Breed: Catalan Sheepdog

Catalan Sheepdog PGD 1. Donnelly & Hansford, Magicien D'oz Du Clos Millette At Peregos. I liked this lads outline and overall balance. His head is well laid out with strong muzzle slight stop and skull to pronounced occiput not over wide. Round eye with dark pigment. Elbows held firm, some spring to ribcage and level back. Lacked a little in substance. Shape to hindquarters. Moved a tad close behind. RBD. OD. 1. Marr & Fieldsend, Int, Ir Ch La Petite Rana's Aikos Xenia At Kawa, excellent breed type, masculine, muscular, shown in good condition and coat. His strong head is in balance with his body enabling the desired outline. Beautiful dark well pigmented eye. Moderate neck into discernible withers, well placed shoulders into strong straight limbs. His ribcage is well sprung, level topline, gently sloping croup enables low set tail. Well swept hindquarters and low set hocks. Moved soundly with ease. Shown in excellent coat of correct texture. BD. BOB VD/B. 1. Int, Ir Ch La Petite Rana's Aikos Xenia At Kawa. JB. 1. Fieldsend & Theaker, Tisalmyn Miss Moneypenny By Starwell. Feminine 18 m o with balanced outline and decent head. Just enough spring of rib. Some angulation to hindquarters and correct textured coat coming. Moved steady. PGB. 1. Kitchen, Sevarna Delightful Dilys. and delightful she is, so feminine without compromising strength. I considered her very breed specific and well constructed. She came into her own when asked to move, so sound with lovely lines and deportment. Gave way to maturity today in the challenge for BOB. BB OB. 2. 1st. Donnelly & Hansford, Alvegi Borzas Dona At Peregos. Outline to suit with moderate neck carrying reasonable head. Clean shoulders, enough bone into oval feet. Body with shape, level topline with gentle slope to croup and low set tail. Moved steady. 2nd. Kitchen,Sevarna Catalonia's Angel. Feminine with a decent head, dark eye and excellent pigmentation. Moderately short neck and withers defined. Sound enough in construction but needs to come up on the leg. Moved steady. Stuart Mallard. (Judge)
