SKC MAY 2018-NORFOLK TERRIERS Puppy Dog (4 entries, 2 absent) 1st. Smith’s Javidel Despicable May-forward boy for his age and looked particularly good in profile both standing and moving. Super temperament. Promising. 2nd. Atkinson’s Moortop Mymark Again- at just 6 months is only a baby so giving a lot away in age and maturity. Good type and a decent head. Junior Dog (1 entry) 1st. Gee’s Watercroft Calling Time-one with a good outline. Head developing well. Well presented. Post Graduate Dog (1 entry) 1st. Meldram’s Shersal Gold Charm-super temperament. Short of coat today which detracted. Nice tail carriage. Limit Dog (2 entries) 1st. Jenkins’ Kinsridge Witty Banter-what a lovely youngster. Caught my eye immediately with his lovely proportions, super presentation and great ring presence. On closer examination I loved his head and ears and his top line was excellent. In super hard condition. He possesses a lovely short body and yet he still manages to cover plenty of ground both standing and moving as he is correctly angulated. CC and BOB and went on to place 4th in a strong group. Very much on form. 2nd. Atkinson’s Charlie Blake at Moortop-heavier sort. Good coat, good condition, masculine head. Tail a touch low set. Open Dog ( 1 entry 1st. Hurrion & Standen’s Villassa Jack Be Quick-caught my eye today as he was nice and short, moved well up and back and had a good profile. Lovely temperament. Good head proportions, good coat and well handled. Res CC. Puppy Bitch (4 entries) Four promising youngsters in this class. 1st. Jenkins’ Kinsridge Chitchat-lovely type, very feminine, super head, good outline, lovely tail and carriage, delightful temperament and a good mover. Best puppy. 2nd. Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Back To Black-close up to winner, I liked her construction and movement and lovely profile movement. Just about to change her coat and will be one to watch with maturity. Junior Bitch ( 3 entries) 1st. Gee’s Watercroft Pink Fizz-good type, well presented, great temperament, lovely bite and assertive on the move. 2nd. Thompson-Morgan’s Villassa Jelligello-nice cobby bitch, head still needs to develop, super outline on the move, carrying a bit too much weight. Limit Bitch (2 entries) 1st. Gee’s Watercroft Gold Dust-this one was bang on form today. Super outline, great temperament, in great coat and condition and ticked all the boxes. Lovely head. Won the CC and made a nice pair with the dog in the BOB competition. 2nd. Meldram’s Purland Charmer at Shersal-a very workmanlike sort with honourable scars to prove it. Lacking furnishings but bags of attitude and jacket of good texture. Open Bitch (3 entries) 1st. Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Ovation-bags of animation and really well presented. Lovely head, good outline and covered the ground well. Res CC. 2nd. Phillips Ch Marchdens Look To The Sky For Blakens- beautiful type, lovely proportions and outline and a cracking head. Rear movement let her down today. Paul Eardley
