North Eastern Afghan Hound Society Championship Show Bitches 14.10.17

I would like to extend my thanks to the committee for the invitation to Judge Bitches at this well run show, my two Stewards who did a fabulous job, my Co-Judge where we agreed with all the major awards and to all the exhibitors for allowing me to judge your beautiful hounds.

Veteran (2 1abs)

1st Roper & Moore CH Azmari Black Onyx at Temenshu Almost 11 Years young Black and Tan lovely shaped head and eye, well placed shoulders leading to good return of upper arm, good depth of chest and level topline well angulated rear with well set tail, unfortunately found the mats a little slippery today

Minor Puppy (2 1abs)

1st Nisbet & Forresters Zandahar Exclusively for Finix 6 months and one day, under a mountain of lovely monkey whiskers a lovely shaped head with the darkest of eyes, good length of neck leading to a very well balanced hound in all aspects, and showed in her excellent movement for one so young, topped by a good ring tail. Best Puppy Bitch and Best Puppy in Show.

Puppy (2 1abs)

1st Middleton Davashey Madam Hooch, Black and Tan, nicely shaped head and eye with nice length of neck leading to good shoulder placement fair return of upper arm and corresponding rear angulation, unfortunately seemed more keen on giving her handler a hard time today as movement was erratic and carrying her tail rather gaily.

Junior (7)

1st Raper Tulak Just for with it for Amariz Black masked gold, pleasing head and eye, long neck and well laid back shoulders, good depth of chest, firm level topline good ring tail well angulated moved well.

2nd McCormack Tulak Never Been Kissed, Litter sister, very similar attributes to 1. At the moment just lacks the balance and movement of 1. I am sure as they reach maturity they will change places many times.

3rd Sanghera Tulak Driving Miss Daisy to Sitana

Yearling (5)

1st Gilbert Affietar Glan Magillie JW Black and Silver lovely outline and well balanced throughout good head and eye with long neck leading to good shoulder placement and return of upper arm, good depth of chest and spring of rib nice strong topline and loin, good fallaway and rear angulation which showed on the move. RCC

2nd Parker Saxonmill Jean Genie at Khatira JW Black and Silver, lovely head with keen expression long neck leading to well-placed shoulders deep chest, nice level topline and rear angulation just lost out on movement to 1st.

1st James Gilari Vermillion Venus Shaded masked gold well shaped head with dark well shaped eye, good length of neck leading to well placed shoulders level topline and balanced angulation fore and aft

2nd Waggett & Wilkinson Saxonmill Kiss Bang Bang Clenagh JW Black and cream nicely balanced throughout just preferred the head of 1.

3rd Brentanos Valkor Vilholin

Post Graduate (2 1 abs)

1st Locket-Davies Rhazmakh Tyme’N’Tyde JW Brindle well shaped head with dark eyes long neck leading to good shoulder placement, level topline good return of upper arm and complimentary rear angulation well set ring tail moved with drive.

Mid Limit (5 1 abs)

1st O’Donnell Khamis Passion for Stripes at Javidan Sh.CM brindle nicely balanced outline with good head and eye shape, long neck leading to good shoulders and deep chest, level topline held on the move well angulated with correct tail set moved well unfortunately not giving her all in the challenge.

2nd Fairburn Roberts & Fillis Moon Maringo Evening In Paris nice femine head and good length of neck, well placed shoulders, level topline, good tail set and complimentary angulation for and aft not the movement of 1.

3rd Parker Devanmarn Say the Majic Word at Khatira

Limit (4 1 abs)

1st Macmillan Andizhan Czarina black masked cream feminine head, with good length of neck and shoulder placement good return of upper arm, deep chest and nicely held topline good fallaway and tailset moved well.

2nd Allen & Medlam Davashey Flora Burn at Suzau JW with a nice head with good length of neck and shoulder placement, level topline with good set on tail moved well, just preferred the shoulder of 1st

Bondor A Golden Age over Rhazmakh JW Sh.CM Brindle in beautiful condition took my eye as soon as she came into the ring, lovely outline standing, balanced head with good eye, long neck leading to well placed shoulders and good return of upper arm, deep chest and level topline, balanced angulation fore and aft, well set tail with a ring moved with real drive CC & RBIS

2nd Gilbert Ch. Affietar Amazing Grace JW Black masked gold totally feminine bitch balanced throughout, lovely clean head with well shaped dark eye, long neck leading to well placed shoulder and return of upper arm, good spring of rib and firm level topline held on the move, correct tail set
