Afghan Hound Club of Scotland Championship Show 26.08.2018

I would like to thank the Officers and Committee for the Invitation to Judge dogs at this well run show and the exhibitors for the entry of there fabulous dogs. Although not numerically high the quality of the dogs was exceptionally high and many places where down to just personal preference and hair splitting.

Veteran 4 (2abs) 1St Millward & Mottershaw MULTI CH TAHKIRA LIKE IT LIKE THAT (IMP AUS) I having been watching this lad with interest since I first clapped eyes on him and was not disappointed when I laid my hands on him, his body just flows from the tip of his nose to the tip of this tail, lovely shaped head with the darkest of eye, leading to long arched neck, into lovely shoulders, great depth of chest, with level topline correct tail placement and carried correctly on the move, correct angulation for and aft which showed on the his wonderful movement pleased to award him the CC his 13th I found out later. BOS and Best Veteran is Show.

2nd MacKenzie EILTHIR SOCTOR NO. Smaller and more compact than one and slightly more rounder in eye than one, nice to see monkey whiskers, nice head and shoulders good angulation, tail carried slightly high but was really enjoying himself on the move today.

1st McCormack TULAK DESPICABLE ME Self Masked Gold, with good head and eye, well placed ears and good shoulders level topline, well placed correct tail with nice ring well angulated fore and aft moved well for one so young. Best Puppy Dog

2nd Collyer TULAK REBEL IN THE RYE, litter brother to 1st little to choose between them and the same comments apply just preferred the maturity of one.

1st Bovey SITANA BARISA TOOFAN KARIANCA , Black masked gold well shaped head with dark eyes long neck leading to good shoulder placement, level topline good return of upper arm and complimentary rear angulation well set ring tail moved with drive.

2nd James SITANAAAG TOOFAN litter brother to 1st all the same attributes just slightly finer throughout just splitting hairs |I am sure they will change places many times.

1st Nisbet & Forrester SAXONMILL REBEL REBEL AT FINIX, Black and Tan masculine lad with lovely head darkest of eye, long neck, leading to correct shoulder placement, level topline with well set ringed tail, good angulation fore and aft moved with power and drive highly considered for higher awards

2nd Cullen KHAMIS AEQUITAS AT EWEYISSKA Oyster Brindle good head with good length of neck, level topline and well set tail longer cast throughout than one.

2ND French PALAMEDEES TABOO AT ZALMEERAH Black Masked Gold with a nice head with good length of neck and shoulder placement, level topline with good set on tail moved well, just preferred the shoulder of 1st

2ND Parsons CH SYRDARYA HAZELNUT HOBNOB AT SHIKRIYA Lovely head with keen expression long neck leading to well-placed shoulders deep chest, nice level topline and rear angulation which showed on the move.
