Class 2224 PD (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 6406 KESTIN Mrs M Baruc De Arte Venandi BPD 9 mths Orange dog. Stood alone in this class but a worthy winner. I liked his head, no coarseness in the back skull, and well set ears. Pronounced occipital bone, divergent head planes and good deep muzzle with a strong jaw. . Eyes of correct shape, well set into the skull which is nicely chiselled below the eyes. Nice size for his age and well off for bone. Correct neck, Good body proportion with decent ribbing carried well back, good depth. He still needs to tighten in the front movement but he has good quarters and drives well behind . I have found Bracco puppies to be somewhat challenging to handle and in the heat this dog was no exception . In the challenge for best BP he lost out on the more positive of the bitch who was being a bit more co-operative.

Class 2225 PGD (6 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 6394 BEECHAM Miss D Grafskoe Gnezdo Arlo Res BD W/O Won this class on his general make and shape which I liked. Good neck with well placed shoulders, good ribbing and depth of chest, Ribs carried well back and correct length of loin . Good length of upper arm and good quarters, well turned at the stifle. Good topline. I would prefer the head to be a little more refined and a little leaner through the zygomatic arches. A well built dog with good bone expertly handled.

2nd: 6405 JENKINS Mrs R Braccorion's Italian Job . A good dog of similar type to 1 with similar virtues. Good neck and shoulders, well ribbed and good topline. Moved out nicely with the typical required trot. Pushed hard for 1st but would have preferred him to be carrying a little more weight. He is however very well muscled and is obviously well exercised.

3rd: 6401 COOPER, Miss L C & MARTIN Mrs P Amos Val Vel Trosnant (Imp)

1st: 6403 GOODE Mr & Mrs M Owlspoint King Of Trouble At Brackenvale JW Sh.CM BD I have admired this dog from the ringside in the past and he did not disappoint on getting my hands on him. He has a lovely head no coarseness, correct divergent planes, prominent occiput , plenty of work below the eyes and a strong deep muzzle, I liked the shape and set of the eyes which all contribute to his soft and alert expression. He is shown in perfect condition well muscled and of the correct weight . He has good front assembly , good length to upper arm , enough forechest, which is sometimes lacking in this breed, His ribs are well sprung and deep and his elbows are tight into his ribs, thus he has good extension on the move and comes toward you straight and true. Good neck, well laid shoulders and correct topline. Good quarters. His movement is correct and precise and he is well handled. My co-judge, Peter Harper and I, had no hesitation agreeing to him being awarded BOB.

2nd: 6420 WHITE, Mr A & CONNOLLY Miss F Defalco Raffaello Of Nguvu A quality dog , with a good head, correct skull shape and good deep muzzle. Good in neck and shoulders and moved out nicely. He was a bit overweight today but his body proportions are good.
