Firstly I would like to thank the committee and the officers of the club for the honour of judging at their show, a warm reception with wonderful hospitality, I had a great day with you all. Thanks must also go to the exhibitors for allowing me to go over their lovely dogs.



English Setters. P (2). 1, Cole’s Albadora Obi Wan Kenobi. 7 month old young man, good well defined oval head all in proportion with a lovely eye, substantial front for one so young, good deep chest, good top line to tail set, good rear angulation, moved straight and true and with drive pushing nicely off the hocks, in lovely condition. BPIB. 2. White’s Niddbeck Scarlet Lady at Paduan. J (1). 1, Gwilliam and Bozier’s Victoriaview Lily. Lovely young girl, good to type with a lovely expressionful face, nicely constructed front, good neck into pleasing lay of shoulder following onto a good topline, good rear angles, moved nicely on slippery ground, coat in good condition well presented. RBOB. O (2). 1, Cole’s Sorbus Storm Ryder JW. Substantial boy of really good proportions, strong front, deep well sprung chest, good head shape true to type, well-built through out to a well constructed muscled rear, coat in good condition, moved with a powerful gate giving a defined outline- straight with a good quality top line. BOB. 2. Gwilliam and Bozier’s Victoriaview Bluebell.


Irish Setters. P (3). 1, Savage’s Brabrook Masterpiece at Firefall. 11 month old dog of excellent proportions, with a good well defined head, good front construction to a good chest with plenty of well sprung rib, nice top line from shoulder to tail set, strong well muscled first and second thighs, coat in good condition, moved well. BPIB. 2, Corless’ Swiftlark Second Nature. J (4). 1, McDonald’s Delsanto Miss Freya. Lovely young girl, stacked giving a good outline, sweet face full of expression and all in the right proportions, good front with plenty of chest and deep rib, 1st and 2nd thigh nicely muscled, good top line from lay of shoulder to tail set, gorgeous chestnut colour to coat in really good condition, movement was a little better than 2nd although the ground conditions were not the best in the weather. 2, Sheldon’s Delsanto Miss Daisy. PG (7,2). 1, Harrison’s Anlory Dalmore. Substantial boy with admirable proportions giving an outline of quality, nice head shape with correct ear set, nice eye and very pleasing expression, neat front, good lay of shoulder through top line to correct tail set, strong 1st and 2nd thighs supporting good rear, coat condition good in spite of the wet conditions, moved with drive nice and straight and with purpose. RBOB 2, McDonalds Delsanto Miss Freya. O (5,1). 1, Waterton’s Sandstream Welcome Breeze JW. A lovely girl very to type that impressed as soon as she entered the ring, a sweet gentle expression, nice eye and overall head shape, lovely neck into good shoulder, excellent sloping top line which didn’t falter on the move, front of good proportion that support the angulation, good strong rear which helped her in the poor conditions to keep on the straight with drive, flowing with ease. BOB. 2, Savage’s Gwendariff the Ringmaster at Firefall.


Pointers. P (4). 1, Brooks’ Pennystone Shamrock. Lovely young girl and good to type, head of lovely shape with a well defined stop, good eye, good form to neck into really good lay of lengthy shoulder, straight front, plenty of rib in good sized chest – very good for one so young, nice tidy feet, rear very good through both 1st and 2nd thigh, very good movement covering plenty of ground, her reach on the move was picture perfect. BOB,BPIB. 2, Anthony’s Jilony Ola. J (1). 1, Brooks’ Pennystone Shamrock. As 1 above. O (7,1). Metcalf’s Darkridge Witchy Women. Mature girl very good outline on the stack, pleasing head of good proportions, nice deep well ribbed chest, good angulation to rear with high-quality 1st and 2nd thigh, movement was good  true and straight with plenty of drive. RBOB 2, Anthony’s Jilony Red Arrow JW.
