I thoroughly enjoyed my day with the Japanese Chins down at Markfield judging The Special Awards Classes . My sincere thanks go to the Officers and Committee for the kindness and hospitality that was extended to me during my visit. My excellent Steward did a marvellous job and I would like to thank you the exhibitors for such a fabulous entry and for giving me the opportunity of judging your beautiful dogs and for taking my decisions in the manner in which it was given.

Special Award Junior (9,3)

1.Crane L Sleepyhollow Doris Of Cranvarl 10 month old black and white very pretty little bitch with super shape, dark eye, lovely reach of neck, good level topline , covered the ground well. Devoted to her handler today watching her every move.

2.Burns T Yama Take A Chance 10 months old black and white stylish young man, good level topline , handsome head, with nice eye, excellent coat and correct texture, moved well when not trying to get to his other playmate in the ring .

3.Goldie B Godheim Liberty Belle.

5.Allcock T Sleepyhollow Granville .

Special Award Post Graduate (8,1)

1.Allcock T Sleepyhollow Olaf 3 yr old black and white very handsome male , well coated and flowing in super condition, dark eye with perfect look of astonishment and good cushioning , shapely and cobby body with good width of chest with a high set tail , excellent on the move . He presents a lovely outline both standing and moving

2.Allock T Sleepyhollow La La Land 10 month old black and white bitch large eyes with look of astonishment, correct mouth, fine strong bone and good body for age, good level topline , moved out well. Less mature in body and coat due to age than 1.

Special Award Open (7,2)

1.Goldie B Goldheim Virginia 3 yr old black and white dainty girl beautifully balanced shown in both good silky coat and lovely muscle tone and this was reflected in her sound easy movement which won her the class. Most attractive head with a good eye and definite look of astonishment . Level topline and high set, well carried tail and lovely feathered harefoot .

2.Blow & Allen Wyndcatch Take It Easy 3 yr old male with masculine good sized nicely rounded skull, well placed nose open nostrils and fairly large ,expressive correct eyes ,nice finish to muzzle, well ribbed but just a fraction longer in loin than i would like. Decent topline and good tail set .Also had lovely harefoot with feathering.

3.Moss M Queenslake Billy Bongo Of Delphlands ShCM.

4.Whitehouse K Cheeckychins Esme Foe Denain.
