1st: HARDING Mr M J & Mrs A E Sh Ch Ir Ch Kingsmist Eternal Knight Sh.CM. What a great ambassador for the longevity of the breed. At 11 ½ he is just starting to show his age but still strides out holding a strong topline. Classic outline with a truly noble head, well chiselled and the kindest of eyes. Firm neck, well placed shoulderblade, excellent angulation front and rear and plenty of rib.

1st: WHEELER Mrs D Sonnetend Careless Whisper. 8 month dog full of boundless energy. Of good size and substance with bone to match. Balanced head with a well shaped eye and lowset ear. Clean neck and shoulder flowing smoothly into a strong topline. Correct flat bone and tight feet. Enjoyed himself moving round the ring, will settle to his trade with a bit more time and maturity

1st: ANDREWS, Mr A & BLADES Ms A Elgert Blackstar For Antdela. Standard sized black dog, masculine head with a lovely dark eye, defined stop and lowset ear. Clean neck and throat leading smoothly into well set shoulder. Correct flat bone with enough substance for his size. Still needs to mature through the body, shown in hard condition with muscled thighs. Move straight and true.

1st: TAYLOR Mr & Mrs H & S Elgert Take A Bow With Tayowen JW. Standing and moving this young dog certainly took my eye. Well balanced with plenty of bone and substance. He has the kindest of heads with good length, plenty of chiselling and a soft eye. He flows strongly through the neck and shoulder with good depth of rib under a strong topline. Broad, muscular thighs gave power to his movement which was straight and true. Delighted to award him the CC & BOB

1st: HOLGATE Mrs J & Mr C Sh Ch Nadavin Rothesey JW. Another beautifully made boy, his looks certainly belied his years and I was surprised to learn he was a veteran. Correctly balanced head with lean cheeks and a nice amount of stop and long lowset ears. Flowing outline with plenty of body under a strong topline. Excellent angulation front and rear giving the unhurried ground covering movement which is such a feature of the breed. RCC, Best Veteran

1st: MACBAIN, Miss A C L & SHEPHERD Mrs K J NL Ch Sh Ch Hardypups Cookie Monster Headed a lovely trio of girls all enjoying their day out. A real showgirl who just comes alive in the ring, beautifully presented, feminine head with broad nostrils, good stop and plenty of brainroom. Well set shoulders with good forechest, presented a strong outline with loads of depth and lovely quarters. Moved with style earning her the RCC. Not quite as firm in muscle as the dog when it came to deciding Best Veteran

2nd: HAYNES Mrs D H Risekar Rose Saffire at Sasgunn. What a beautiful girl, her grave, wisdom filled eyes set in a grey frosted head were so endearing. Correctly made throughout with good bone and deep ribs. Not the most powerful of movers but still moved true and if she lost her topline a touch I could forgive that in an 11 ½ year old. Just preferred her body to leg ratio over third

3rd: CRISP Mr & Mrs D J & J Rowambell Relaxation

1st: MCVITTY Ms M & M Sonnetend Faith 8 month bitch of good size with bone and substance. Pleasing feminine head with a nicely shaped cheeky eye. Laid back shoulder with good return of upperarm and strong flat bone. Deep in chest with a firm coupling. Once she settled moved out well with good rear propulsion.

1st: HOLGATE Mrs J & Mr C Nadavin Wenhaver. Very mature young lady of 11 months who excelled in body with fabulous depth and plenty of bone. Pleasing head of good proportions with a kind eye. Firm neck flowing smoothly into well set shoulder. Strong coupling and broad rear completed the picture. Strode out well off clean legs and tight feet. One to watch BP

2nd: MCVITTY Ms M & M Sonnetend Faith (repeat)

1st: BOWEN Mrs V Kingsmist Rose At Clandrift I am sure these two will change places many times, today I felt this girl had the edge in body and was more settled on the move. Very pretty head with a lovely eye, clean neck and shoulder, deep rib and broad thigh. Moved true.

2nd: HARDING Mr M J & Mrs A E Kingsmist Lady In Black. Preferred the amount of bone to first but not quite as mature at the moment and needs to settle on the move. Correct head with a dark well shaped eye, good length of neck and a lovely layback of shoulder, will be interested to see how she develops.

PGB (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: CROW Mr & Mrs R Elgert Lady Midnight. Young black bitch who won this class on her strong steady movement, straight and true every time. Standard size with correct amount of bone, sweet feminine head with a lovely dark eye. Balanced outline with good angulation fore and aft. Still needs to mature in body as expected in a slow maturing breed.

2nd: MACBAIN, Miss A C L & SHEPHERD Mrs K J Fecimus Flirting With Fire JW. And flirting she certainly was today, very much full of life and enthusiasm but I did see enough driving movement for her to win her place. Liked her bone and substance and strong outline, deep through the rib with excellent width of thigh. Held a firm topline standing and moving.

3rd: NEWMAN Mr & Mrs R & J Laurel Des Haise De La Conchee At Richillian (Imp)

1st: SPENCE Mrs R & Miss L Sonnetend Dot To Dot To Cabharan Sh.CM. Headed a strong class with differing levels of maturity and finish. She has the most melting expression with lovely chiselling and balanced head planes. Strong neck, plenty of forechest and deep rib. Firm topline leading to a good coupling and broad stifles. Lovely flat bone and tight feet, she strode out well showing correct movement. Pushed hard for top honours

2nd: BENNETT Mr D A & Mrs J Nadavin Ursella with Jesham. Presented an excellent balanced outline. Classic head with good chiselling, broad nostrils and lowset ear. Smooth flowing topline leading to well muscled rear. Plenty or rib and lovely flat bone. Moved with power and strength.

3rd: BEBB, Mesdames W & SUTTON K Cochen Calypso

1st: BEBB, Mesdames W & SUTTON K Sonnetend Gentle Touch Cochen. Black bitch just loved her shape and substance, shown in fabulous coat and condition, just the right side of being too heavy. Gentle expression with a dark eye, good chiselling and brow and plenty of backskull. Well set shoulder with good return of upperarm, strong flat bone and tight feet. Deep in rib under a good topline with wide muscled thighs. Effervescent mover with plenty of drive. Well deserve CC

2nd: HOLGATE Mrs J & Mr C Sh Ch Nadavin Thistledown JW Well made liver with a classic head of balanced proportions. Strong neck leading to firm topline, deep in rib with good flat bone and strong coupling. Broad rump gave true rear action, her more settled movement gave her the edge over third.

3rd: TAYLOR Mr & Mrs H & S Sh Ch Tayowen Touch Of Elegance
