Pomeranian

This was a most enjoyable day with some lovely dogs present. The overall standard was pretty high with the bitch entry being of considerable quality, primarily contained amongst the youngsters. This bodes well for the future and I had the impression that today I handled many future bitch champions. There were no health issues detected whatsoever.

Minor Puppy - Dog

1st Ogilvie’s Pakov's Nat King Cole. A really gorgeous black with such an endearing expression. Naturally immature but clearly screams champion quality. Alert at all times, he uses this wonderful expression to advantage. Super-size for age, short coupled body, high set tail. Moved superbly. I shall watch his progress with interest.

2nd Simmons’s Lireva's Dream Maker For Petitpom. Quite an appealing expression. Not as compact as 1. Level back, high set flat profusely coated tail. Good textured coat for age. Front movement needs to settle; has time on his side.

Puppy - Dog

1st Holman’s Baromar Dubonet at Altina. Extremely mature puppy and is already a most accomplished showman. Well shaped head with excellent finish, ears small and set high. Good dentition. Clean front, super shoulders which aided an impressive forehand reach. Well ribbed, short loin. Rear angulations balance his forequarters. In respect of coat texture this will change with maturity. I thought him quite special. RDCC & BPIB

2nd Simmons’s Sueacres Legend Of Petitpom. Balanced in profile, OK expression. Well placed ears and dark bright intelligent eyes. Good dentition. Liked his coat texture. Just a touch narrow coming back to me. Well handled.

Junior - Dog

1st Norman’s Alexiasdream Is Fabioso JW. A lovely young dog of correct size and balance. Scores in head qualities, bright expressive eyes, good stop and dentition, muzzle free of throatiness. Initially found difficulty overcoming the spikey grass but eventually his movement settled. Excellent body and backline. Must have a promising future.

2nd Adamson’s Darade Paco Rabanne For Sylvids. Alert and intelligent expression which is most attractive. Correct coat and texture. Would prefer him a touch shorter coupled and more body weight would enhance. Moved well.

3rd Charlton’s Darade Style And Class

Post Graduate - Dog

Entries: 5 Absentees: 2

1st Holman’s Altina's Manhattan. Won a rather mixed class. Best of heads. Compact body. High set tail and correct coat texture. Neck well set. Compact body, short loin and slight tuck up. Front legs straight and moderately placed. Would just prefer stronger rear drive. Stylish mover in profile.

2nd Hillan’s Pommania S Lightning. Alert in character, like the compactness of body and substance. Moved well. Just preferred the expression and finish of muzzle of 1.

3rd Smith’s Wishingate Best Kept Secret

Limit – Dog

A quality class

1st Chilton & Davey’s Sixth Sense Hankey Bannister By Klassna (Imp UKR). A really impressive dog who scores in size and shape. He produces an eye catching profile. Head with lovely expression and finish of muzzle. I thought the body proportions were particularly impressive especially his super ribbing. Level short back with high set tail. Just a touch narrow going away. Great coat. Considered for the RCC. Champion quality.

2nd Fox’s Kenigsvet Glering Light At Foxlyn (Imp Rus). Another lovely dog that pressed 1 all the way. Lovely size, compact throughout. Shoulders well laid. Balanced head, lovely eyes; ears large enough but well set. Presented in super coat and condition. Hard decision.

3rd Berrington’s Kamis Tin Tin At Altina (Imp Rus) JW

Open - Dog

1st Cawthera-Purdy Ch Reta Hugo's There Lireva. An extremely well schooled dog, beautifully presented and supports a definitive textured coat. Gorgeous expression from a well-balanced head which is relatively broad at the back tapering to the nose forming the required finish. Dark almond shaped eyes full of fire, small high set ears, correctly proportioned muzzle and perfect dentition. Well set shoulders. Body with lovely rib and chest. Super movement from a very neat front assembly, well laid shoulders and well angulated rear. Delighted to award him another well-deserved DCC.

2nd Holman’s Ch Kamis Mystical Legend Of Brooklyn At Altina (Imp Rus) JW ShCM. In profile he produces such a balanced outline having the correct height of leg and length of body to enable him to produce it. A masterful showman, always giving 100%. Appealing head with great finish of foreface. Preferred the coat texture of winner. Super mover. A close call between two very worthy champion representatives.

3rd Fox’s Salsapom De Comandante Che Guevara At Foxlyn (Imp Rus) ShCM

Minor Puppy - Bitch

Entries: 8 Absentees: 1

1st Smith’s Sueacres Just A Dream. A super prospect. I liked this girl a lot. She excels in head qualities, shape and size. Her coat texture is ideal despite her young age. Upon examination I found her to have a clean front assembly, ideal shoulders, secure top line and high tail setting - all exactly as it should be. Well off for body proportions. Whilst I fully appreciate that her very similar litter sister has already enjoyed top honours, this one’s extremely precise and accurate movement is worthy of note.

2nd Simmons’s Tiny Jewels' Diamond Crown For Petitpom (Imp Nor) NAF TAF. Another smart package. Alert and right on the ball! Excels in shape and substance. Just a touch reluctant on the table but has plenty of time. A very smart mover.

3rd Baranzeck’s Villenelle's Cream Crush (Mrs Aj Baranzeck)

Puppy – Bitch

A really lovely class, full of beauties!

1st Sparrow’s Lireva's Toot Sweet To Casarow. Glorious for head qualities and expression. Eyes dark, intelligent and mischievous, ears small and correctly placed, skull well shaped, correct stop and lovely ratios in respect to length of muzzle. Neck well set into shoulders, level backline from withers to croup, tail heavily plumed and high set. Coat of fabulous denseness and texture. Strong rear angulations. Sound positive mover with a proud carriage. Occasionally misbehaving but she is, after all, still a puppy! RCC.

2nd Black & Black-Bunce’s Dilina Royal Maja Mit Zaandam (Imp Est). My limited notes just state ‘another lovely one’ and continued to record that this is another most promising puppy, similar in many ways to 1. Whilst I just fell in love with the expression of 1 this takes nothing away from hers and I am sure that her certain qualities will take her forward to enjoy a very successful show career.

3rd Cawthera-Purdy’s Lireva's Dancing With Stars

Junior – Bitch

I thought after the conclusion of the previous class, quality in depth would be hard to match but this was not the case - another fabulous class followed!

1st Robb’s Klassna Just Imagine Gleniren. Stunning ultra-feminine bitch in a relatively small package but with a huge character. Cocky and animated at all times she is the ultimate showgirl. So beautiful in composition with the added bonus of having such an endearing expression in that neatly balanced head. The darkest of eyes set with correct width that just sparkle. Darkest of pigmentation in eye rims and nose to enhance. Moderately short muzzle which is graduated and free of lippiness. Correct Scissor bite. Neck set well on and has sufficient length to carry her head high and proud. Compact body, short loin and high well plumed tail. Balanced rear and front angulations. Coat of correct texture. Her movement is so eye catching and accurate too. She gave a star studded performance the very moment she entered the ring and this continued throughout the day. BJ, BCC (her second), BOB & delighted to witness her winning the Toy Junior Group.

2nd Graham’s Pomstyle Prada Infusion (Rus Imp). NAF TAF. Yet another absolutely stunning ultra-feminine girl. Right out of the top drawer. Many of the same attributes apply here. Gorgeous in shape, proud in deportment and light and accurate in footfall. Presented to perfection. Clearly another potential champion and extremely unlucky to meet 1 on such good form. Seriously considered for the RCC.

3rd Whitelock’s Reta's Gay Paree

Post Graduate - Bitch

Entries: 8 Absentees: 2

1st Cawthera-Purdy’s Lireva's Tickles Her Fancy. Scores extremely highly in head qualities- excellent dentition and finish to foreface, fabulous eyes. Underneath that correctly textured coat she has a super body, level back and extremely well assembled forequarters. Neat feet. Strong rear assembly. Moved superbly.

2nd Chalmer’s Toybox Charlotte Rousse. There is a lot to admire here, particularly her head qualities. Super expression. Neat fitted body and correctly assembled front and rear. Pressed 1 all the way but just did not quite move with the same animation in the final go around. Close call between two very nice bitches.

3rd Dunne’s Lireva Maid For Cher Ring With Charosmack

Limit - Bitch

Entries: 5 Absentees: 0

1st Cawthera-Purdy’s Lireva's Sweet Dream. Excels in body coat texture and furnishings. Gorgeous colour coupled with the darkest of pigmentation to boot. Good for head, neck, dentition and eyes. Looked smart when moving in profile. Just needs to steady a tad in front as became a touch untidy. Presented in great condition.

2nd Charlton’s Retas Secret Kiss. A real showgirl. She certainly gives 100%. Balanced head, fair neck and a well knitted frame. Clean well laid back shoulders. Secure topline. Tail high set, profusely covered, flat and carried over back. Her movement was stylish in deportment; sound and steady.

3rd Bridgen’s Spanapoms The Way You Move At Lapchis

Open - Bitch

Entries: 4 Absentees: 0

1st Ogilvie’s Ch Pakovs Proud to Be Black. Super Black mature bitch. Beautifully balanced and compact throughout but free from stuffiness. Mouth OK. Great coat and condition. Well balanced head with super expression. Moved with style with fair reach of forehand and hind legs when viewed going away were perfectly parallel to each other. Expert handling.

2nd Cawthera-Purdy’s Ch Lireva's Future Dreams. Another head which demands a second look, especially those eyes. Excellent dentition. Well set small ears. A touch overenthusiastic on the move and clearly a real character! Again a super textured coat from this kennel and textbook presentation.
