Breed: Basset Griffon Vendeen (Petit)



PD (1, 0) 

1st: BARTLEY Mr T & Mrs D Erylan Zeus Roi Des Dieux, BP, well grown and furnished for age, balanced head of correct proportions with good ear length and placement, pleasing neck and top-line, rib-cage could extend a little further back, fair loin, stylish and active move, just a shade loose in front and would benefit from a little more power and drive at the rear end. 

JD (2, 0) 

1st: MCEWAN Mrs C Marunnel Orinoco, pleasing outline and proportions, typical balance and proportions in head, pleasing eye shape, placement and colour with good expression, fair balance of construction, rib extends well back, strong loin of good length, in fine condition, well presented and making the most of himself on the move. 

2nd: REID, Mr P & HUIKESHOVEN Ms G Abricot V. Tum-tums Vriendjes (Imp NLD), very typical in many respects, not quite the overall balance and style of the winner, pleasing head properties, solid temperament and active  mover. 

GD (1, 0) 

1st: BARTLEY Mr T & Mrs D Erylan Loki Maitre Du Mal, pleasing shape, outline and proportions, appealing head, eye and expression, fair, neck, ribbing and top-line, a little lacking in width and fill of fore-chest and would benefit from a slightly longer return of upper arm, active and stylish mover. 

PGD (2, 1) 

1st: HUNT Mrs M Soletrader Buzz Aldrin At Bondlea, well grown with good finish of body, ample strength and depth of body, well furnished, rib extends well-back, strong loin of good length, strong and sturdy quarters, pleasing head qualities, clean neck-line, firm top-line, well set and carried tail, pleasing mover. 

LD (1, 0) 

1st: PUCKETT Mr S & Mrs J Soletrader Bobs Your Uncle, pleasing example of the breed, oozing style and quality, well proportioned head with good balance of skull to muzzle, complimentary construction of his front and rear assemblies, pleasing neck and top-line, good ribbing, strong loin, typical gait with correct tail carriage on the move. 

OD (3, 1) 

1st: ROBERTSON, Mrs S & DOHERTY Mrs W Ch Soletrader Magic Mike, CC & BOB, pleased to see he went on to take the Hound Group and was sportingly withdrawn from the BIS competition. Very striking exhibit oozing breed type and quality, he is superbly presented and handled and simply could not be denied the class or his subsequent awards on the day. 

2nd: REID Mr P & Mrs D Maudaxi Tommy Holedigger, Res CC, robust and workmanlike appearance and construction, harsh weather-resistant coat, pleasing head properties, good loin and rib-cage, well held top-line, pleasing tail set and carriage, pleasing balance and construction, typical gait. 





PB (2, 0) 

1st: ROBERTSON, Mrs S & Mr O & ROBERTSON Miss E Soletrader Beatrix Potter, promising young female, feminine in build and outlook, typical body proportions and symmetry of outline, needs time to settle to the job but did enough to show her type and soundness on the move. 

2nd: MOULDING Miss K S Nykarth Perfect Moment, typical head properties, pleasing symmetry of body and outline with typical proportion, a little overawed on the day and could strengthen up a little in rear quarters. 

JB (1, 0) 

1st: 202 MCEWAN Miss C R Marunnel Miss Adelaide, presents and overall typical pattern with a typical build and symmetry of body, sturdy limbed with good bone, shows adequate depth and strength of body, nicely headed and moves a typical stride for the breed. 



PGB (2, 0) 

1st: SCOTT Mrs L Overbecks Kathy Tiere, typical overall pattern and build, pleasing construction and balance of body and outline, good coat texture and density, good ear placement, fluid and elastic stride with typical action and tail carriage. 

2nd: REID Mr P & Mrs D Maudaxi Pussy Galore, a little more upright and not quite as finished in body as the winner, pleasing head properties, typical outline and correct length of leg and ground clearance, pleasing coat texture and density, not quite the fluidity of stride of the winner. 

LB (5, 2)  

1st: BLAKE, Mr C & REID Mrs D Vilauddens Midsummer Madness (Imp), Res CC, feminine yet workmanlike appearance, ample depth and strength of body, pleasing cat, good, head, neck and top-line, ample ribbing, stylish, active and typical gait with good tail-set and carriage. 

2nd: REID Mr P & Mrs D Fox's Nightmare Jessica Biel At Maudaxi (Imp), pushed winner hard, pleasing outline and proportions, well made and sturdy body, pleasing texture and density of coat,  

3rd: MOULDING Miss K S Wizzkarth Meant To Be. 

OB (2, 0)  

1st: ROBERTSON, Mr O & ROBERTSON Miss E Ch Around Zlightly Different With Soletrader (Imp), CC, high quality exhibit of superior type and quality, and prime condition and top form, expertly presented by her young handler, found to be very pleasing in many respects and was a delight to judge. 

2nd: BLAKE Mr C Orleans V Tum Tums Vriendjes At Trezeguet (Imp), not quite the symmetry and flow of the winner, pleasing head properties, good eye and expression, pleasing coat texture and density, good ribbing and top-line, strong loin, a little upright in front assembly and would benefit from a little more length and fluidity of stride.
