Not the easiest day to assess with a miserable wet start outside and then indoor ring had very long grass which some did not like or give there all on the move. I was alarmed on how many had light eyes which really does spoil heads and expression. The size has come down in my opinion but still feel many more could be more compact. Good to see some nice youngsters coming along which is good for the future. 

SB D/B

1)nicely balanced bitch, fem head, well placed ears, dark eye. Neat feet, deep chest with a level back, moderate angles, correct tail set and length

2)masculine dog who needs to grow into his framework.

 Balanced skull, compact feet, well sprung ribs, firm muscle tone, once settled moved ok

MPD

1) 2 nice pups, winner more mature and collected. Balanced skull. Nice exp. clean neck and shoulders. A tad long in loin, good bone and feet. Steady sound mover

2) lovely expression with super dark eyes. Neat feet, good forechest. Level back, needs to come up on leg a little. Places his feet well on the move, just needs time, good size

PD

1)very smart compact dog, lovely head and exp, good ears, dark eye . Round bone with tight feet. Excellent topline with high set tail. Nice type. Moderate balanced angles front and back.Carries himself well on the move and has some style to him. Will watch his future with interest.CC and BP

2)similar frame to winner, also good head piece with dark eyes.just preferred rear on winner. Needs to settle in topline on move but overall nice honest typey dog

JD

1)nice mould of a compact dog. Masculine head, prefer a bit less throat , round bone, neat feet, deep chest. Short loin Lovely short thick tail, good turn of stifle, steady mover.

2)houndier head than 1, strong bone. Level back, muscled loin, preferred front on winner. Good size and proportions. A tad over weight.

YD

1)as 2nd in JD

GD

1)pleasing head and skull. Firm bone with nice forechest, good shoulder. Needs to fill out in body. Level back with high set tail. Covers the ground well in profile once setteled

2)stronger dog than 1, square muzzle, prefer darker eye. Deep chest. Good feet. Level back, a bit heavy in body. Strong muscular rear., would be better a bit lighter

LD

1)masculine head with a lovely soft expression and not overdone, good ears. Prominent forechest. Nicely rounded bone with neat feet. Deep chest, needs to fill out in rib and body, level back with highset tail. Angular rear. Nice type but needs more maturity 

2)very nice balanced dog, liked his head, eye could be a bit darker. Moderate but balanced angles. Deep chest with excellent short thick tail. Sound mover, ideally like a little more reach in front, close decision on 2 different types of hound.

OD

1)I felt this dog had the best shape of the males with his clean well proportioned balanced outline. Pleasing head, not overdone with a soft expression.good neck and shoulder, table top back with high set tail. Super rear which he uses well on the move. Ideally like a bit more bone but loved his type, size and style. RCC                                                                                                                                                              

2) masculine head with a dark eye, good strength of muzzle. Long muscular neck. Correct round bone. Deep chest with long ribbing. Ideally like his loin shorter but he has a level back. Good turn of stifle and really covers the ground on the move. Very outgoing showy dog in firm condition

MPB

1) lovely feminine head and expression, clean neck and shoulders, compact body, short loin with good bone, clean outline and once settled moved well. Liked her type. 

2)another feminine headed bitch, super dark eye, Prominent forechest, good bone, topline and bend of stifle. Low set hocks, good size, just preferred proportions of 1. 

PB

1)nicely made bitch with a soft expression, dark eye and well placed ear. Good bone and feet. Well sprung ribs,Holds her shape at all times and places her feet well on the move. Tail could be shorter. Strong rear with good muscle tone.

2)liked her head, skull and expression. Clean neck and shoulders, good bone and feet. Deep chest with big ribs. Ideally like her shorter backed. Steady mover, just a little larger mould than winner

JB,

1)nicely proportioned bitch, good size, a little strong in head for me but still remains feminine. Good round bone, neat feet. High set tail, muscled angular rear. Positive mover. She is a quality bitch with a bright future I feel.

2)nice head and expression. Dark expressive eyes. Good neck and shoulders with deep chest, ideally like more bone, level back with moderate rear, sound mover, just preferred proportions of winner

YB

1) mixed class to judge. Winner has a good skull with strength in muzzle. Moderate stop. Eye could be darker.holds topline well, just needs to fill out in her framework. Deep chest, Strong rear. 

Once settled moved ok

2)nicely made bitch in a compact body. Feminine head, Prefer darker eye. Moderate angles, neat feet, sound mover.

GB

1)nice type with good size and shape, feminine throughout. Pleasing head, eye could be darker. Clean neck and shoulders. Deep chest, in lovely coat and muscular condition 

2) balanced skull with dark eye and well placed ears. stronger made bitch throughout and a little heavy in body. Good bone and feet, short thick tail, would be better with a few pounds off her.

PGB

1) correct size and proportions. I liked her head piece but would prefer a darker eye. Well sprung ribs, deep chest, round bone. String rear with low set hocks. Firm condition, positive mover

2) eyecatching bitch with a good shape, a little strong in head for me,correct round bone with neat feet.good forechest. Level back with high set tail. Moved ok

LB

1) I really liked this bitch, her shape and outline was beautiful and flows from nose to tail. Ideally like more strength in muzzle but she is still feminine.excellent front with deep chest, neat feet. Holds her topline at all times. Lovely condition. Nice type. Sound mover. Pushed hard for top honours.

2)slightly smaller mould than 1, feminine head and expression, compact body with short loin. Ok feet. Moderate balanced angles. Good tailset. Nice type but just felt the winner has bigger angles which she uses on the move. Good condition 

OB

1)Feminine balanced head piece with a lovely expression, super front assembly with a deep chest, neat elbows, compact body, short loin, excellent bone and feet holds her topline at all times, ideally like a little more rear width in stifle but what she has she really uses, her foot placement is excellent. High set thick tail, lovely type. Lots to like and deserved the CC and BOB

2)another nicely made bitch who i have previously given a RCC to, she has a soft melting expression with a kind eye and good strength of muzzle. Round bone, neat feet, she is a Shade longer cast than 1 but holds her topline and uses her well angled rear, she didn’t really like the long grass conditions we had in the ring but overall she is a honest bitch with lots of quality 

VB

1)this girl really was on song today. Full of life and energy on the move and could give the youngsters a few lessons. Feminine head with a good eye shape and colour,Compact body, deep chest with well sprung ribs.thick tail. Balanced moderate angles and in tip top condition.

2)good skull, prefer better eye colour and shape. Round bone with neat feet. Level topline with good ribbing. Sound steady mover, another also in lovely condition. Nice type
