Welsh Corgi (Cardigan)

JD(3) 1st Langford Caprian Challenger, only 6mo and felt he was developing well and showing real promise, growing in proportion and keeping his shape, skull has width with ears well placed, moderate stop and dark eyes of good shape, at this age he has sufficient forechest and his front assembly slightly bowed to accommodate it, ribcage is forming well and is carried back, hindquarters are defined and he steps out with purpose, RBD. 2nd James Caprian Dexter at Bwthyn, litter brother and built along similar lines, possibly carrying a touch more substance which at this stage makes him appear a little heavier on the move but time should resolve this, very little to choose between them. 3rd McIntosh Hova Bonde’s Knatterton. OD(3) 1st Essemhigh & Bishop Ch Brynlluan Bilbo Bagins, mature masculine lad carrying excellent substance, no mistaking his gender, width to flat skull with large ears well set, moderate stop and muzzle, strong neck, well moulded front assembly turning out just enough to accommodate feet, very well ribbed up and carried back to firm loin, powerful hindquarters, tidy tail carriage, steps out with purpose, BD & BOB. 2nd James Bwthyn All Rights Reserved, this lad scored here in length to ribcage, his head is well laid out, good forechest, reasonable topline and good tail carriage. 3rd Burgoyne & Goddard Waterdeep Ranger One. JB(3) 1st Langford Caprian The Vixen, so typy and very well balanced like her litter brothers in the earlier class, the most lovely eye and expression, admired her front and bone, ribs well developed and carried back, sound in action, feel sure her breeder will have much fun in the coming months with these litter mates, BB & BP. 2nd Head Kilvroch Mystikos for Millermead, 13mo and maturing well, eye toning with coat, feminine in outlook and soundly put together, decent front assembly and substance, well ribbed up and uses tail to advantage, RBB 3rd Froggatt Wildcard Queen of Clubs for Gerefa. PGB(1) 1st Price Belroyd Pemcader Menna, 9yo shown in good nick, head well laid out, clean eye, moderate stop, fairly straight front, well ribbed up and carried back, level topline, good definition to hindquarters and a sound free mover.
