy hair framing his face, dark round sparkling eyes, good chin and turn up giving a mischievous monkey like expression. Well bodied for age, short level back, moderate angulations and correct harsh jacket. Moved very well with a confident lively strutting action. A lovely unexaggerated, old fashioned type who showed the older dogs how to move. Pleased to award him RDCC. Unfortunately he was unable to stay to challenge for best puppy.

PD (2)

1. Smith’s Ribbleriver Sam I Am at Jolakada. Repeat. Preferred his size and shape and had the better front movement.

2. McEvoy & Pirrie’s Imrun’s Pikes Peak (Imp). Taller boy, still square in outline who will need time to drop into his frame to give a more sturdy appearance. Attractive masculine head, high set ears, dark sparkling eyes and good mouth. Moderate angulations fore and aft, level topline, high set tail just held a touch tight to back. Moves out soundly with reasonable lift at front. Shown in harsh jacket and lovely body condition.

JD (8,1abs)

1. McEvoy & Pirrie’s Faehat Mwnci Du. Lovely size and type. Delightful head framed by shaggy hair aiding his cheeky monkey like expression, high set ears which need to settle a little and round dark eyes. Sturdy body, good spring of rib, short level back and moderate hind angulation. High set tail and jet black harsh coat. Moves well with lively strutting action.

2. Todhunter & Todhunter’s Pennington Titus Oates. Another lovely boy, super head with blunt muzzle and good turn up giving a cheeky monkey expression, high set ears and round dark sparkling eyes. He can stand a bit wide at front but doesn’t move wide. Moderate angulation fore and aft, short level back, and high set tail. Black harsh jacket. Moved well with a lively strutting action and good lift at front.

3. Wiggins’ Scapafield Schwarz Odyssey

PGD (4,1abs)

1. Currie’s Venustus Milliners Man for Faehat. Stood out for his lovely size and balanced outline. Attractive head with a mischievous monkey expression, high set ears, dark eyes, good chin with nice turn up. Well ribbed, short level back and moderate angulations with a high set tail. Harsh jacket. Out moved the others in this class with a lively self-important strutting action and good lift at front.

2. Harvey’s Carmichan Where's Walter for Balata. Really liked this boy, pleasing masculine head with dark eyes, high set ears, good chin and turn up giving a super monkey like expression. Plenty of substance, short level back and moderate angulation topped off with a harsh coat. Just needs a bit more oomph and confidence on move but he is sound away and back.

3. Cary’s Faehat Cariad

LD (1)

1. Schneider’s Vondercroft Mavro Ozzy. Mature boy with the blackest of harsh jackets. Top size perhaps but all in proportion and nicely balanced. Good front, deep chest, well ribbed with firm level topline. Good tail carriage and correct rear angulation. Moved out well with a lively action and good lift at front.

OD (7)

1. Greenwood’s Capricho Keck Laus Bub. Loved the head and expression on this mature dog, real old fashioned type, with such an appealing monkey like expression. Nothing exaggerated or overdone. Scores highly for his excellent head properties, high set ears, sparkling dark eyes, super chin and turn up all framed by shaggy hair. Plenty of substance and bone. Good front, well ribbed, deep chest, short body and level topline. Good rear angulation and high set tail carried gently over his back. Super movement fore and aft with typical lively strutting action giving an air of his own self-importance, very pleased to award him the DCC & BOB.

2. McEvoy’s Ch Riogaioch Kaiser Bill JW. Another lovely boy of a pleasing size, very typy and full of character. Attractive masculine head with a delightful monkey like expression, dark eyes and high set ears. Well-made body, deep chest, and firm level back, just appeared a touch longer in loin compared to the winner. Jet black coat of correct harsh texture. Moved out positively with a lively confident action.

VD (3,2abs)

1. Shepherd’s Fin Ch Est Ch Lat Ch Avantgarde Importance of Being Earnest. Mature boy of a pleasing overall size and shape. MPB (2)

1. Harrison’s Ribbleriver Sams Freya. Preferred her movement and more cobby outline. Sweet head, very feminine monkey like expression, high set ears and dark sparkling eyes framed by shaggy hair. Short neck, placed on well-balanced body. Short level back and well ribbed. Moderate hind angulation and high set tail. Harsh black jacket. Moved out well with good lift and reach. Delightful baby who shows much promise.

2. Ferrier’s Rangimaria Lucy Locket. Raw baby who appears slightly longer in body than winner and not as sturdy at the moment but this can improve with age. Pretty head and expression, dark eyes and good chin. Good tail carriage, correct rear angulation. Moved out well just needs to strengthen behind.

PB (2)

1. Schneider’s Vondercroft Calina Affle. Still lots of developing to do as still quite immature for her age, but again time will improve this. Pleasing size and shape. Pretty monkey like head, darkest of eyes, ears can still settle, blunt muzzle with good chin and turn up giving a cheeky expression. Short back and level topline and nicely angulated behind. Jet black coat which still needs to harshen up. Scores highly on move, really struts her stuff with a lively action and good lift at front. Promising youngster. BPIB

2. Ferrier’s Rangimaria Lucy Locket. See MP notes. Pretty little girl giving away a lot in terms of maturity in this class.

JB (8,1abs)

1. Shennan’s Imrun's Norwegian Winter Rose for Ashiblack. This quality young lady shone out for me today. She has personality plus with such a cheeky character. Super for size, well balanced outline and quite the showgirl too. Loved her head, just gorgeous, framed by shaggy hair, round dark sparkling eyes, high set ears, good chin and turn up all giving a real monkey like expression. Pleasing straight legs, deep chest, and short level back, moderate hind angulations and high set well carried tail, all topped off with a nice harsh jacket. It was on the move that she scored so highly, very confident with a typical lively, strutting movement, lifting her front feet high. Found it difficult to look past her and was pleased to award her the BCC, her first I understand.

2. Wiggins’ Scapafield Schwarz Olena. Lovely for size and shape, again an old fashioned type who is so nicely put together. Feminine head with shaggy hair, rounded dome, good ear placement and expressive dark eyes, good chin and turn up giving her a delightful expression. Straight front legs, well bodied with short level back, moderate hind angulation and well carried tail. Harsh jacket. Really good mover with sound and animated action. A quality girl who shows much promise.

3. Carlyle’s Fiesta's Room Full Of Roses

PGB (6,2abs)

1. Gill’s Florindale Connie Cooper JW. Preferred the head and expression of this one, she could perhaps make a little more of herself in the ring, that said she is typy with a pretty head and monkey like expression, high set ears dark eyes and good chin and turn up. Well-shaped body with deep chest, short back and good rear angulation. Shown in lovely condition with harsh jacket. Moved out well with unexaggerated lift at front.

2. Brockhurst’s Affentude Tiny Dancer at Minibuzz. Smaller bitch but all in proportion and nicely balanced. Pretty monkey like head and expression, good ears, dark eyes and blunt muzzle. Nicely shaped body with deep chest, short back and good rear angulation. Moved out soundly and happily.

1. Pirrie’s Urax Black Diamond for Riogaioch (Imp) JW. Animated young lady, full of fun and cheeky personality. Loved her size and shape. Pretty head and expression, very monkey like with loose shaggy hair. High set ears, dark eyes, blunt muzzle and good chin. Well bodied, deep chest, short level back, moderate hind angulation and high set tail. Eye caching on move with her lively strutting action and very good front lift. Another contender for top honours.

2. Pirrie’s Flame Dancer at Riogaioch. Similar size to winner and much to like also, perhaps not quite so well balanced as winner. Feminine monkey like head, high set ears and dark eyes. Could carry a touch less weight over her shoulders to advantage, straight front legs, short deep body and moderate hind angulation. Harsh black jacket. Moved out soundly with a good strutting action.

3. Currie’s Riogaioch Cae Pabi for Faehat

OB (8,1abs)

1. Faithfull’s Hamlock the Conspirator at Jonevelyn Sh.CM. Lovely unexaggerated bitch who needs to be handled to appreciate her qualities. Pretty head and monkey like expression, round sparkling eyes, blunt muzzle with good turn up. Straight front, short level back, high set tail and moderate hind angulation. Shown in super condition, with a harsh jacket. One of the few that had really good muscle tone. Accurate movement fore and aft with a lively strutting action. Really lovely example of the breed and such a tough decision, not quite the outgoing cocky attitude of the junior girl, so had to settle for RBCC today.

2. Hick’s Carmichan Heidi Hi. Another lovely unexaggerated bitch, would like her a shade smaller all round as she is top size for me. Super head framed by loose shaggy hair, dark sparkling eyes, blunt muzzle with good chin and turn up all giving a delightful monkey like expression. Short level back, deep chest and moderate hind angulations. Shown in fit condition with showed in her sound lively action.

3. Pirrie’s Riogaioch Come On Over JW.
