Thank you so much to TW&DCS committee for inviting me to judge at their lovely show. It was so nice to be outside, even if it was a bit chilly. Thank you to my excellent steward and thank you to all the exhibitors who brought their wonderful dogs for me. All exhibits had correct bite and temperaments were good. I was absolutely over the moon with the condition of these dogs, every one of them was so well muscled I think their owners must be very fit.

Class 86 Graduate (4/5)

1st 241 Doshaburi the Cloud Dragon at Hebemor, powerful liver male who looks more mature than his 11 months. Strong, masculine head with a gentle expression and lovely amber eye. Long, well-muscled neck flowing into well laid shoulders. Excellent front with a deep chest and well sprung ribs. Plenty of round bone down to superb feet, toes are well arched with very good pads. Fantastic topline which he held whilst on the move. Absolutely outstanding condition all through, with his hinds having well developed second thighs and a good turn of stifle. Tail set and carriage was also correct. Movement was powerful yet flowing, with excellent reach and drive, giving a beautiful side gait and then tracking up correctly fore and aft. A stunning boy who pushed hard in the challenge. RBOB, BPIB and delighted to see him go Puppy Group 3.

2nd 238 Boschendal Simply Red at Judally, another powerful boy, 22 months. Wonderful head and expression, uses his ears to full advantage. Beautifully marked with a rich liver pigment. Great front and good shoulders with well sprung ribs that are carried well back. Slightly less bone than the winner but still plenty. Nice, tight feet. Another who is well conditioned through and through with well muscled loin and hinds with good second thigh. Strong movement, he really did power around the ring. Preferred the topline of the first place dog.

Class 87 Open (3/7)

1st 240 Dalmark the White Witch at Hebemor, 2 year old liver bitch who just oozes class and elegance. Feminine head with the richest liver pigment and stunning amber eye. Her neck is long and light but strong flowing into well laid shoulders with well defined withers. Excellent front with the right amount of bone down into great cat feet with toughened pads. Deep chest with plenty of heart room, well sprung ribs carried well back. Terrific, level topline, both standing and on the move and clean, strong loin. She is in such hard condition all the way through. Hinds are extremely well muscled without any hint of coarseness. Good turn of stifle and very strong hocks. She floats around the ring with ease, with excellent reach and drive. She tracks up seamlessly fore and aft. Her movement is powerful yet rhythmic. Not a flashy girl but honest and graceful, a true carriage dog. BOB.

2nd Elabri Escada Sunset Heat by Judally, 3 year old liver male, a real character. A handsome boy with a lovely head and cheeky expression. Strong neck and good shoulders with well defined withers. Great bone and lovely, tight feet with well arched toes. Good front and deep chest with good ribs. Such a strong boy, another who is extremely fit. Good topline and tail set. Hinds have excellent rounded muscles with well developed second thigh. Nice turn of stifle and strong hocks. Excellent side gait however he was a bit overexcited today which threw him slightly off balance as he was moving away and back. I did love his outgoing temperament and I bet he’s great fun to live with.
