I would like to thank the Ladies Kennel Association for the invitation and the exhibitors for such a fabulous entry of quality Fauves. A breed I have admired for the last 20 years and love to judge. 

Class  PD (4 Entries) Abs: 1  

1st:  JONES, Mr B R & GREGG Mr M J Wratthembray Mr Tod- 9 months old well grown youngster. Lovely outline in profile and did not disappoint on the move. Well balanced skull, with Dark eyes with a lively expression, Great ear set, strong in jaw with scissor bite. strong muscular neck leading to straight forelegs, plenty of bone and good tight feet.  Good lay of shoulder with a good depth of chest for his age. Well-rounded ribs, carried well back meant that he kept his topline whilst on the move. Strong muscular hindquarters and well let down hocks allowed him to move with a good speed and stride giving nimble movement. Best Puppy Dog. 

2nd:  ROBINSON Mrs G Wratthembray Timmy Tiptoes – 9-month-old, litter brother to 1, could change places on another day. Friendly, happy youngster who is smaller in size than 1 but has all the same virtues. Lovely head, balanced throughout with strong underjaw, good scissor bite and lovely black nose. Earset level with the eye and good length of ears. Short neck leading to sloping shoulders, straight legs and super feet. Rounded well laid-back ribbing gave strength to his topline, leading to muscular hindquarters. On the move he had quick strides and good ring presence. 

3rd:  THORNTON Mrs S E Mochras Ho Ho Ho  

Class  JD (2 Entries) Abs: 0  

1st:  REVENS, Miss A & HYDE Mr P Napo Do Cal Da Paderna At Beabass (Imp) 13-month-old youngster of moderate length. Super friendly boy with a lovely head with a kind dark eye, ear set level with the eye. Strong jaw and scissor bite leading to a short muscular neck. Good front with sloping shoulders, with strong pasterns and tight feet. Kept his topline on the move due to the support of good ribbing and muscular hindquarters, strode out well carrying his tail up. 

2nd:  WEDERELL Mr & Mrs D J & H L Rangali Willy Wonka 8-month-old youngster giving a lot away in age and maturity, pleasing outline and presented in lovely condition. Super head, well balanced, with strong jaw and correct bite, earset level with eyes. Super front with plenty of bone, strong pasterns, tight feet and short nails. Good depth of chest for his age, very good angulation at rear with well let down hocks made sure his movement was correct. Happy youngster. 

Class  PGD (3 Entries) Abs: 1  

1st:  RICHMOND, Mrs J & McDONALD-ULLIOTT Mrs J Hibeck Paddington Bear 19-month-old youngster, who stood beautifully in profile. Well balanced head, moderately domed skull of fair width. Well defined occiput and foreface of medium length. Strong jaw and correct scissor bite, dark eye with kind expression. Muscular neck leading to super front, prominent pro sternum, straight forelegs and tight feet. Good depth and shape to ribbing leading to muscular rear quarters and well let down hocks. His nimble movement didn’t disappoint and won him the class. 

2nd:  MCEWAN Mrs C Hibeck Barney Bear At Marunnel  19 month old youngster who was giving his handler a very hard time. Litter brother to 1 and of a similar type. Super head, well balanced and good dark eye and correct scissor bite. Strong muscular neck with good front, strong in bone and good feet. Rear angulation was good, with muscular hindquarters and when settled a pleasing profile. Skittish on the move, but clearly having a lovely time. When settled showed promise. 

Class  LD (2 Entries) Abs: 1  

1st:  LUCAS Miss K Hibeck Teddy Bear At Kocalba 19 month mature youngster. Stood well in profile, giving the ouline of a moderate hound, with rough coat. Masculine balanced head of medium length, dark eye with intelligent expression, good ear set and length of ears. Strong jaw with scissor bite set onto a strong neck. Excellent fore chest with sloping shoulders, well off for bone, strong in pastern and tight feet. Moderate length of body with good ribbing and well angulated rear quarters. Moved well. 

Class  OD (7 Entries) Abs: 3  

1st:  MACKAY Mrs F & Mr R Ch Shiroblam Rumba. Impressive 3-year-old who took my eye as he entered the ring. Superb head of quality but so masculine, well balanced skull, medium length and moderately domed, strong underjaw with perfect scissor bite, with black nose, dark lively eyes giving a kind expression. Ears set level with the eye and of a good length. Short muscular neck leading to superb shoulders, straight forelegs, well boned and strong pasterns, with tight feet. Wide and deep chest showing good prosternum. Ribbing rounded and well back supported by excellent hindquarters. This enabled him to powerfully stride around the ring in a lively manner, using his tail well to complete a fabulous profile. Pleased to award him Best Dog and BOB. Delighted to see him reach the last 8 in a quality Hound Group. 

2nd:  WEDERELL Mr & Mrs D J & H L Ch Rangali Salut C'est Moi Remy JW 3-and-a-half-year-old male of different type to winner. Lovely well-balanced head, kind dark eye and good ear set. Lovely front showing prosternum and well-developed ribbing. Longer in the loin than 1, level top line and well angulated rear, good stifle and hocks well let down. Moved well around the ring in tune with his handler. RBD.

Class  VD (2 Entries) Abs: 1  

1st:  LEECH, Miss A & LEECH Mrs J Ch Hibeck Scooby Doo With Soletrader Sh.CM Spritely 7 yr old who is in his prime and showing no signs of age. Good head, balanced and masculine with a kind expression, Ears set level with the eye and of good length. Sloping shoulders and good prosternum, good straight front and strong pasterns with tight feet. Wide chest with good depth, plenty of ribbing and strong loin. Rear quarters well-muscled and good bend of stifle showing on the move he could power around the ring. BV.

Class  PB (2 Entries) Abs: 1  

1st:  ALLENBY Mrs H & Mr R Rangali Wispa Very feminine youngster of 10 and a half months with very kind expression. Balanced head with strong underjaw with scissor bite, dark eye and good ear set and length. Strong neck into a super front, straight forelegs and super tight feet. Good ribbing and depth for her age, supporting her top line on the move. Matching rear quarters with well let down hocks meant she moves strides out well. Super personality couldn’t be ignored for Best Puppy in Breed.  

Class  JB (3 Entries) Abs: 1  

1st:  MOCHAN Mrs V Basler Wisecrack 15-month-old girl who is very balanced in outline, standing beautifully. Very feminine head, well balanced head shape, dark eye with super expression, ears set on level with eye and strong jaw with correct scissor bite. Short muscular neck into super sloping shoulders, well boned and strong in pastern with tight feet. Lovely ribbing rounded and carried well back giving strength to the top line when moving. Matching good rear angulation gave a spring to her step and strode out well around the ring, carrying her tail properly. RBB. 

2nd:  REVENS, Miss A & HYDE Mr P Naya Do Cal Da Paderna At Beabass (Imp) Red youngster, feminine head with a fabulous dark eye and kind expression, ears set on level with eye. Well balanced front with good shoulder and straight forelegs, balanced rear quarters gave her a balanced outline when stood. Moved well around the ring, preferred the coat of 1.

1st:  MACKAY Mrs F & Mr R Shiroblam Bayan Belle 22-month-old red bitch of quality with a lovely personality. Balanced Feminine head, Strong underjaw and scissor bite, with good dark expressive eye. Short muscular neck leading to sloping shoulders, strong pasterns and tight feet. Excellent depth of chest and well-rounded ribcage and strong loin led to excellent rear angulation with muscular hindquarters and well let down hocks. She has super movement and used her tail well to show a super outline 

2nd:  RUSSELL Mr C M & Mrs D Shiroblam Bayan Cocktail 22-month-old litter sister to 1 and of similar quality so will no doubt swap places on many occasions. Feminine head, good underjaw and correct scissor bite. Dark eyes and ears set level with the eye. Muscular neck leading to a Sloping shoulder, well boned legs and tight feet. Deep chest, ribs carried well back with a strong loin. Well angulated rear quarters and well bent stifle led to well let down hock giving a balanced outline in profile. Strode out easily around the ring using her tail well. Hard decision just preferred 1 today.

1st:  JONES Mr A & Mrs L Multi Ch Laserna Storm In A Teacup JW. 3 year old girl who I have judged before and she has fully matured into a lovely girl. In profile she fills the eye and did not disappoint today. Beautifully balanced front and rear angulation means she strides around the ring with such ease. Feminine head of quality with a kind dark eye, ear set correct and strong underjaw and scissor bite. BB  

2nd:  MOCHAN Mrs V Ir Ch Rangali Quinnie Buzz Ir J Ch, Red 4-year-old girl, unlucky to meet 1 today. Feminine in head, medium foreface with a hazel eye with lively expression, correct ear set. Strong jaw and scissor bite, strong neck. Balanced front and rear quarters, good length of ribbing and strong loin. Strode around the ring with ease and used her tail well.
