1st: 121 O'BRIEN Mr & Mrs A Caldewriver Despicable Me a smart 7 year old well constructed shapely male who has a breed typical appearance. Pleasant head and expression. True,  straightfront with good enough fore-chest, spring and ribbed well back; needing to tighten in elbows. Firm level in top-line, tended to appear a tad long in the back in proportion to height, although has nicely angled hindquarters; stands over the ground well. Moved with a free easy action. Best Veteran in Breed.

1st: 115 LEWIS Ms L Tangaer Erique a well grown and well covered 8-month-old who is of the make and shape I like. He is well balanced in profile and is compact in overall construction having desirable bone and body and breed typical harsh textured coat. Pleasing typy head and lively expression; head set onto a firm neck of good length. He is true in front, well developed in body with spring of rib, firm, level top line and enough substance for his age. Pleasing angulation in hindquarters which were of proportional width, Moved out well and free needs to settle in rear action. Very promising.

2nd: 134 SALMON Mrs A Tangaer Enchanted At Scarscot an 8-month-old very promising L/W youngster having a real ‘loose-limbed’ puppy look and not as together as 1st. Overall shapely in appearance and breed typical with an smart, attractive head and pleasing expression; needs to be better settled and schooled to give of his best and he will have better days. Well boned and bodied with pleasing overall proportions. Moved with forward purpose and with enthusiasm but needing to settle.

1st: 107 DALGARNO Mrs & Miss C Vencharno Mojito a super quality 10-month-old well grown male with pleasing bone and a firm body covering. He impressed in overall construction with a side profile that is in balance and proportion that pleases the eye. Attractive and typical in head with an alert expression. True well boned front and good forequarters with desirable angulations front and rear. Strong level back with excellent body length, satisfactory spring and is ribbed well back. A sound free mover with particularly good rear drive. A very promising puppy, very close up to BP in Breed.

1st: 118 MCEWAN Mrs C Marunnel Orinoco a well-balanced quality 14-month-old who has a rough coated, breed typical appearance. Pleasing head and expression with a nicely shaped dark eye and an attentive good-natured temperament. He is carrying enough body cover and needs to tighten in front but has a well-made body with good spring and depth of chest. Firm, level top line with strong hindquarters. Moved like he had somewhere to go and with especially good rear action.

1st: 109 EATON Mrs T M Linphil Kili a smart, quality 20-month-old who has an attractive profile maybe a little long in back, pleasing coat and coat texture. Good firm lines all through and has a pleasing head and expression with a nicely shaped eyes which could be darker. Sound front with good tight elbows; he has a well-made firm body of just enough cover which was better than 2nd, good spring and depth of chest. Firm, level top line with strong hindquarters.Better mover of the class, especially behind.

2nd: 114 HUNT Mrs M Soletrader Buzz Aldrin At Bondlea a 22 month old typy male who is carrying more substance than I prefer which affected his top-line and movement. Very pleasing in head, good length neck and true enough front. Heavy in body although has pleasing spring and ribbing; broad over loin and stable hindquarters. An enthusiastic eager mover and needing to be more controlled in front action.

1st: 126 PUCKETT Mr S & Mrs J Soletrader Bobs Your Uncle a rising 3-year-old super shaped well-proportioned male who has a firm, fit body and breed typical coat presents a clean outline and a profile that pleases the eye. First-rate in overall construction. Good-looking typical head with an alert, interesting expression, satisfying dark eyes and pigment. True front, forechest and good forequarters with tight elbows, which I preferred to 2nd. Balanced in angulations front and rear, ideal spring and ribbed well back, all combining to produce a quality male. An enthusiastic sound mover, best mover of the class. Reserve Dog CC.

2nd: 116 LEWIS Ms L Tangaer Bryntelych a very workmanlike, quality 2 year old  who is another who is balanced in profile and presents a pleasing appearance. Handsome head set on strong neck onto a well made body and having a firm level top line. Well-made in front and forequarters although elbiows could be tighter. Pleasing angulations front and rear although tended to stand with rear extended detracting from his angulation and balance. Moved with a free lively positive action when settled..

1st: 133 ROBERTSON, Mrs S & DOHERTY Mrs W Ch Soletrader Magic Mike a 3 year old distinguished male who is in his prime and who I admire. An outstanding ambassador and credit to the breed; a lively, extrovert character who looks to enjoy life and projects the ideal personality of the breed.  Impressed me in every way, a strong workmanlike hound who looks like he has unfailing energy. He is of ideal conformation all through. Super head set on a strong neck; sound front and forequarters and sturdy firm body and muscular well-built hindquarters. Sound movement sets the standard for the rest. Pleased to award him Dog CC and Best of Breed and later see him top the Hound Group.

2nd: 128 REID Mr P & Mrs D Maudaxi Nick Nack a very pleasing rough coated breed typical 3-year-old well-made male who is another with a balanced profile. Very attractive well shaped head better width to 3rd, set on a strong neck which could have more length, onto a sturdy body having a firm level top line. Nicely constructed front although I would like him to be tighter in elbows. Moved with a free lively action which edged him over 3rd.

1st: 98 ALDERSON Mrs R C Haliston Yasmine At Bunnywood a 9-year-old matronly well bodied bitch. Pleasing appearance although tended to look a bit long in back to height proportions. Typy head and expression. True front with enough fore-chest, carrying plenty of substance over her body which affected her top-line. A little straight in stifle. Moved OK but lacked enthusiasm.

1st: 112 FOOTE Mr & Mrs R Erylan Hebe La Fille Jeune a very smart 7-month-old who has a very well-defined profile. Pleasing head both in shape and proportion; bite needs watching. She is satisfying in her development of bone and body and is very well made in front having fore-chest and pleasing angulation which matches her hindquarters. Preferred her angulation especially rear angulation to that of 2nd. Moved well enough when settled.

2nd: 106 BROWN, Mr C & Mrs L & BROWN Miss S Erylan Iris Dame Arc En Ciel litter sister to 1st but not as together in proportions and shape. Nonetheless she has a good foundation to grow on and is good in her separate parts. She is well bone and has desirable body substance. Breed typical attractive head, well-made front and fore-chest. Tending to rise over the loin in top-line, so needs to settle into her hindquarters which will come with onward development. Needs to settle on the move to give of her best.

She has good bone growth and has a pleasing foundation to further develop into a top-quality example of the breed. One with balance, sound conformation and exciting promise. Moved soundly with typical gait and confidence. A deserving Reserve Bitch CC and Best Puppy in Breed and later Hound Puppy Group 3.

2nd: 111 ELLINGFORD, Mrs L & COOPER Miss C Afterglow Agnes Gru avec Jayanel an 11-month-old very breed typical youngster who stands over the ground well and looks to be going through the ‘long’ stage of development. Lovely head and appealing attentive expression. True well-made front but not as neat in maturity as 1st. Well made in body with good covering and moderately angled hindquarters. Moved well and free.

1st: 119 MCEWAN Miss C R Marunnel Miss Adelaide a 14-month-old shapely well-constructed typy bitch who has a front and forequarters of pleasing construction which I preferred to 2nd. She has the overall make and shape I liked and a breed typical having a rough coated appearance being in balance and ok in proportions. A bit unsettled for her handler and tended to be stretched out when standing detracting from her rear angulation. A very active eager mover with excellent side gait.

2nd: 101 BAMFORTH Mrs H Scarscot In Full Bloom at Helensfield a well grown 16-month-old who is well covered with a harsh textured rough coat. Pleasing head set on good length strong neck. True front but tended to stand wide. Lacked the well-defined angulations of 1st. Free moving although was close in rear action.

Class 55 PGB (5 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 135 SCOTT Mrs L Overbecks Kathy Tiere a 20-month-old well bodied bitch who is of attractive overall shape. Well nade front which is sounder and tighter than 2nd. Pleasing head set on good length strong neck, well bodied with spring and is ribbed well back. Firm in top-line and loin with stable nicely angled hindquarters. Moved well and was better in side gait than 2nd.

2nd: 123 OBRIEN Miss K Caldewriver Lotsa Trouble a 22 month old breed typical well-proportioned bitch who is not as tight in front as 1st. She is pleasing and feminine in head and is well developed in body which is firm in substance. Balanced in angulations front and rear movement was positive in front and rear but not the free extension in side gait to match 1st.

3rd: 130 REID Mr & Mrs P & D Maudaxi Pina Colada Parfait

1st: 117 LEWIS Ms L Tangaer Chamlee a workmanlike houndy 2-year-old who is impressive in overall conformation and profile shape. The more I went over her and looked at her from all sides, the more I liked her. She is attractive in head and expression, so well made in front which scored over 2nd and firm in body and hindquarters which were strong in angulation. On the move she confirmed her excellent conformation by having true extension in front and ideal width driving action behind with striking side gait. Pleased to award her the Bitch CC.

2nd: 104 BLAKE, Mr C & REID Mrs D Vilauddens Midsummer Madness (Imp) a 2 year old who is of satisfying proportions and has moderate angulations front and rear could have more bend of stifle. Pleasing head, which is attractive and a body of overall pleasing type, make and shape covered with a harsh rough coat. Tended to stand a bit wide in front. Moved well and free with very good side gait.

3rd: 129 REID Mr P & Mrs D Maudaxi Pussy Galore

1st: 100 BAMFORD Miss K M Tangaer Amour a rising 5-year-old who is breed typical and mature in appearance. She has a first-rate coat both in rough look, length and texture. I liked her head in preference to 2nd. Well-made in front, strong lengthy neck and sturdy, firmly covered body. Moderate in angles front and rear. Moved with a true, free purposeful action.

2nd: 103 BLAKE Mr C Orleans V Tum Tums Vriendjes At Trezeguet (Imp) a 2 year old striking bitch who has well defined breed typical picture. She is of pleasing size, shape and proportions. Slightly larger in stature than 1st and having a stronger look in head. Pleasing neck, well-made front and forechest, moderate angles but more upright than 1st. she has satisfactory body cover, spring of rib and short broad loin with moderate angulated hindquarters. Moved with a lively attitude but not as precise in front as 1st.
