My thanks to exhibitors for a lovely entry and apologies for the long wait. It was a hot day and I feel every dog coped very well.

Small and cobby, with good rib and coupling. Excellent tail set. Typical profile when set up properly but tending to over stretch.

Slightly longer and rangier than 1. Good head and eye. Good tail set. Preferred movement of 1.

Class 577 OD (6 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 1985 CHEATHAM Mr & Mrs A J & L A Aradet Action Man Sh.CM

What a cracker! Small, cobby and square. Balanced throughout, both static and on the move. Equal angles show well on his crisp, precise movement. In good coat with requisite jabot and culottes intact. I understand he is now titled. CC and BOB

2nd: 2001 MCLACHALN Misses L & J Rus Ch Beachview's Independence Day (Imp USA)

A very different style of dog and an excellent showman. Fabulous silhouette. Not quite the balance in head of 1, with a longer foreface and very close ears. However, overall proportions are good, the bone is good for size, the ribbing is good. I would prefer the coat essentials to be left intact.

3rd: 1997 MANCE Mrs J S Ch Ryeman Robin

Class 580 PB (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 1991 FORKNALL Mrs D Blackshuck Purple Audace at Avidore

Still a baby and getting used to the ring. Promising through body and head. Well set high ears. Good body. Adult coat still to come. Very Promising. BPB

Class 581 JB (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 1998 MANNERS Mrs B C Chadbower Nevaeh Lahetti

I really fell for this very beautiful bitch. Feminine head of good proportions. Lovely eye set. Very well balanced in every way. Well handled and moved with a collected, brisk stride. Lovely body fitting well into the legs. I kept going back to her in the Bitch challenge , she really fills the eye. I was delighted to give her BCC. Her first, but not her last, I suspect.

Class 582 PGB (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 1995 LEAF Mrs V R Skipon Golden Gemma

Small coloured girl, excellent for coat and body. Standing 4 square and moving out truly. Could be a little cleaner through the head for me.

2nd: 2006 REED Mrs J & Miss K Stoneyburn Maia

Rangier than 1 and longer in back and coupling. Good for head and front assembly. Well set on tail and shelf.

Class 583 LB (4 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 2013 WHALES Mrs L Ristine Duchess At Roshaana

Standing 4 square, a lovely outline. Sound on the up and down and a well set on tail. Lovely for balance in angles. Just needs a little more rib to complete the picture.

2nd: 2005 REED Mrs J & Miss K Stoneyburn Arbeia

Standing across more ground than 1. However a lovely deep chest and strong muscled coupling. Could be more precise on the up and down.

3rd: 1992 HOLLAND Mr A & Mrs J Stoneyburn Aesica At Schojan

Class 584 OB (7 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 2004 MILLAR Mr I Abylity Nina's Celtic Queen of Turnlaw (Imp)

Bigger bitch than 1 and presenting a lovely silhouette. Stocky and cobby with lovely head shape. Lacking some coat essentials. Very sound on the move and an absolute showgirl.
