Irish Water Spaniels

Dogs

Limit

1: Andrews & Blades’ ELDARRAH CLASH OF KINGS FOR ANTDELA. Super dog for type, balanced in outline, masculine head of good shape and delightful expression. Front assembly pleases, strong topline and balanced behind. A tad proud of his tail. Moves out well and covers the ground in profile. Well presented coat of the correct texture. Title holder I’m sure. RCC

2: Denbigh’s MALANIS THE LAST STRAW, pleasing for size and has a masculine head. Not the front of the winner but he too has a strong topline and well set tail which he carries correctly. In good condition, move ok on the out and back, but could just reach a tad more in profile

3: Sclater’s MALANIS QUARTER MASTER

Open

1: Carruther’s SH CH GLOI DUNN ALL OR NOTHING AT STANEGATE, exceptional dog of immense quality. His head and expression are divine, strong neck into firm topline and well set tail which he carries correctly. Presented beautifully. His temperament is so typical and he uses himself on the move. Class Act indeed, CC & BOB

2: Davies’ STANEGATE FLY ME TO THE MOON WITH SHELSEIVAD, balanced masculine dog of quality. Upstanding and he has a good expression. Well made all through just a tad erratic going away today.

3: Rance’s DET/IR SAH CH WEEMAES PIPERS PIPING AT MAYFRED

Bitches

P puppy

1: McCallum’s WEEMEAS WONDERFUL REMARK, Delightful 9 month old baby who has a super shape and very pleasing head and expression. So well behaved for one so young and she put on a good show moving on the right track. Balanced in angulation and showing a lot of promise. Her coat is coming on. BP

Limit

1: Costley’s WATERFORDS PURPLE RAIN AT AXLEHURN Totally balanced and won the class on her movement today. Pleasing in head and topline, balanced in outline and strong topline. Coat of excellent texture and presented beautifully. CC

2: Wilson’s ELDARRAH SONG OF FIRE AND ICE, really liked this bitch for type and shape, she was very erratic today on the move and this cost her which is such a shame. Liked her head and expression which was the best of the class, she too had a strong topline and her day will come as she is very worthy. Returned to the challenge and decided that she could put her feet in the right place and so won the RCC.

3: Cunningham’s FOULBY FIDELMA OF ELVANDAR

Open

1:  Walton’s STANEGATE SHIVA SHCM, pleasing for type. Head shape ok with decent expression. Strong topline and well set tail.
