Blackpool Championship Show

22nd June 2018

Dalmatian

Thoroughly enjoyed my first appointment at this level and have to comment on the sportsmanship of the Dalmatian folk, it is to be commended. Thank you for bringing your dogs under me today, there were some very close decisions.

Veteran D/B

1: Alexander’s CH OFFORDALE CHEVALIER JW. Beautiful 7 year old dog in fantastic condition. His outline is breath-taking and he is so typical. Well made and moves so well. I can understand why he has been such a consistent winner and he is a dog that the breed can be proud of.

2: Barrett & Fort’s CH SHULUNE ICE PHANTOM OF DALAMANTI SHCM, balanced in outline and sound and stylish on the move, so true coming and going and loving his day. Decent head and expression.

3: Gibbs’ CH PHANDANTE DIXIE LILY JW

Dogs

Minor pup

1 Gamble’s MULLABUOY GAMBLING BOY, very decent 7 month old presenting a clean and pleasing outline. His expression is good and he flows from neck into topline with well set tail. On the move he puts his feet in the right place and covers the ground with an easy stride in profile.in excellent condition, he has a rosy future ahead of him. Liked him a lot BP

2: Finlay’s DALFIN ACTUAL FACT, pleasing for size but going through a rangy stage at the moment which is to be expected. Decent head planes and good neck. Topline ok but he was a tad proud of his tail today. Easy stride and in super condition.

Puppy

1: Holland & Millington’s CAPEARLLA ITS ON ICE, pleasing for size and balanced in outline. Correct topline and well set tail. Strong neck and moved well in profile.

 2: Finlay’s DALFIN ACTUAL FACT

Junior

1: Quayle’s MILLBELLE KICKING HORSE AT CUBALIBRE, gorgeous liver boy who screams type. He presents such an eyecatching outline. Good for layback of shoulder, neck into topline and balanced in hind angulation. On the move he will never be overlooked where he is precise, stylish and has such an easy action. Certain champion. He carried on impressing in the challenge to win the CC and continued to win BOB over the delightful bitch.

2: Millington’s CAPEARLLA PURE DIAMONDS, another very pleasing boy with a super outline. Completely balanced in angulation and I liked his head and expression. He too, once settled, could carry a title but time is on his side.

3: Todhunter & Robinson’s MILLBELLE ROCKY MOUNTAIN

Yearling

1: Quayle’s MILLBELLE KICKING HORSE AT CUBALIBRE

2: Millington’s CAPEARLLA PURE DIAMONDS

3: Newton & Newton-O’Brien’s CHIZZMIC WHAT A CARRY ON

Post Graduate

1: Dore’s DALDIOR MR FOXTROT, 4 year old liver, decent head, correct topline and tailset. Pleasing outline

Limit

1: Whincup’s TAMILANDA MIDNIGHT LILLY JW, very smart in outline and uses himself so well in profile movement. Decent head and expression, good topline and well set tail. On the move he is precise on the out and back. In superb condition well muscled.

2: Croft & Cobb’s KALOKAIRIES BULLET PROOF, close up and similar remarks apply and I can see these two changing places on another day. Likes his head and expression, balanced outline and easy action. Just a little proud of his tail when it mattered today, but a very decent boy.

3: Neilson’s BARISCOT ARISTARCHUS MOONET JW SHCM

Open

1: Dunnachie’s CH DVOJICA VENDETTA, very decent dog of type and fully mature in ribbing. He presents a very pleasing outline and has an excellent topline and tailset. On the move he is precise on the out and back and this is where he clinched the class. Just lacked the sparkle in the challenge of the youngster and so had to bow down today. RCC

2: Neath-Duggan & Baker’s CH BUFFREY INCOGNITO BY DALLEAF JW, very stylish dog who is so very eyecatching. His head and expression is simply delightful. Still young and he was just a little light in body today. So eyecatching in profile but was slightly erratic going away today which was such a shame.

3: Page’s WINFLASH HUGO BOSS

Bitches

Puppy

1: Barrett’s DALAMANTI RUBY RIDER

2; Morgan’s MALBREOW WISH UPON A STAR, two young babies both showing signs of promise and it was performance on the day that split them. Both have pleasing heads and typical outlines. The winner was stronger behind today.

Junior

1: Hobbs & Whiting’s RAPANOOEY RASCALLION, liver with a pleasing head and expression. Uses her tail well which is well set. Covers the ground in profile.

Yearling

1: Neath-Duggan & Baker’s BUFFREY HANKY PANKY BY DALLEAF JW, delightful bitch, so full of type. Beautifully ribbed, excellent neck, topline and tailset. Moves with animation and style and has an easy action. Her head and expression are delightful. She totally fills the eye and on this form will be hard to resist. A certain champion in the making and one that we will hear a lot more of I’m sure. Liked her enormously. CC

Post Graduate

1. Gardner’s DVOJICA CHILLI CHUTNEY FOR WRENDRAGGE JW, Liver girl with a delightful head and expression, superb outline, neck topline and tailset which was carried so well. Won the class on her easy, ground covering action. Super for ribbing and in excellent condition

2: Quayle’s CHIZZMIC CARRY ON WITH CUBALIBRE JW, close up and she too is a super young bitch. Super head and expression.  Good topline and tailset. Ground covering in profile, just a little erratic going away today which cost her.

3: Brennan’s DAYMADALS IN THE MOOD JW SHCM

Limit

1: Lamb’s DALPETRO DIAMOND JW, super smart and stylish in outline, Very pleasing for head and expression. Good length to her neck flowing into super topline, well set tail. Pleasing angulation behind. Like her

2: Cuthbertson’s ELLEMSTRA LITTLE MIX WITH KALSIDONI, close up and every similar in type. Liked her very much too and she could change places on another day. Very balanced in angulation and balanced in outline.

3: Cooper’s CHARMINDALS PUSSY GALORE

Open

1: Dodd & Pearson’s INT CH, IR CH & CH KELEVRA CLASSIC CLICHÉ JW SHCM, close up between the first three. Super outline very pleasing for head and expression. Strong neck and topline, well set tail which she carried well. On the move she keeps an outline and covers the ground. An excellent bitch of obvious quality. RCC

2: Page’s WINFLASH PRADA CANDY KISS very pleasing outline and she has a great topline and tailset. Will change places on many occasions and I won't disagree when she does. Just felt she was a tad loose in front today.

3: Gardner’s CH DVOJICA BLACK AGAIN AT WRENDRAGGE JW SHCM
