My thanks to the committee and society for inviting me to judge, for their kind hospitality and helpful, efficient stewards. Thank you to the exhibitors for giving me the honour of judging their dogs.

Puppy D/B (2,1abs) 1.Carter & Leigh’s Gladmin Lesotho Promise, Lovely Gold & White 9 month old feminine bitch, loved her shape, nice head and dark eye, good reach of neck and lay of shoulder, fair spring of rib and depth of chest for age, good length of loin, topline held well on the move, well set tail and carriage. Moved soundly and with style, BP and was pleased to see her get Gp 4 in the puppy group.

Junior D/B (2,1abs) 1, Dickson’s Chanikos Orange Dream Of Shenleyvale. Tall gold & white boy, nice head, dark eye, good bite, fair length of neck leading into a good lay of shoulder and corresponding upper arm. Good spring of rib and depth of chest. Moved and showed well.

Post Graduate D/B (3) 1. Carter & Leigh’s Gladmin Inala, Feminine Pale gold & white bitch, well balanced with a lovely outline, Dark eye and nice head, good shoulder placement and return of upper arm, nice spring of rib and depth of chest, good length of loin and well set tail carried highly, moved & showed well. RBOB

2. Iles’ Kadaz Chasing Dreams At Caljenta, Feminine gold & white bitch, Dark eye, nice shoulder and upper arm, fair spring of rib. Moved well.

3. Dickson’s Shenleyvale Dancin At Dawn.

Open D/B (3, 1abs) 1. Carter & Leigh’s Transkei Teddy JW. Masculine pale gold & white boy who never stopped showing, he was so sound on the move, showing full pads, he was a joy to watch, well balanced with a lovely shape. Nice head and dark eye good width of jaw. Good shoulder and upper arm, with a good spring of rib and depth of chest, nice length of loin, good tail set and carriage. I liked his substance and soundness. BOB and was pleased to see him get Gp 2 behind the eventual BIS winner.

2. Kadaz Chasing Rainbows At Caljenta, What a beautiful dark coloured gold coat this solid bitch has, Lovely shoulder and upper arm, good spring of rib and depth of chest, level topline, well set tail, sound on the move but not the style of 1. Brought back in for the challenge for RBOB but beaten on showmanship and movement by my PG winner.
