German Spitz Klein

One dog was not happy to be gone over and there were a couple of males who were stretching the ‘two apparently normal testicles’ part of the standard. But with the use of chemical castration nowadays it is not my job as a judge to say otherwise. I am not a vet.

Class 2265 VD (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: BECK Miss T Nardik Tiger Woods

Good for size and with an expressive head and very neat ears. Sadly he was not settled on the stand or on the move. Good tail set and decent substance for size. BV

Class 2266 PD (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 7127 SUTHERLAND Mrs L & Mr R Cyfelin Man In Black

Sturdy black boy of good size but lacking some undercoat. Lovely head and expression and good ear set. Excellent tail set. Just needs to muscle up a bit more. Very Promising. BPB and BPIB

2nd: 7114 JACKSON, Mrs A E & MINSHALL Mrs F J Perrymere Just Bertie

Smart well presented, little cream dog. Longer in profile than 1. And head not so well balanced. Lacking some head coat which over emphasised his ears. Moving enthusiastically.

Class 2267 JD (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 7111 HILL Mr & Mrs P A & S Fernando Z Temnych Noci At Cyfelin (Imp)

Up to size but one of the better coated dogs today. Well presented. Standing 4 square and a very typical profile. Good for neck and body. Tends to be a little uncollected on the move.

2nd: 7115 LEADBETTER Mrs R Pommary Time After Time

Very unsettled boy. Small and of pretty colour but lacking some undercoat. Tail was up on the move but not when he was standing. He really did not want to cooperate.

Class 2268 PGD (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 7110 HIGHMOOR Mr & Mrs T & J G Musique Rave On

Quality black, so lovely to go over. Strong masculine head, lovely profile and profuse coat, well presented. Stands four square; good croup and tail set. Had he moved out a little brisker, he could have had more chance in the Challenge.

2nd: 7113 HUGHES, Mr M P & Mrs L M & FORRESTER Mrs J S Indizak Shades Of Winter In Candease

Orange sable, good for size and substance. Good coat and presentation. Moving briskly. Ears could be neater.

3rd: 7115 LEADBETTER Mrs R Pommary Time After Time

Class 2269 LD (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 7117 MOIR, Mrs J & MOIR Misses L & S Jansanleis Loud 'n' Proud

A square, moderately built chap, presented and shown to great advantage. Movement both ends won this class. Neat ears and good pigment. Well balanced throughout. ResCC

2nd: 7106 DYER, Mrs V A & ORR Mrs S Musique Wishful Thinking JW

A smart brown who I thought would be the class winner, but his movement let him down. Standing 4 square with a good coat and presenting a good profile. Good legs and feet. Lots to like here.

3rd: 7128 SUTHERLAND Mrs L & Mr R Chilite Chogan

Class 2270 OD (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 7100 BECK, Miss T, WRIGHT, Mr S & HALLIGAN Mrs Y Ch Nardik Eclipse – A shaded black who ticked all the boxes for me today. Sturdy to handle on the table and moving out straight and true. Perhaps could be a little less development in the head but certainly a masculine outlook. CC and BOB

2nd: 7126 SERMAN Mrs C Printzagems Late Arrival For Tymy

Smaller black boy suffering from the absence of undercoat today. Very sound on the move and with excellent body properties. Could be a little more masculine for preference.

3rd: 7105 DYER Mrs V A Ch Oberitz Curiousity At Javarm

Class 2273 PB (6 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 7104 CONWAY & OAKDEN Messrs Crystalclear Lady Marmalade (Imp) TAF

Tallish girl, pushing the measure but with type and substance to suit. An attractive crea/sable with good pigment. Good eyes and ear set. Lacking some undercoat but enough to help toward an attractive profile. BPB

2nd: 7118 MOON Ms L Galvizach Ellexia

Very nice black. Most lovely head shape and ears set. Very sound with a good tail set. Could be a little squarer on the stack.

3rd: 7096 ALLISON Mrs N J Oberitz Out Of The Shadows

Class 2274 JB (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 7101 BRADBURY Mrs G C Wychlea In The Purple

Very spitzy in outlook with a lovely body and excellent muscle tone which also showed on the move. She is very sound and true on the up and down and in side gait. Could be a little more square on the stack but comes into her own on the move.

2nd: 7097 ANDREW, Mrs C & ANDREW Miss K Claran Court Of Dreams

A very attractive well coated bitch. Superbly presented and in great coat. Could be better boned and more sturdy throughout. Well set on tail. Moving briskly.

Class 2275 PGB (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 7116 MELLOR Mrs J Nirvarna Sunset At Bellapip

Black and white parti, well presented and looking a picture on the stack. Sadly she was not in moving mode this afternoon. Good to go over with a sturdy body under that profuse coat.

2nd: 7119 MOXON Mr J D & Mrs S V Chilite Cochina at Thirldene

A happy little chap but I do prefer my Kleins a little larger. Boned appropriately under that very pretty coat. Moving briskly.

Class 2276 LB (4 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 7125 ROGERSON Miss L J Nosregor Girl Almighty

A black lass, not in great coat but showing a very typical profile on the stand. Excellent head and ears. Lovely neck and body with tight loin. Flat croup with excellent tail set. Showing and moving out truly and soundly. Needs more coat for a finished picture, but she had enough for me. BCC

2nd: 7109 HALL Mrs Y Nardik Inky-Dinky-Doo

Brown parti, superbly handled and presented. Very collected and balanced gait. Feminine head and showing her heart out. Moving briskly and truly. I would just prefer a little more.

3rd: 7108 GRIFFITHS Mrs A Cyfelin Pease Blossom

Class 2277 OB (5 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 7123 PEARCE, Mr G & FRANCIS Mr D Ch Longsdale Feel Free To Stare

Plush well presented coat on this well boned cream. Moving out very well with a brisk and collected gait. Showing and exuding confidence it is hard to get past her. Just preferred the head of the CC winner in the Challenge. Res CC

2nd: 7102 BRADBURY Mrs G C Ch Wychlea Purple Image

Very strongly put together black who tried her best to throw the class by being unsettled on the move. Most lovely well proportioned head . Scores in topline, rib and coupling. Good reach of neck.
