Bedford & District Canine Society

Siberian Huskies I would like to thank Bedford & District Canine Society’s committee for inviting me to judge Siberian Huskies. I thoroughly enjoyed my day. The ring was a good size and allowed plenty of room for the exhibitors to move their dogs, although the indoor riding school surface may not be to every dogs liking. Thank you to all exhibitors who supported me by entering their lovely dogs. I was extremely happy with quality of dogs I had to judge which meant it was very hard to choose between them.

P (3,1) 1 Bowering & Evans Penkhala’s Kaska 11 months old G/W bitch. Foxy head, brown oblique eyes, correct ear set & scissor bite. Excellent front, angulation front & rear, proportions & length of leg. Straight back, nicely angled croup and correctly set tail. On the move she was breath taking with elegant reach and drive. Looking forward to seeing her develop and reach her potential. BP, BOB. 2 Browns Deshka’s Cassiar Dyr For Polarcreek 7 month old silver G/W bitch. Another superb quality puppy. Foxy head, brown oblique eyes & scissor bite. Correct ear set but yet to grow in to her ears. Excellent forefront, angulation front & rear, proportions & length of leg. Straight back, nicely angled croup and correctly set tail. Lost out to 1 on the move. Although she had good reach and drive, she was not as smooth. Perhaps it was the texture on the indoor riding school which affected her movement on the day. Another girl I will be watching as she develops and matures. RBOB. J (2,0) 1 BOWERING & EVANS Penkhala’s Kaska. 2 BROWNS Deshka’s Cassiar Dyr For Polarcreek. PG (2, 2). O (2,2).
