 A challenging entry to evaluate, dogs were very mixed where many had poor proportions and lacked any style on the move. The quality was for sure better in the bitches, thought there is some lovely young bitches which is good for the breed and the future. Could have easily given out 3 or 4 BCC’s today. My BOB is a lovely example of the breed and having judged him a few years ago in his home country i was pleased to award him the top spot again today where he went on to place in the Hound group, that said the bitch pushed hard and just had to submit to her youthfulness and immaturity over the Male..

JD

1)strong headed masculine dog, good length of skull. Good bone and substance, large feet. Needs to settle in topline and a little flat in croup. Has nice lift and spring on the move, ideally like him squarer

2) nicely balanced and proportioned dog, good skull, triangular eye. Prefer more neck and needs to develop in front, ok topline, still immature in body, steep croup.

YD

1)head of good length and strength. Strong bone with ok feet. A little soft in topline, well proportioned body, defined pin bones, has nice carriage on the move. Tail ok.

2) nicely balanced dog with a good shape, just preferred the substance on 1. Well set and placed eye. Moderate neck and shoulders, level back with angular rear. Would like him to have more enthusiasm on the move.

GD

1)eye catching dog with strength and substance throughout. Slight stop with nice skull, triangular well set eye, big feet, holds himself well at all times, tail a little loose on the move. Nice type. RCC

2) smaller mould than winner but had good attributes, square in outline. Ideally like more masculinity and substance, Level back with good croup and tail. 

PGD

1)medium sized dog with good proportions, skull of good length with slight stop.low set ears. Prefer more fill in front, level back, with good pin bones.nice substance under his well coated frame. Prefer more lift on move but places his feet well.

2) masculine dog, nice length of skull. Long muscular neck. Big feet. A little soft in topline. Long rib cage. Steep croup.Lacks carriage on the move 

MLD

1)lovely head and expression, well placed triangular eye. Good bone and substance with some fill i front. Ok feet. Clean neck and shoulders. Topline a little soft, carries himself well on the move. Low set hocks. Good tail and rear

2) moderate dog with correct proportions. Prefer a little more substance to him level back, ribs well set back. Nice croup and tail. Sound mover, but lacks style and lift on the move. Nice type.

LD

1)slightly fine in head for a male. Moderate stop with well placed eye. Ok neck and shoulders, has some fill in front, feet too small. Holds back well at all times,. Flat in croup. Sound mover but lacks style

2) lovely shaped dog, but lacks substance in body. Long skull with low set ears, eyes light and too round. Topline ok, he over reaches in rear. Lacks carriage. Too Steep in croup.

OD

1) best class of the males by a long way. Nice depth throughout, winner is a lovely balanced dog, good to put your hands on him with his substance and bone to feet. Clean outline.super neck and shoulders with a level back. Ribs well sprung. Muscular loin, lovely coat condition,where this dog comes into his own is when he moves with dignity, smooth and springy with style of high order                                

2)impressive dog with lots of type and quality. Long skull, well placed eye and ear. Has fill in front with good bone, big feet. Prefer longer rib cage. Strong rear, low set hocks. Lovely carriage on the move. Pushed hard for RCC.

VD

1) masculine dog, liked his head piece, low set ears. Moderate stop. Has substance throughout. Big feet. Defined topline with lovely tail set and carriage. Angular rear which he uses on the move, ideally like him with a little more leg length. Super coat and condition.

SBD

1) was 2nd in GD

2)masculine head with strength, slight stop.defined topline. Would prefer him a shade shorter in back. Ok feet. Moderate angles, needs more lift and animation on the move

MPB

1)lovely shape and make for this precocious lady, loved her attitude and style. Feminine head with Nice eye and skull. Good legs with a firm back, needs to drop in her rear a little, good angles, smart youngster 

PB

1)3 raw youngsters, nicely balanced bitch tin good proportions. Detailed head piece. Ok bone and feet. Holds her shape on the move, just needs time

2)feminine head with well placed triangular dark eye. Need to settle in topline, moderate angles. Low set hocks, enjoyed her day a little too much on the move and not totally settled

JB

1)excellent shape and proportions, lovely length of skull with strength but not overdone. Really nice to put your hands on her She floats around the ring with style and ease. Lovely type and has that air of arrogance about her. Very collected for age and when she matures she is going to take the breed by a storm in my opinion. 

Top quality bitch with some lovely bitches in my lineup I could not deny her the BCC. Will watch her career with interest.

YB

1)another lovely youngster with correct breed type and style running through her. Loved her balance and proportions, good substance, big feet. Detailed topline. Muscular neck with good shoulders. Coat and muscular condition very good,Easy action with style on the move. Good example of the breed and pushed hard for the top honours.

2)stronger bitch than 1 in head. Good length of neck. Ok topline, ideally like her shorter in back. Defined pin bones. Good tail. More immature than winner.

PGB

1)substantial bitch. Long skull with slight stop, good strength. Arched neck, big feet. Level back with ribs extending well back. leg length and proportions are good. Nice style on the move.

2)feminine bitch, smaller throughout but still has nice qualities. Strong bone , ok feet. Nice to put your hands on but not giving it her all on the move today compared to winner.

MLB

1)feminine detailed bitch, nicely balanced throughout. Clean outline with good front and body. Has a nice carriage to her with some style with a detailed topline, Nige type

2)lovely head and eye, slightly rangier than winner. Good substance. Nice feet.Preferred topline on winner. Good lift on the move

LB

1)stylish exotic bitch with a real look her her, has super leg length with a good front and feet. Substance throughout , arched neck. Loved her style on the move.with her outline remaining at all times

2) nicely headed bitch, well placed eye. Preferred neck and shoulder of 1. Good bone, well sprung ribs, strong rear. Well angled croup with correct tail. Different type to 1.

OB

1)nicest class of the day to judge,. All very good examples of the breed. Winner has style and quality throughout. Super shape and proportions, moderate angles,Feminine head. Arched neck with defined topline, moderate croup with good tailset,Not overcoated, super type. Moved well in class but really picked herself up in the challenge and pushed the winner so hard for the top spot. 

2)similar shape to 1 and also very nice to go over. Triangular eye, good skull. Nose could be darker. Moderate angles and length of back, prominent pin bones, has good substance.Carries herself well on the move, not the showiest of bitches but cannot be ignored and has good breed type.

VB

1)stood alone but quality bitch with nice type throughout. Long Skull, good substance throughout, big feet, ribs extending well back, being a little stubborn on the move in warm conditions.
