I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge at their show and to my two stewards who done an excellent job. A big thank you to the exhibitors for showing their dogs under me , it was lovely to see new faces coming into our breed and great to see two young handlers, both who done an excellent job. General comments, Legs, feet and condition was generally very good. I did find some missing pre - molars in some exhibits. This is hard to breed out and can affect the typical head. Finally, it was lovely to see my best of breed shortlisted in a strong terrier group. 

Puppy Dog (3,0)

Marston’s Chipstead Dublin. Up to size 10 month old, predominantly white with a tan head, plenty of substance. Good head, neck and front, well placed shoulders and good depth of chest. Moved with drive when settled. A very sound dog. BPD and BP

Davison Agria Latin Lover with Belfox. Very stylish well presented 8 month old B/W dog with lots to like about him. Nice head and expression, good length of neck and short backed. Movement ok. Just needs time to mature. 

Llewellyn’s Buick Skyhawk Enjoy Mycobebe

Junior Dog (3,1)

Brookes’ Zetamaz Carbon Copy. B/W 14 month old of correct size, short back with a good depth of chest. Tail bang on top, in very good condition with a lovely profile, moved well. Would prefer a more typical expression. BD RBB 

Murray &Crouch’s Yarrum the Great Pretender of Oaxaca. T/W 14 month old dog. Sound dog with a good head and very good back end but unfortunately wasn’t showing well today.

Limit Dog (3,2)

Detry’s Belfox Olaf. 3 year old Black and White dog who is full of character. He has good bone, well presented and in good condition with well placed shoulders and good front and depth of chest. Moved well. I would just prefer a more typical head. RBD.

Open Dog (1,0)

Brookes’ Gerard Depardieu JW Sh CM. B/W 4 year old dog, sire of best dog and is very similar in make and shape. Good profile and shown in good condition. Moved ok.  

Veteran Dog (1,0)

Goodley’s Roxway Euonymus 8 year old T/W dog in lovely condition for age and handled very well. Good head, length of neck, legs and feet. Slightly longer cast than I would like. 

Good Citizen Dog (1,0)

Puppy Bitch (3,2)

Rogers’ Only You du Manoir Saint Adrien. Lovely 8 month old B/W puppy. Good head neck, front and shoulders. Good depth of chest and hind quarters. Moved well but lacking a little in coat. Missed out on best puppy to maturity. BPB  

Junior Bitch (3,1)

Rogers’ Lorecan Daybreak At Lunafox. 9 month old bitch, mainly white with attractive black markings on head. Has a lovely expression, with good front and good shoulders. Nice top line with good tail set and moved well. Would like her to be shorter but overall a sound bitch.

Murray & Crouch’s Yarrum Innuendo of Oaxaca. 14 month old T/W bitch with nice head, neck and shoulders. Would prefer a stronger top line but good overall. Unfortunately did not want to show today

Post Graduate Bitch (1,1)

Davidson’s Lizoni Hot To Trot. 13 month old heavily marked B/W bitch. Good head, ears, neck, front and shoulders. Tail well set but carried to gaily. Moved ok. 

Limit Bitch 

Goodley’s Glendraterra Glad Rags. 2 1/2 year old B/W lovely bitch, who is of correct size with a good head, neck and shoulders and top line. Short coupled, correct tail set and showed well for her young handler. Unfortunately, she was favouring one hind leg today. 

Open Bitch (2,2)

Thornton & Bebbington’s Ch. Glendraterra Dezina Label. 2 1/2 year black and white bitch with the most feminine typical head, lovely expression good ears and tail carriage. Correct length of neck and layback of shoulders. Good depth of chest, topline and tailset. Moved well with drive and in excellent condition BB & BOB 

Hughes and Butcher’s Ch. Forgevale Quintessence. Almost 2 year old T/W bitch. A very pretty bitch with a nice head and expression and good ear set. Good front, neck, level top line and depth of chest. Correct tail set, very good condition, moved well, and in excellent condition. RBB. 

Veteran Bitch (1,1)

Rogers Falkmere’s First Impression Sh. CM. T/W 8 1/2 year old bitch who really enjoyed her day. Very workmanlike and this one really does look like she could do what she was bred for! A reasonable head, short bodied and moved well. Didn’t show her age at all. BV
