Veteran Dog (1,0)

1. Smith and Murray’s Northern Torpedo

Impressive dog of good substance. Well proportioned head with pleasing curve to muzzle. Frowning brows, ear set level with eye. Neck strong, medium length and arched. Shoulders sloping. Well boned, strong legs. Deep chest, well sprung ribs. Ribs carried well back. Strong level back. Hind quarters well angulated, short and strong. Coat well prepared, weatherproof and excellent colour. Strong round feet. Moved with purpose, straight for and aft with some roll. BV DCC BOB


Junior Dog (2,0)

1. Way’s Eald Village Poacher for Shuvick

One year old, still a little light in build. Head of good proportions. Long ears set level with eyes. Correct bite. Fine arched neck in to well laid shoulders. Medium legs. Deep chest, needs to broaden a little. Ribs carried back, moderate loin. Strong level back. Thighs long. Moved straight with confidence. Strong feet, well set tail.

2. Smith’s Pindani Twist of Gold

Another youngster with some growing to do. Attractive head of good type, long arched neck. Correct bite. Well angulated sloping shoulders, Legs quite short. Chest could be deeper, reasonable width. Back well developed, long loin. Well angulated hind quarters. Lots of character and moves well. Coat well prepared good texture, a little darker than 1.


Post Graduate Dog (2,0)

1. Swietalski’s Sovaroma Relatively Frank With Bowswizzler.

Strong Sussex head with good depth of muzzle and pleasing curve to skull. Correct bite. Strong arched neck. Well laid shoulders over strong legs. Good depth of chest with nicely curved ribs. Strong back, level topline, not too much loin. Well angulated and well muscled hind quarters. Strong legs with good bone. Round feet. Excellent coat and colour. Moved decisively, true fore and aft. RDCC.


2. Perkins’ Deanway Storm Petrel at Quintic

Decent sussex head, short muzzle. Well defined occiput. Well arched medium length neck. Long sloping shoulders, short strong legs. Good deep chest, well sprung ribs. Strong back, short in the loin. Good hindquarters. Strong round feet. Good coat, a little darker than 1. Moved well.


Limit Dog (2,0)

1. Graves’ Norriss Northern Wizard

Attractive classic Sussex head. Good curve to skull. Ears set on at eye level. Correct bite. Arched neck of moderate length. Nicely angulated forequarters with strong sloping shoulders. Short strong legs. Moderate depth of chest.  Strong body with rather long loin. Good angulation to hindquarters with muscular thighs. Tight feet.  Good set of tail. Covers the ground well. Good close coat.


2. Penneman’s Labry Berry Brezhnev ATC(A01616RUS)

Strong head, skull rather rounded, good stop. Ears set on level with eyes. Correct bite. Good arched neck. Chest deep but a little flat sided. Strong body, level topline. Well angulated hind quarters. Strong legs, good bone. Weatherproof coat. Fair movement.


Open Dog (3,2)

1.Hipgrave’s Bethryn Night On The Town

Strong masculine head with deep muzzle, pleasing skull shape. Strong, slightly arched neck. Strong forequarters, felt shoulders were rather upright. Strong bone. Deep chest, rather wide. Strong body, good build. Thighs well muscled. Strong hocks, good sized feet. Good coat and colour, Well set tail. Fair movement but with a tendency to pace.


Veteran Bitch (2,0)

1. Wakefield’s Sh Ch Norriss Northern Cassandra

Feminine head with moderate stop. Muzzle sloping in to strong neck. Ears well set on. Shoulders strong and sloping. Good bone to short strong legs. Chest deep and good spring of rib carried well back. Strong back and loin. Hind quarters well angulated. Strong hocks. Round feet. Moved steadily.


2. Swietalski’s Quintic Vogue of Bowswizzler

Larger framed bitch. Well proportioned head with good expression, strong jaws. Ears well set on. Pleasing curve to skull. Shoulders well laid and of good length. Strong legs. Chest could be deeper, but with good width. Ribs carried well back to short loin.  Hind quarters well angulated. Thighs well muscled in hard condition. Good coat and colour with feathering. Lively mover with good drive.


Junior Bitch (3,0)

1. Mercer & Thomas’ Stormacre Unlikely Angel

Pretty and feminine with appealing expression. Balanced head. Ears well set on. Long arched neck. Moderately angulated forequarters. Strong straight front with good bone for age. Chest of good depth and width. Back ribs a little short. Good angulation to rear quarters. Strong feet. Silky coat of very good colour. Movement not quite settled.


2. Davey’s Eald Village Scandal

Well proportioned head. Skull with gentle curve, moderate stop, brows frowning. Kindly expression. Ears well set on. Well laid shoulders over quite short strong legs. Good depth of chest carried well back. Strong straight back. Nicely angulated hind quarters. Strong hocks on quite short legs. Smooth coat of good colour. A little short for me.


3. Moon’s Deanway Sugar Plum Fairy.             


Post Graduate Bitch (1,0)

1. Bennett’s Sovaroma Winter Gem

Well balanced head with kindly expression. Ears well set on. Decided Occiput. Medium length neck with good arch. Long sloping shoulders over strong legs Deep chest with good spring of rib. Strong body and loin. Strong hocks and feet. Coat of good texture with true golden liver colour. Moved very well.


Limit Bitch (4,0)

1. Alderson’s Meggamooch Tango

Good proportioned head, ears well set on. Good stop and frown. Kindly expression. Strong slightly arched neck. Good length shoulders and upper arm, well angulated. Legs short with good bone. Well padded feet. Well shaped deep chest. Gradual slope up to strong loin. Strong Level body. Nicely angulated hind quarters, strong hocks. Golden liver coat and colour. Positive movement. RBCC


2. Davey’s Eald Village Gossip

Balanced head, with good shape to skull, defined stop. Eyes could be darker. Strong arched neck. Long sloping shoulders, good angulation. Short strong legs. Chest not quite deep enough for me, but good spring of rib. Strong back, long loin. Well angulated hind quarters. Muscular thighs. Large feet. Good coat and colour. Moved well.

Open Bitch (3,1)

1. Smith’s Ch Pindani Myrtle JW

Typical feminine head, strong muzzle and deep stop, ears set on at eye level. Strong neck leading in to deep chest of correct width. Good lay of shoulders & front angulation. Ribs carried well back.  Level topline leading in to muscular loin. Well angulated hindquarters in harmony with forequarters. Large round feet. Tail well set on, Movement free and true. Coat silky, close and lovely colour. Topline maintained on the move with correct head & tail carriage. BCC


2. Ashcroft and Boswell’s Marquell Exclamation Mark after Torshca

Very feminine head with good profile. Good ear set. Strong arched neck. Gently sloping shoulders. Chest deep with good width. Ribs extend well back to strong loin. Correct tail set. Good width of thigh. Good coat and colour. Moved well.
