RETRIEVER LABRADOR

I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to a well-run show and keeping the chill off an otherwise cold venue, and for the exhibitors for turning out on such a cold, wet and miserable day.

PUPPY (7,3a)

1 Coddington & Shortland’s Rocheby Silhouette to Genisval A 9 month old yellow bitch who was a real live wire but when she concentrated she stood four square and gave a pleasing balanced outline. Good pigmentation, enough bone, pleasing angulation front and rear, with correct double coat and well covered otter like tail. Moved true going and returning. Pleased to award this youngster BP.

2 Woodall’s Thirlmere Echo Falls A 10 month black dog who is already of good height. Pleasing head, good double coat and otter like tail. Moved OK.

3 Wilson’s Stelainros My Girl

JUNIOR (5,2a)

1 Dawson’s Kowalski Espartaco 1V Beskerby A 15 month old yellow dog of correct size for the breed, handsome boy with a head that was not too strong, who stood four square with tight feet. A pleasing outline with good reach of neck, level topline, tailset and good angulation front and rear, good muscle tone. Moved well around the ring, pleased to award this dog BOB.

2 Wilson’s Stelainros Ambiance An 18 month old yellow bitch who was full of spirit, good pigmentation, pleasing outline when stood four square, level topline and moved with drive around the ring.

POST GRADUATE (8, 4a)

1 Young’s Potterspiney Angel Delight A 3 year old very pretty black bitch who I have since discovered I awarded BP to a few years ago, she has matured nicely, not overdone in anyway with a clean pleasing balanced outline. She was well muscled, good double coat, level topline with correct tail set and otter like tail, moved well and true around the ring. Pushed hard for top honours, pleased to award her RBOB.

2 Wilson’s Stelainros Witch Queen Another pleasing yellow bitch from this owner, good front and rear angulation, correct double coat and tailset, moved well.

3 Davis’ Glenbrows Paraphrase
