My thanks to the Committee for inviting me to judge at this prestigious Show.  Also to my two excellent Stewards and to the Exhibitors for a quality entry.

Vet (7.1)  1. Millington-Bott & Bott’s Sh Ch Thendara Pot Noodle JW  This 8 year old can still hold his own in top class company.  He is quality all through and can still show some of the youngsters how to move.  2  Nicholls’ Delsanto Snow Storm ShCM  Just short of 8 he has a lovely head and expression, good body properties and Gently sloping topline  3. Wood’s Reddins Falcon ShCM

MPD (5)  1 Edwards’ Gwendariff Ucan’tmissme.  This 7 month pup is aptly named.  He has a lovely head and expression, good reach of neck is well angulated front and rear and moved so steadily for one so young.  2 Pym, Bott & Milligan-Bott’s Thendara Marshmallow.  Another quality pup  with soft expression, good reach of neck.  Pleasing overall  shape  but although slightly older, not quite as developed as the winner but very promising.  3 Bott, Allen & Morgan’s Quensha Back to Basics.

PD (3.1)  1 Fauvrelle’s Oakdene Remy Martin (Imp Bel)  2 Richardson’s Gwendariff Im Fool Proof.  These two pups of just 7 months were Res and VHC in MP.   There is very little to choose between them.  Both have pleasing heads and overall construction.  Should have promising careers.

J (9.1) This was a strong class.   1 Russell’s Lynwood Hocus Pocus at Settesoli.  Lovely head and expression.  Deep in chest and well angulated.  Moved well.  2 Danks-Kemish’s Teleri Summertime Blues Avec Alofrana.  I really liked this boy and thought he would be my winner.  Such a stylish outline with a lovely head and expression, good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, good depth, gently sloping topline and well bent stifles but today his movement let him down.   3 Dewar’s   Gwendariff Willy Won’t He.

Y (10.1)  Holley’s Wynjill Snap Dragon  I liked this boy’s racy outline.  Lovely head with low set ears.  Good reach of neck and clean over the shoulders with depth of chest and well angulated.   Showed and moved well.  2 Bott’s Bardonhill Pearly Spencer  A compact dog but very stylish.  He has a balanced head, good reach of neck flowing into a gently sloping topline and well bent stifles.  Showed and moved well.  3  Russell’s Lynwood Hocus Pocus at Settesoli

N (5.1)  1 Bott’s Bardonhill Pearly Spencer.  2 Dewar’s Gwendariff Willy Wont He.  Balanced head with lovely expression.  Good reach of neck and depth of chest.  Strong in loin and good bend of stifle.  3  Hall’s Harreds Trevor.

G (13.3)  1 Muir & O’Connor’s Gwendariff I’m Coming Out JW.  Liked this boy’s overall shape.  He has a balanced head with appealing expression.  Good reach of neck, clean over the shoulders, gently sloping  topline and a gleaming mahogany coat.  2 Holley’s Wynjill

Winner Takes All JW.  This boy also oozes quality.  Slightly shorter caste than winner but same comments apply.  3  Lorrimer’s Kerrimore Classique JW.

PG (15.3)  1  Ciechonska’s Riverbrue Altissimo at Aoibheanne JW.  I have previously awarded this boy a BP.  He has grown into a handsome dog with a lovely head and expression.  Good reach of neck, good depth and well angulated fore and aft.  Moved and showed well.  I was pleased to award him the RCC.  2  Pym’s Thendara The Watchmaker.  Another stylish dog with lovely head and expression.  Good reach of neck with clean throat.   Well angulated and presented in good coat.  3 Byard, Milligan-Bott & Bott’s Oakdene Phenomenal with Thendara (Imp.Bel)

ML (8.3)  1 Heppell’s Deevonville Sontana ShCM  There is nothing to dislike about this boy – he is a good honest dog with a pleasing head, good reach of neck into well laid shoulders.  Has substance without being over done.  Showed well.  2  Tupper & Rosie’s   Staratlanta Elliott ShCM.   Similar in type to 1   Pleasing head, good depth of brisket and spring of rib.  Presented in full coat and moved soundly with a lashing tail.  3  Dank-Kemish’s Alolfrana Hotter Than U’Know JW

L 13.3)  1 Foster & Walsh’s Millcroft Chase The Moon To Shanoah   This stylish dog also appealed to me.  Medium sized with a lovely head and expression.  Good reach of neck flowing into well angulated shoulders, slightly sloping topline and well bent stifles.  Moved well.  2 Hemmings’ Orlanset the Rocker JW.  Built on slightly  bigger lines  but full of quality.  Pleasing head, good reach of neck, deep chest and well angulated.  He also moved well.       3  Edwards’ Gwendariff PS I Love You Bonhomie JW.

0 (8.2)  What a class – a privilege to judge.  1  Crocker’s Sh Ch Copper’s War of Roses (Imp.Swe)  I  have admired this dog from the ringside.  He has it all.   Lovely head with raised brows, which are lacking in a number of dogs these days.  Good reach of neck, good depth of chest and well angulated front and rear  On the move he covers the ground well and he has the ring presence to complete the picture.  I was pleased to award him the CC and with the full approval of my co-judge BOB.  We were delighted to see him go RBIS.  2  Bott’s ShCh Gwendariff D’Yo Know My Name By Bardonhill JW   This free moving dog is different in type to winner.  He has a chiseled head and soft expression.  Good depth of chest and well sprung ribs .  Strong quarters and was presented in full  coat.  3  Stockton’s Sh Ch Riverbrue Alchemist Admist Kespas JW
