A wet and cold day for these hounds, thank you all for giving me the opportunity to go over a lovely group of Sloughis.

1st: 3312 BOGGIA, Mrs C & WOODGATE Mrs H Xandu Khan Schuru-esch-schams (Imp) NAF TAF
1st A baby, and judging from his knuckles a fair bit more growth still to come. Beautifully coated and conditioned ivory cream hound with the blackest of pigmentation. Ears well held, quality head lets into strong neck, balanced and dead sound rear, front still to settle but it’s not going to take much to sort out. He has a lovely character, dignified yet amused and very willing to please. Elegantly tucked up, I was so drawn to him - BP and BOB. Will be interested to watch how he does later.
Class 1327 PGD/B (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 3309 BAMFORD Ms S L Doocloone Dabke Sharifa
Cream bitch with much to like, i admired her head and eye set, a quality bitch. Long well set upper arms and spring to her pasterns. Pronounced slope from hip to tail set. reserve best bitch.
2nd Bamford’s Doocloone Dounia Fareedat, black and tan sister of the above, shapely, well tucked up, balanced front to rear. I preferred the rear action of the winner on the day.
Class 1328 OD/B (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 3313 CHAPMAN-DAMMS Mrs A F Int Ch Sahsheer Shiana Khali
Shaded fawn with a most beautiful head and expression, quality all through, great length of leg with lots of daylight under her, moved easily and well in profile on a steady stride. She wasn’t especially enjoying these conditions.
2nd: 3311 BAMFORD Ms S L Jdya At Doocloone (Imp)
A cream with a lovely head, i see the mother of the two in previous class. Sound and in good condition, has a strong look of her breed but was tending to crunch herself up and look even shorter with her rump in the air. Very sound on the up and down.
3rd: 3310 BAMFORD Ms S L D'jalal-mansour At Doocloone D'al Mahdi (Imp)
A ten year old hound who is in lovely condition, i remarked upon his dentition which is excellent, doesn’t look his age. A good fronted dog, my notes suggest the ones ahead of him had more of the Sloughi profile I was looking for and time is starting to catch up with his hind action. Res Best Dog.
