I would like to thank the committee of Blackpool & District Canine Society for their kind invitation to judge, and to the exhibitors for allowing me the pleasure of your lovely dogs.

1ST MIZANI DIORO OVER SAVIO (MISS J, MRS L & MRS M NELSON, FERGUSON & BARKER)

What a little show off, just fell for this 9 month old brown roan dog, he certainly made his presence felt. He looked a picture on the stack, so balanced and sound for type. Loved his overall size and shape. When stood he has the typical square outline, with correct body proportions and leg length. He has a pleasing masculine head, which shows good balance and shorter foreface, nearly round dark eye, giving a kind yet alert expression. His body is well developed, with good depth and short coupled. He held a firm topline both stood and on the move. Well angulated hindquarters. Shown with a super coat of even woolly curls with a good undercoat. Moving out true and with plenty of drive – BOB, BP, BJ

2ND MIZANI DIORBE OF SLOVAKIA (MS P MCALLISTER)

Another very pleasing 12 month old O/W dog, with so many good qualities and breed virtues. Today seemed to have his silly head on. He is a smart young dog with good body proportions and square in outline. He has a masculine, well balanced head, with the slight divergent planes and well placed ears and those lovely eyes with the hint of mischief. He has enough depth through the body and the desired narrowness. Today losing his topline at times, well bent stifles and strode out on the move.

1ST GAESTEN SUPERSACHIE (MRS L MCWHINNIE)

This brown dog is looking fabulous at nearly 10 years old. He is up to size but well balanced and of good proportions. He has a pleasing masculine head, with a lovely dark eye. Clean short neck, good depth to the ribcage, good oval boned limbs. He held a firm topline both stood and on the move. Moderate rear angulation. Shown with a good woolly curl to the coat. Not quite the animation on the move today

1ST GAESTEN ZIPPY ZINGO AT NELBEKIO RL4 (MISS J NELSON)

7 year old brown dog in fine fettle and looking the part. He has the typical rustic appearance with good balance and construction. When stacked he shows to be square in outline with the desired narrowness, and correct proportions. Flowing from nose to tail. Liked his masculine head, dark round eye and kind expression. Strong neck, firm topline, chest down to the elbow and short coupled. Well bent stifles which he put to good use on the move. Presented in good condition and his coat having a good ring curl. He has a lovely side gait, showing to be free and driving, lost out today to his kennel mate, preferring his precision in rear movement -RBOB

2ND GAESTER JUST JAGO AT JOYDON (MR D H LIGHTFOOT)

An 8 year old dog, who shows himself off with confidence and style. Really like him for his overall balance and type. He has the correct body proportions, and leg length. He has an impressive outline when stood. His head is masculine and well balanced. Chest is down to the elbow and has the desired narrowness. Well angulated hindquarters. Shown in a coat with a good curl. Not the fluid of movement of the winner today

1ST CANNA DELLA FORESTA MAGICA (MRS L MCWHINNIE)

A fun spirited 11 month old brown roan bitch, having a wail of a time, but not making it the easiest to assess! She has a good overall body shape, and square outline, still needing to mature in body. She has a feminine head, correct eye shape with a keen and alert expression. Chest with enough depth, straight front with nice oval bone. Moderate rear angulation. Coat curls a little open at the moment. Moving with drive – BOS puppy

1ST TIMTAURN TRIBELLA WITH AQUALOOP (MR R E & MRS S M WILLS)

Very shapely 19 month old brown & white bitch. She is full of confidence and enjoyed showing her socks off! She has a lovely happy and lively demeanour. Would not want anymore of her but found her to have a lovely outline. She has a square outline in silhouette and has the correct length of leg. Well proportioned head, with the slight divergent planes, and kind round eye. She has a lovely flow from nose to tail. Good depth to the brisket, straight forelegs with good oval bone. Liked her hindquarters, showing good width of thigh and bend of stifle. Her coat has a woolly curl, but a little more open. Striding out well on the move, with animation and drive. BB & BOS

2ND NELBEKIO BE IT BAMBALINA (MISS M, MRS K & MR B BRANSBY)

Another lovely brown and white bitch coming up 2 years of age. A very neat package with many breed virtues. Liked her for her overall size and shapely outline when stood. She displays the desired squareness to her profile. Feminine head, which is well balance. Good depth through the body, firm topline, moderate rear angulation. Super tight woolly curl to the coat which follows her body lines. Moves with ease, just a little close behind today. Well handled by her young charge, who got the best out of her - RBB
