Breed: Akita

JUNIOR DOG (1/1)

  1. Page’s WHATIF’S INFINITY Skull correct shape but still growing into ears. Eye shape & bite good. Correct tail set & carriage. Narrow throughout & would prefer more depth of chest & spring of rib, but body shape correct. Good coat texture for age. Steady on move, however close behind.

POST GRADUATE DOG (2/1)

  1. Bostock & Armstrong’s LSA ASTON MARTIN BY RUTHDALES NAF TAF This impressive boy was not happy so did not show to his best advantage. Correct head proportions with good eye, ears & bite. Good head carriage. Good depth of chest, and correct body shape. Good coat texture. Correct tail set & carriage. Once he got going he moved steadily, although rear movement was very unsettled. In spite of this, he merited RCC

OPEN DOG (4/3)

  1. McLean’s MELODOR ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE IR JUN CH, CJW17, CW17 Smart dog, masculine with correct head proportions, well carried on strong neck. Neat ears, correct eye & bite. Good depth of chest, correct body shape. Excellent coat texture, however would have preferred shorter in some areas. Good tail set & carriage. Correct feet. Sound & free moving. CC
  2. Banks’s FR CH MEIHO’S BULLET PROOF AT SNOWBEACH Correct skull width & shape with good eye, ears, bite, however I preferred the head balance of class winner. Correct body shape. Good coat texture. Correct tail set & carriage.
  3. Niero’s ITA CH REDWITCH WHERE THERE’S A WILL

SPEC BEGINNERS DOG (1/1)

  1. Page’s Whatif’s Infinity

PUPPY BITCH (4/2)

  1. Weaver’s ESTAVA RAIN SKY FITS HEAVEN (IMP NOR) Very smart puppy with lots of promise. Lovely head with correct eye & bite, ears. Correct body shape & size. Good bone for age. Moved steadily and soundly. Should have a bright future. BP
  2. Page’s WHATIF’S ERITRIA Just six months, and very raw. Correct body shape but narrow throughout. Topline dips slightly behind withers. Tail needs to be tighter, very slack at present.

JUNIOR BITCH (1/1)

  1. Hopkin’s TRAVISTOCK MATINEE Correct head shape, but would have preferred a darker eye. Ears a little larger than ideal. Correct body shape, but left her coat at home today. Correct tail set & carriage. Would have preferred a better layback of shoulder, and hind angulation.
LIMIT BITCH (6/4)

  1. Watson’s CALICELESTI REIGN OF GOLD ShCM Lovely head with correct eye & ears. Correct size girl, but would have preferred a little shorter in back for correct balance & a little more angulation either end to give more freedom of movement. Good coat texture. Correct tail set & carriage.
  2. Kovrigin’s KARMA POLICE AKITA VILLA This girl has the correct body shape, however there is too much of her. Lacks feminity. Sound on move.
  3. Goodall’s ENYETO’S SIMPLY DIVINE

 OPEN BITCH (4/4)

  1. Black’s BARANNOD’S IT IS ME Strongest class with difficult decision to be made between two quality bitches. Lovely head of correct proportions with correct eye shape, correct ears & bite. Good head carriage. Correct body shape & size. Balanced throughout. Striking coat of correct texture. Good tail set & carriage. Well constructed, free moving and stylish. CC & BOB
  2. Bevis & Corr’s CH STECAL’S LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT JW This lovely bitch was a very strong challenger. Good head carriage. Correct size. Excellent feet. Good texture & correct tail set & carriage. Sound & free moving. I just preferred the overall style of 1. RCC
  3. Killilea & Clure’s CH REDWITCH LET THE GAMES BEGIN (AI)
