1st     BECKROW BLUE MOON OVER WATERDEEP (MR & MRS BURGOYNE & GODDARD) an impressive 14 year old in commendable body and condition for his age. Well shaped head which I preferred to 2nd. Attentive and alert. Well made in front and fore-chest, substantial in body. Moved well with pleasing front and rear action.

2nd     AM CH RHYDOWEN RHINESTONE COWBOY FOR GEREFA (IMP USA) (MR R V & MRS C A FROGGATT) a well made 9 year old who is of excellent size and stature. Heavier in head than 1st but having impressive ears. Strong in neck and well covered in body although a bit soft in condition; desirable angulations front and rear. A bit unsettled on the move.

1st     JOSETER FRAZER NASH (MR P CLIFTON) a super 15 month old quality red brindle male who is of impressive type and imposing profile. He has a head shape, proportions and ear set that are pleasing to the eye. Presents an eye-catching profile picture with everything fitting together faultlessly. Soundly constructed in front and forequarters possessing obvious fore-chest and sturdy well boned forelegs and well laid angled shoulders. Tight in elbows with well sprung good length ribbing and strong loin. Noticeably strong and well angulated in hindquarters with vertical parallel hocks. Active, free and purposeful on the move with desirable reach in front and parallel good width drive behind. My Dog CC and Best of Breed winner and later pleased to note he was Pastoral Group 3.

2nd     WATERDEEP RANGER ONE JW (MR & MRS BURGOYNE & GODDARD) a 17 month old sturdy male of pleasing overall proportions. Strong, masculine head set on a well developed neck. Well laid shoulders, tight enough in elbows. Typical front construction although not as tight as 1st. Good length broad and strong body and well angulated front and rear. Moved with confident forward action but not as smooth stepping as 1st.

2nd     TWINAN ALL REVVED UP OF CAPRIAN (MRS C A LANGFORD) a rising 2 year old of pleasing overall profile shape. Well enough made in front although not as well laid back in shoulder as I would prefer. Masculine good-looking head which has a pleasing expression with clear nicely shaped dark eyes and large erect ears. Satisfying in construction of forequarters and body, well angled hindquarters which need to strengthen especially on the move. Free moving, happy temperament and tail.

2nd     WILDCARD ACE AT NANAIMO (MS M APPERLEY) a 22 month old b/m who has a pleasing outline and overall body shape and proportions. Masculine and strong features in head which is set on a good length strong neck. OK front and forequarters, sturdy well made body and well angled hindquarters which need to strengthen. Movement needs to be more settled and controlled.

1st     BWTHYN ALL RIGHTS RESERVED (MRS J A JAMES) a 3½ year old quality male who is of the type and standing profile I like. He has an attractive head shape of the length, proportions and ear set that are pleasing

to the eye and which I preferred to 2nd. He is well made in front and forequarters with obvious fore-chest and sturdy well boned forelegs and well laid shoulders. Desirably tight in elbows and well sprung ribbing with firm loin. He is strong and well angulated in hindquarters and has vertical parallel hocks. Moved really well, free and purposefully.

2nd     GOWERSTON GWYDION (MR N G & MISS C M THOMAS) a quality 18 month old upstanding b/m of impressive standing profile. Presents himself nobly with a confident upright head carriage, muscular arched neck and body outline. Masculine, strong features in head, with large ears which need to be carried higher to be at his

best advantage. Well made in front and forequarters, firm top-line and well defined loin. Moved well and free a real extrovert and a little fond of his tail.

1st     CH JOSETER MR PARKINSON (MR P CLIFTON) a well schooled rising 6 year old b/w male who has an imposing standing profile having a clean well defined outline and he is smart in appearance being of pleasing proportions. and balanced in angulations front/rear. Breed typical, masculine head which is refined with clean, moderate attractive planes. Alert and attentive in expression and has erect, correctly set, nice sized and shaped ears. Sturdy and firm in body with just enough cover with depth and spring of rib. Pleasing overall length and totally in proportions and having parallel width and decent angles behind. Moved out with purpose, free and true in front but was a little loose and close in hocks behind. My Reserve dog CC winner.

2nd     AM CH/GCH TELLTAIL KING'S RANSOM (MRS P & MRS N O'DONNELL & MURPHY) a substantial r/brindle male who has stronger features both in head and body. He is of substantial build and is well made having good bone and firm substance of body. Masculine strong featured head with good sized, well set, responsive ears. Pleasing construction all through with broad fore-chest,  sturdy front, well built body, which is ribbed well back

 and well let down hindquarters. In good coat which edged him over 3rd and pleasing body condition. Moved with confidence with purposeful forward action and good drive behind.

1st     BELROYD PEMCADER MENNA (MRS B A PRICE) a very attractive 9 year old mature bitch in praiseworthy condition and of super shape and type. Breed typical but feminine features in head set on good length strong neck. Well made in front which I preferred to 2nd. Standing everything in proportion and balance. Moved the better of this class.

2nd     FLOATIN HAWEN HAWYS FOR KOGARAHS (IMP) (MRS V A ROBERTS) another 9 year old in commendable condition for her age. Similar in profile and similar comments on construction apply. Pleasing head and overall side profile both of which are attractive to the eye. Well made front, body and hindquarters. Free moving but not as precise as 1st.

1st     KILVROCH MYSTIKOS FOR MILLERMEAD (MRS H M HEAD) a well developed 10 month old youngster

who is attractive in appearance and has plenty of quality breed and conformation plus points. She is well boned

and well grown and is of excellent proportions in body length/height and is desirably angulated front and rear. Typy and beautifully feminine in head and expression. Well grown in body being ribbed well back, having spring of rib and good width and angles in hindquarters. A super promising puppy that moved well and the better of this class and other puppies. Best Puppy in Breed and later Pastoral Puppy Group 4.

2nd     TAMLIN VOODOO CREAM (MRS T E & MISS B J TAYLOR & TAYLOR) a very attractive sturdy well grown b/w of 8 months of age who is heavier in body and stronger in head than 1st. She is well boned and has good body development for her age being fairly long in body having substance and a firm level top line. She moved with a free easy gait but needs to settle in front action although not untypical of a developing puppy.

1st     TAMLIN PRINCESS LEIA WITH ELESSAR (MISS J DOWN) a very breed typical 22 month old impressive red brindle bitch whose has notable qualities of conformation and breed type. Lovely attractive head of pleasing shape improved by good sized, well shaped ears which are set well and carried high. Soundly constructed in front and body having ideal substance, and all in proportion length to height with enough leg height to allow free and easy movement. She has a firm level top line and is balanced in angulations front and rear. An easy mover with sound extension in front and drive behind. My Bitch CC winner.

2nd     GEREFA COWGIRL BLUE (MR R V & MRS C A FROGGATT) a 6 year old mature b/w bitch of moderate size, make and typy shape. Pleasing head which is obviously feminine but is breed typical in appearance. Plenty of body which needs to firm up and tended to be loose in front and needing to tighten in hindquarters; I would prefer more definite stifle angulations.  Movement was unsettled.

1st     BRYNLLUAN MAGIC CRYSTAL (MRS B A PRICE) a very well made 3 year old red & white who is attractive in appearance. She has a head of pleasing shape and expression enhanced by good sized, well shaped ears set correctly but could be carried slightly higher .Well constructed in front although would prefer a bit  more prominent

 fore-chest, and is well made in body having spring, depth, ideal substance, overall length and a firm level top line. She has good body proportions in outline height/length and is balanced in angulations front and rear. Free in movement with pleasing forward extension.

2nd     GOWERSTON GWYNONWEN ( MR N G & MISS C M THOMAS) a  shapely junior b/w bitch who has a pleasing attractive head of good contours and expression. Erect noticeably large ears, set well. Strong well developed neck set at a pleasing angle into shoulders. Ok in front but tended to be down on her feet. Pleasing in overall length and proportions of body with decent angulations front and rear. Free side gait action but unsettled in front on the move.

3rd     GEREFA COWGIRL BLUE (MR R V & MRS C A FROGGATT)

She has a head shape, length and proportions that are pleasing to the eye, which I preferred to 2nd. She is well constructed in front and forequarters having fore-chest and sturdy well boned forelegs and well laid shoulders. Desirable tight elbows and well sprung good length ribbing with broad, strong loin. Stable and well angulated in hindquarters with vertical parallel hocks. When settled moved well, free and purposefully. My Reserve Bitch CC winner.

2nd     CH BERYLLOS YOU LOOK LIKE A STAR AT ELMSMERE JW SHCM (IMP FIN) (MR B M & MRS R G GARDINER) a very imposing powerfully built r/brindle mature rising 4 year old bitch who overall is of pleasing outline, substantial in body and of pleasing proportions and balance. Eye-catching in standing show stance. Typy in head although I would prefer a shape having more refinement and feminine qualities. Free and powerful on the move.

3rd     GLYAERON PRELUDE OF GOWERSTON (MRS S MUCKLE)
