LEONBERGERS 

My thanks to the committee for their appointment to Judge, to my Stewards for their hard work  

organising the smooth running of the ring, & to my exhibitors for attending on such a horrific wet  

day. 

Dogs/Bitches were in good healthy condition some eyes were a trifle large/round, movement  

close on back & coats of all varieties to be expected due to the weather we are encountering at  

the moment. There were also some dirty dentitions

PD (2) Both promising youngsters 

1. Lear-Schofield Mrs CE & Mr J  ALFROSS KAPUKO UTE ECLIPSE .i thought this young man to be  

better than his brother. He has a stronger frame/bone& muscle. Head has full mask & is  

developing at the right ratio with a good ear carriage, Dark eyed, nice muzzle & correct  

dentition. His neck is set firmly onto a good lay of shoulder. Clean angulations on fore &  

hindquarters shown in full coat with plenty of feathering. Sound top line & nice rise over  

loins. Maintains a good tail set on the move when settled but does tend to move over on the  

back Good feet with well-padded black pads.2. Lee Schofield Mrs C E & Mr J ALFROSS KAPUKO  

MARUKI, Smaller frame, bone & muscle, although he does present a well-balanced picture for  

his size Head is in proportion with dark eye good ear carriage. Broad muzzle & correct  

bite. Clean angulations let down onto hocks Nicely black padded feet. Good top line & tail set  

with rise over loins. His was the sounder movement today but both were ‘playing up’ on the  

move. 

JD (3.1) (Brothers) 

1.Bodle Mrs B   BEBOLLINBY JUST KRUZIN’INTO KITARN   Full coated including feathering is a   

heavier type Maintains a good overall picture of substance to size. Head is balance with good ear  

carriage, dark eyed, strong muzzle & full dentition. Nice Reach of neck onto shoulders Deep chest  

Clean top & body lines with good tail set Moved strongly & with drive 2. Mrs A Bell/Mrs J Newlands  

DEBBOLLINBY KRUZ CONTROL FOR WASSERHUND  Finer type & erratic probably due to weather  

. Has all the virtues of his brother including good movement

1.Bell Mrs J VECTISELEON KIAJA WOLFRIK Couldn’t fault shown in good condition & has all major  

points including sound movement

LD (2.1) 

1 BANCROFT Ms L E JANIONELY PUCKER UP FLYNN Another dog that fits the picture. In good  

condition & ratio to size. Has all major points but let down by movement that was close on back. 

OD (1) 

1. Lear-Schofields Mrs C E & Schofield Mr J CH LEMPILIJONAN ITSE KATEUDEPOIKA(IMP) Eye  

catching & what one expects for a champion Stands boldly & with panache good ring  

presence .Presents a good overall picture of soundness, in full coat & has all the required standard  

points a pleasure to ‘go over’ & ‘the one  to take home’ 

VD (1) 

1. Burrell Mrs A ROSSNICK QUEST FOR A STAR SHCM  (Only RL colour today)  I loved this ‘oldie’ as  

he entered the ring. Coming up to 8 years but still has ring presence.IN Good coat, feathering  

&condition. A credit to his owner & Breeder Head is cleanly defined with good ear carriage & is dark  

eyed (A bit sparse on dentition) But his overall frame oozed power & strength. With all virtues A  

little lethargic today but not surprizing with the weather 

Beg D/B (1) 

1.Bancroft Ms E L JANTONELY PUCKER UP FLYNN (Stet) From previous class 

PB (2) 

1.Rushby   Mr & Mrs D AMATHUS ESPECIALLY FOR YOU JOCOLDA  Unsetted so was unable to fully  

assess however she appears to be developing at the right ratio with good bone & substance Head is  

still to come through but is nicely forming with correct dentition.When settled movement was sound 

2. LEAR-Schofield Mrs C E & Schofield Mr J ALFROSS KAPUKO KALINDA  Another skittish youngster 

Enjoying herself & still needs to settle but I feel that the weather was partly to blame for this.Either  

could have changed places & I am sure in the future will do so. She is a  smaller type to 1 but has  

ratio to size Head is developing with nice bite All other points are there Movement was erratic.Just 

 needs time to settle.Look forward to seeing both of these puppies in the future as I am sure it will  

be  a change about placing from show to show

1.Page Mr& Mrs A & D PAGENCY NOEL’S VIANOCE Presents a good picture of substance to size  

whilst still maintaining her feminine image. Head is well defined with mask, dark eyed, correct  

bite, nice reach of neck set onto a good lay of shoulder Deep brisket with tuck up & is close  

coupled. Clean angulations let down on to hocks with nice back padded feet. Maintains a good  

top line & tail set on the move & moved soundly with drive 

 2. Bennett Mrs R E LEOSRUS JUST REMEMBER   Another lovely feminine bitch. Head not quite  

developed as 1 she is also a tadge long in back quite acceptable in a bitch, but it does throw off the  

balance to the overall picture. Otherwise all standard points are there & she moved soundly around  

the ring. 3. .Mclay Mr S BAVARUKI KIELAN LADYBIRD

1.Rose Mrs B LEODONNA ETERNITY BEDEBURN in full coat & good feathering presenting a lovely  

picture of soundness & health owner to be complement on her grooming especially on such a  

horrendous day. Has all major points & moved gracefully around the ring.
