DARLINGTON CHAMP SHOW 16TH SEPT 2018

BRACCO ITALIANO

VETERAN DOG/BITCH

1st Carr’s IR SH CH LAUMIDORN RACHEL CARSON Sh CM

Overall a pleasing bitch, she has good head proportions with a kind expression and good eye colour with desired chiselling below. Has a square outline, correct shoulder placement and adequate depth of chest. Ample rear angulation, strong over loin and correct tailset. Would prefer her more positive in front movement. In good condition for age. Best Veteran.

OPEN DOG (4)

1st Dodds & Pearson’s VDH & IR CH BRACCORIONS JUNO WHAT

Very pleasing in head with desired divergent planes and evident median line and deep muzzle. When stacked he presents a square outline and has good balance throughout. Powerful neck flowing into strong shoulders and sound front assembly with well sprung ribs. A free and stylish mover at one with his handler. Stood alone today but a very worthy Best Dog.

PUPPY BITCH (3)

1st Scourfield & Kantor’s YOU CAN SPEND THE NIGHT WITH DANTON

I was really taken with this quality youngster. Lovely expression and correct head planes, occiput well defined. Good straight front assembly and adequate rear angulation and stood on good hocks. Excels in overall body shape and strode out soundly and confidently for a youngster with lovely head carriage. I hope she develops well and fulfils her early promise. Pleased to award her Res BB and BP.

2nd Dodds & Pearson’s VISSIA DEL TAVULIDDARO

Another pleasing youngster. I preferred the head proportions of my winner. She is of good outline with desired square appearance and adequate tuck up. Well laid shoulders and good bend to stifle. A steady mover with true action both out and back.

3rd Angus’s BRACCORION’S LIVIN IT UP

JUNIOR BITCH (2)

1st Chadwick’s GUNSYN LITTLE LIES

A typical and feminine bitch, with good head planes and correct eye colour. Overall a pleasing type with good body proportions. Good depth to chest and adequate ribbing. Strong over loin and good rear angulation. Tail carriage detracts on the move and was tending to pace today.

POST-GRAD BITCH (1)

1st Nagy-Kovencz POLCEVERA’S CORA

A mixed class here. My first won on her overall shape and outline. Scores in head and expression. I liked her overall shape and balance with good rear angulation. She is a rather untidy on her underline at the moment. Had powerful movement with good rear drive to win this class.

2nd Roden’s VALCOR PRINCESS PADME

Pleasing in body proportions and well made throughout. She needs to be more refined in head, and is a little overdone and masculine for me. Correct forehand and well laid shoulders and has good bone. Strong rear quarters with powerful loin and moved soundly once settled.

3rd Hayes’ BRACCORIONS JUST AS YOU ARE AT ELFRINDEW

OPEN BITCH (4)

1st Bell & Maddox OWLSPOINT QUEEN OF TROUBLE

A bitch of lovely type and substance. She has the best of heads with good width to foreface and correct planes. Has correct earset and good leathers. Presents a correct square outline in profile. Strong rear quarters, with well developed thighs. Her true movement is a pleasure to watch, she strides out confidently with excellent head carriage and a powerful rear drive off strong hocks. Presented in hard muscular condition and gleaming coat. Pleased to award her BOB
