The Chinese Crested Club of Great Britain Breed Championship Show.

15th April 2018.

I would like to thank the members for the opportunity to judge this lovely breed. I would like to thank all the exhibitors for the sportsmanlike way in accepting the placing, for their entries and support. I also must thank my ring stewards who kept everything running so efficiently. The overall quality of the entrants was very pleasing, unfortunately not enough awards to hand out. The dog and bitch CC winners were outstanding examples of the breed. Pleased to see that all dogs had well presented skin or coat.

MPD: (2/1a).1. Hellmuth’s Shengson First ‘N Foremost: 7 month puppy dog, hairless dog Lovely expression, clean chiselled head, good ear set, nice reach of neck sloping into strong shoulders, straight front. Crest beginning at stop tapering down neck, Good straight front correct hare feet, socks slightly above pastern, elbows close to body, level topline good skin good bend of stifle, moved well.

PD: (4/0a).1. Payne & Dunlop’s: Habiba as You Were: Very eye catching puppy dog, pleasing head, clean chiselled head, alert, lovely expression, good ear set, nice dark eye, dark nose, good reach of neck, good shoulders well ribbed back, Nice straight front legs, strong pasterns with elongated hare feet, well balanced - level topline, firm rear with good muscle for age, sound free mover with plenty of reach and drive. (BPD). Best Puppy in Show. 2. Lee’s: Gizooty’s John Wayne with Marshdae: B/w powder puff just needs time to settle. Very pleasing well chiselled head, good dark eye correct bite, good clean neck free from throatiness, neck sloping gracefully into strong shoulders, Good straight front legs with strong pasterns with hare feet. Elbows tight to body, level topline unfortunately tail flying high. 3. Piper’s: Baron Winning Smile for Zanjero (Imp Brs).

JD: (6/1a). 1. Hinton’s: Ajatiaza’s Lover Boy at Cheeswood: Well chiselled head, correct scissor bite, eyes dark almond and medium sized, good ear set, muzzle slightly tapering. Neck clean and free from throatiness, sloping into clean shoulders, levelling into a well laid back. Crest beginning at stop tapering down neck. Good strong front pasterns with hare feet. Good skin. Good clean lines well balanced good strong movement. 2. Dixon’s: Golden Gate Heybett Avec Debrita (Imp Svk): Another fine specimen of the breed, Good head with a pleasing expression. Correct bite, nice dark medium almond shape eyes. Good ear set, neck free from throatiness, long and sloping into strong shoulders levelling into a well laid back. Level topline good tail carriage, correct hare feet. Good skin. Well balanced with good hind quarters. 3. Lee’s: Gizooty’s John Wayne with Marshdae.

YD: (3/0).1. Knowles: Paraiansoez Innuendo at Jhansi JW: B/w hairless. Nice chiselled head good dark eye well balanced and proportioned body with deep chest, elbows tight to body, straight front, socks stopped above pasterns, well laid shoulders, well proportioned in height and length. Good angulation, lovely skin top condition, liked this boy, nice to see crest beginning at stop tapering down neck, socks stopped above pasterns, sound free mover with reach and drive. 2. Boden’s: Lunacrest among the Shooting Stars: pleasing head, arched neck. Good straight front, hare feet, deep chest with good rear angulation, level topline and happy tail carriage, well balanced, retaining his topline, moved with ease. 3. McFarlanes: Tequila Surprise.

MD: (3/0). 1. Hellmuth’s: Shenson First ‘N Foremost. 2. Masters & Shakeshaft’s: Doucai’s Show Boy: b/w hairless chiselled head kind dark eye soft expression, cobby: deep chest, straight front, elbows close to body, good bend of stifle, hair foot. Level topline with good tail set on movement. 3. McFarlanes: Rum and Coke.

ND: (3/0). 1. Crow’s: Estillinis Silver Surfer At casacavallo: m/w hairless. Well chiselled head, pleasing expression dark eye, good straight front, good skin, level topline with high tail set well balanced good strong movement. 2. Dowsett’s: Winterkloud Gingerbread By tteswood: Good head with a pleasing expression. Correct bite, nice dark medium almond shape eyes. Good ear set, neck free from throatiness, long and sloping into strong shoulders levelling into a well laid back. Moved with plenty of drive. 3. McFarlanes: Rum and Coke.

GD: (4/0). 1. Crow’s: Estillinis Silver Surfer At casacavallo. 2. Rees: Parcauwen Secret Diamond: powder puff nice head, cheeks tapered cleanly into the muzzle correct bite, good dentition, dark eye, good ear placement. Good neck reaching into strong shoulders, good front, moved well retaining his topline. Good clean coat. 3. Piper’s: Anna Sky Kennel Fusion Hot Man of Zanjero (Imp Rus) JW.

PGD: (4/0). 1. Barker’s: Goldamulet Amber Tone: cream/white Powder puff What a charmer-Full of character, alert expression Good head dark medium almond size eyes, stop slightly pronounced. His lips tight and thin, good ear placement, medium neck, well laid shoulders tight elbows front well balanced level topline sound and stylish on move. 2. Boden’s: Ceffidax Guilding Spirit: hairless well chiselled head, good bite, well muscled neck, strong front, and good angulated hare feet. Good depth of chest fine smooth skin. Moved okay. Preferred no1’s movement. 3. Godfrey & Peacock’s: Zerachiel happy Days.

MLD: (4/0).1.Oliver’s: Ynchreenoo Boayl Fahrane at Sarelidan JW: Blue hairless. Nice chiselled head good dark eye well balanced and proportioned body with deep chest, elbows tight to body, straight front, well laid shoulders good skin, good bend of stifle sound free mover with reach and drive.2. Crow’s: Estillinis The Huntsman at Casacavallo JW (Imp Swe): Mahogany hairless, clean chiselled head, good ear set, nice reach of neck sloping into strong shoulders, straight front. Elbows close to the body, good bend of stifle nice straight hocks. Just carrying his tail high on movement. 3. Masters: Esquimaux Skin Deep.

LD: (5/0). A very strong class tight decision between my first three. 1. Higgs: Touch Beauty Pride of the Motherland: Clean chiselled head, correct scissor bite, muzzle slightly tapering, lovely dark eye, nice expression, good ear set he is fine to medium bone Neck clean and free from throatiness, sloping into clean shoulders, straight front, elongated hare feet, socks stopped above pasterns, deep chest elbows close to body, good bend of stifle sweeping smoothly into straight hocks, level topline carried his tail gracefully. Preferred movement of 1. 2. Kempster’s: Jamming’s Exclusive to Oolagha (Imp Fin): Very eye catching young dog. Showing off, his soft veiled, flowing coat. Good dark eyes well chiselled head, good scissor bite and clean dentition, lips tight and thin. Good strong neck sloping into well angulated shoulders level topline straight front and hare feet. Sound quarters front and rear well balanced dog moving with ease, just dropping ear set slightly. 3. Loader’s: Habiba King Fu Panda to Kettrice. Like this dog unfortunately not moving as well as he could.

OD: (5/1a). 1. Klerk’s: Habiba Veni Vidi Vici Dutch Jnr CH: Stunning dog caught my eye as soon as he entered ring good head pleasing eye good bite strong neck well placed shoulders, Beautiful long flowing crest. good strong front pasterns with elongated hare feet, elbows close to body, plenty of depth and width of chest moderate tuck up, strong bend of stifle rump well rounded and muscular, level topline good tail carriage, balanced hindquarters, good smooth skin well balanced, moving with ease lovely movement front and rear. (DCC). Reserve Best In Show. 2. Olivers: Ynchreenoo Condoo JW: Another good example of the breed, very pleasing head, well chiselled head, muzzle tapering slightly, correct bite, good dark eyes, good clean neck free from throatiness, neck sloping gracefully into his shoulders. Level topline good front and rear movement well developed stifle with straight hocks, moved with ease, parallel from all angles with correct reach and drive. Pleased to award him RDCC. 3. Knowles: Liddyleaze Gothic Storm over Jhanchi.

VETD: (3/0). 1. Dowsett: Ch Doonbeg Bete Noir Via Tteswood CW12, JW, SHCM: 9 yr black-white powder-puff, well chiselled head good bite lovely expression and ear set, dark eye good neck reaching into strong shoulders good front nice bend of stifle with straight hocks. Well balanced with a nice flowing movement. Immaculate coat. (Best Veteran Dog). 2. Hockhold: Ch Habiba Causing Uproar: Blue Hairless. Pleasing head and expression. Good straight front, elbows close to body, level topline good bend of stifle moved well. Looking happy while showing, just slightly over in weight.

VID: (1/0).1.Hockhold’s: Habiba Black by Demand: 13yr blue hairless, lovely expression good head and ear set nice straight front good hare feet. Level topline nice bend of stifle good tail set. Moved superbly, for his age.

MPB: (2/1a). 1. Routledge: Pufflepaws Mz Rumpleteazer: B/w hairless 9 months. Sweet feminine head, correct bite, dark eye, arched neck into sloping shoulder, nice straight front elongated hare feet, level topline, good tail carriage, moved well.

  PB: (3/0). 1. Dixon’s: Glorious Yasmine Heybett Avec Debrita (Imp Svk).dark mahogany hairless. Another stunning pup. Pleasantly sound to go over and well shown. Immaculate Lovely size and balanced, really liked her head with a soft expression, correct bite, dark eye, well set ears that were excellent for size and carriage, alert, Level topline, good hind quarters nice bend of stifle, moved well. (Best Puppy Bitch). 2. Godfrey’s & Peacocks: Scherzando Pied Rock: b/w powder puff nice head, dark eye good neck reaching into strong shoulders good front well balanced level topline with a nice flowing movement. 3. Routledge: Pufflepaws Mz Rumpleteazer.

JB: (3/0). 1. Higg’s: Fairy Vom Apfelland: mahogany hairless good size and well balanced, soft expression, correct bite, alert, straight in front and good bone strong pasterns with hare feet nice length of neck, deep chest, clean smooth skin. Level topline well set tail carriage, good turn of stifle, movement good. Very showy. 2. John’s: Valkrest Indianapolis: b/w powder puff smaller than 1. Good head, dark eye good neck reaching into strong shoulders good front well balanced with a nice flowing movement good texture to coat. 3. Cahill’s: Konishiki Blue Jean at Valsharess.

YB: (2/0). 1. Higg’s: Fairy Vom Apfelland. Difficult to choose between the first and second. 2. Panayiotis: Ynchreeno Las NY Paist: b/w hairless. Finer than 1. Well chiselled head, clean cheeks and refined muzzle good bite, correct earset, strong arched neck, Good straight front correct hare feet, good ribbing well back, strong loin level topline moved well.

GB: (2/0).1. McFarlanes: Zerachiel Private Dancer of Tramarllan JW ShCm: b/w hairless nice head, dark eye good front well balanced with a nice flowing movement. 2. Birkin’s: Landkris Felicita (Imp). White hairless good pleasing head, cheeks well tapered into muzzle, good bite, good length of neck, nice straight front, just moved slightly wide coming back.

PGB: (3/0).1. John’s: Valkrest Berbly Hills: B/w. powder puff. Pretty head correct shape, dark eyes, clean cheeks and refined muzzle good dentition, good reach of neck into strong shoulders, level topline, sound and stylish on the move.2. Leto’s: Kiwango Free Thinker: White hairless pleasing elongated skull equal muzzle and good chiselling, good reach of neck good straight front good depth of chest, moderate tuck up. Moved well. 3. McFarlanes: Zerachiel Exotic Dancer.

MLB: (7/2a). 1. Knowles: Jhanchi Let Me Entertain You JW: Mahogany hairless. Presenting a pleasing profile, good head rounded skull, dark eye cheeks cleanly chiselled, slight stop, perfect clean mouth. Kind dark almond eye and good ear carriage, arched neck into good shoulders, deep chest tight elbows, level topline good depth of ribs tail set well and carried proudly. Good turn on stifle and hocks well down moved with style. 2. Birkin’s: Xantana Dom Risorto (Imp): Hairless. Very feminine, good head with pleasing expression, well chiselled head, medium neck, deep chest and tight elbows, good straight front and hare feet, level topline and tuck up and has a well rounded rump moved well back. 3. John’s: Iakarandas Hera.

LB: (9/4a). 1. Rees: Parcauwen Secret Sapphire: White/ Powder puff. Very nice type, well balanced head, well chiselled, correct scissor bite, muzzle tapering slightly, with thin tight lips, good ear set, dark eye lovely expression. Clean neck and well laid shoulders, tight elbows and straight front, Good level topline with correct tail carriage. Good bend of stifle sweeping smoothly into straight hocks. Well balanced with a nice long flowing movement showing off her coat. 2. Godfrey’s & Peacocks: Scherzando Secret garden: b/w hairless. Good head with a pleasing expression, nice dark eye, well chiselled head good scissor bite, good reach of neck sloping into strong shoulders, good straight front, strong pasterns, hare feet, level topline moved well. 3. Grange: Harriet Take Me Away To Kojiki JW.

OB: (5/1a). 1. Dunlop & McClellan’s: Ch Reign On: Cream/Mahogany hairless. Wow stunning bitch caught my eye. What a dream to go over. Lovely size and balanced, stunning head with lovely expression dark eye and correct bite, nice arched neck, straight in front shoulders well placed and firm in body, plenty of depth and width of chest, level topline, enough length of back to give her correct outline firm rear with good length of stifles giving plenty of drive tail set well and carried proudly. Good turn on stifle and hocks well down moved with style. Front and back, movement effortless. BCC. Best in Show. 2. Wilson’s: Habiba Chasing Rainbows: lovely type previously RCC just unfortunate to meet 1 today. mahogany hairless another good example of the breed, sound quality of this very feminine good head well chiselled, correct bite, nice dark eye, good ear set, correct scissor bite, nice length of neck into sloping shoulders, nice straight front, good hare feet, fine smooth skin and warm to touch, level topline good hind quarters, good tail carriage free flowing movement with good reach of drive well deserved RCC. 3. John’s: Moonswift Francesca. VetB:(0). VinB: (1/0). 1. Richardson’s: Iliana White Opal. 12 yd white powder puff another lovely specimen of the breed very feminine head dark eye coat, full dentition, good front with well laid shoulders, level topline, bend of stifle, Good bend of stifle sweeping smoothly into straight hocks moved well lovely coat bend of stifle straight front movement drive from behind and tail carriage . Best veteran in show.
