Limit Dog (11,4)

1st. Farleigh’s - Kinabula Taking Chances. Super body shape on this young boy, he has a beautiful forehand with excellent bone, so good through the body & has a rock solid topline. Well conditioned quarters which allowed him to power round the ring soundly & with style. To be hyper critical his head was a little strong for my personal preference.

2nd. Nix’s - Kitoko Wherever You Go Eiko JW. Beautiful well balanced head with kind expression. He has a very good forehand with super front & neat feet, good depth & spring of rib, level topline, good underline & excellent quarters. Sound as a pound with a good footfall he pushed the winner hard.

3rd. Parrish‘s - Rottzridge Mad About The Boy

Open Dog (14,6)

1st. Catharell’s - Faahac Free N'easy JW ShCM. Quality boy who is all male. He has the most fabulous make & shape, super head & expression, textbook forehand construction with quality bone & neat feet. He has a good depth of chest, spring of rib, strong loin, level topline & well set on tail. He has a good turn of stifle & well let down hocks. On the move this boy is a joy to watch, so sound out & back with an excellent footfall. His conditioning & muscletone were first class & he was sympathetically handled. I had no hesitation in awarding him the CC which I was informed was his crowning CC, I then found out I gave his mother a BIS at a club show 7 years ago, he is certainly a chip off the old block. Many congratulations to his owner & clever breeder.

2nd. Murphy’s - Ch Amahle Mpho At Lusapho ShCM. This dog has fabulous breed type, his head & expression is stunning & his body properties are 1st class. He moved fluidly & with some style. He fully deserved his place here & the RCC, on completing my paperwork I realised I had done this boy well in the past with a different handler, good job I still liked him!

3rd. Craven & Mackfall‘s - Ch Hespa Henry Higgins JW

Veteran Dog Or Bitch (10,1)

Quality class with some excellent dogs going down the line today.

2nd. Parker’s - Ch Trendsetter Jani For Azuli ShCM. An old favourite of mine who I thought would be my winner. She has the most beautiful head & expressive eye, super shoulders, return of upper arm, straight front & tight feet. Rock solid topline, good underline & well made & muscled quarters. She screams quality & has not coarsened in her 7½ years. Her movement was sound & true but she was feeling the heat & did not put enough in on the go around.

3rd. Piehl’s - Ch Kiromol Kubwa Mno JW ShCM

Good Citizen Dog Scheme Dog Or Bitch (3,0)

1st. Collie’s - Kitoko Uptown Funky Fritz.

3rd. Hawkins & Smith’s - Veldtkammer Hot Shot of Lonaza ShCM

Minor Puppy Bitch (5,1)

This 7½ month old girl has a super forehand with reachy neck, excellent depth of chest, spring of rib & good topline. Her quarters were well made & her muscletone good for her age. She moved out well with a good stride & was true fore & aft. A lovely baby I shall follow her career with interest, BPIB & later puppy group 3.

2nd. Catley & McGimpsey’s - Diamondridge Roll The Dice. Another quality 7½ month old, I just preferred the head & expression of my winner. She too has an excellent breed type, lovely body shape & is true on the move. Close call between two lovely babies.

She has a good turn of stifle & well let down hocks, beautiful coat & conditioning, her muscletone was first class & this allowed her to power round the ring with reach & drive. I really liked this youngster but she was a little unsettled with a change of handler in the challenge otherwise she would have pushed her kennel mate harder.

2nd. Pyke & Brooker’s - Jengachenga Derriere Moi at Rozelridge. Pretty girl of 18 months, she has a kind eye & expression, good neck, depth of chest, topline & quarters. She moved well & was shown in gleaming condition.

Super forehand construction, excellent body properties, well made & muscled quarters. Good coat & conditioning, she was super in profile movement but just a little untidy going away which cost her the class win.

3rd. Connolly & White’s - Nguvu Hollaridgeback Girl

Graduate Bitch (2,1)

1st. Brooker & Pyke’s - Ridge's Star Esenia II. Pleasing head with kind eye, good forehand, level topline, good underline, depth of chest & quarters. She moved out well & although alone deserved her class win.

3rd. Taylor’s - Tokwe Truly Tickety Boo

Limit Bitch (16,3)

A lovely class of quality & quantity.

1st. Bates‘ - Gunthwaite's Tickled Pink JW. This young lady is a real classy bitch. She has the most beautiful head, with a dark eye & intelligent expression. Her forehand is textbook with a reachy well arched neck into correct shoulder with good return of upper arm & her straight well boned front leads to tight feet. She has a super topline with strong loin, lovely depth of body & is well ribbed back. Her shapely quarters are well made & are muscled correctly, so sound out & back with a good footfall she cannot be overlooked. She was pushed hard all the way by her precocious kennel mate, but was more settled & won a well deserved RCC.

2nd. Hodge’s - Colkeririn Face To The Sun, JW ShCM . Pretty girl with an expressive dark eye, superb forehand & is very good through the body. She is very good behind & her movement is sound out & back with a ground covering stride & a little bit of style. I just preferred the head & expression of my winner but it was a case of splitting hairs.

3rd. Farleigh’s - Kinabula Young Gifted In Red

Open Bitch (13,5)

1st. Farleigh’s - Ch Kinabula Bin There Done That. Having given this lady a group 2 before it came as no surprise that I liked her, however she needed to be at the top of her game to win through on the day. She walked into the ring & is still my "goosebumps" girl, I just love everything about her! She has a head & expression to die for, a superb forehand, crested neck into clean shoulder, level topline, excellent depth of chest & spring of rib, strong loin, super front & feet & strong quarters. Her musculature was spot on & she was in the peak of physical fitness & glowed with health & vitality. She takes your breath away on the move so sound & true with reach & drive & a Joie de vivre attitude. I had no hesitation in awarding her the CC & BOB & was delighted to be told that she became the new breed record holder on the day having won her 41st CC. A true champion & wonderful ambassador for the breed.

2nd. Storey & Piehl’s - Kiromol Kendi JW ShCM. This little lady is "Naughty but nice"! She has a lovely head with expressive eye, super forehand, body shape, topline & excellent quarters. She was sound & true with a devil may care attitude, her handler should be congratulated on keeping her in check as she was certainly a girl that wanted to have fun in the sun on the day.

3rd. Storey & Piehl’s - Ch Kiromol Midsummer Spirit JW.
