Breed: Boston Terrier

PD – 2 (0) 1st. Hamlin’s Rosparquier Small Talk for Devotoblaze, nine-month-old brindle with a balanced head, well set ears and dark eye. Good shoulder placement and straight front into tight feet. Well balanced with pleasing rear angulation. Good front movement, moving a tad close behind on the day however, we were on uneven ground. Handled well. RBD and BP. 2nd. Jones and Lovelock’s Dalenamag Jedi Star Fighter, lighter type than my class winner, he is beautifully marked and has a nice head and eye, not using his ears today to finish his overall expression. Slightly longer set but still balanced. Moved OK.

JD – 2 (0) 1st. Scipio and Lightfoot’s Taravon Shooting Star, beautifully marked with a nicely proportioned head, dark eyes and small, well-set ears which he used well. Slightly arched neck of moderate length leading into well placed shoulders, a level top-line and correctly set tail. He was a picture of balance and moved well. BD. 2nd. Heather’s Jzan Zephaniah, masculine head with a dark eye, preferred front assembly, neck and top-line of my winner. Moved OK.

PGD – 2 (0) 1st. Scipio and Lightfoot’s Taravon State Trouper, nice type with a balanced head, dark eye and overall expression. Lovely front with strong pasterns, short in body with a level topline, moderate angulation behind. He was quite timid and not moving well on the grass on the day. 2nd. Sambrook’s Talkaccutur Hurrit, nice head and eye, a little longer in body than my class winner. Not moving well in this ring on the day.

PB – 3 (1) 1st. Jones and Lovelock’s Dalenamag Queen of the Nile, lovely head with a dark eye and a feminine expression, used her ears well and is nicely marked. She has good front and rear angulation and a level topline, moved well, just needs some time to settle. 2nd. Jackson’s Mallbarton Tainted Love, a much finer boned baby and different in type to my winner. Nice head and sweet expression, needs time to mature and settle on the move.

JB – 3 (1) 1st. Cave’s Wildax Jemcap Jemima, exquisite head, dark eye and small neat ears, correctly set and used. Lovely arched neck in to well-placed shoulders and clean front with strong pasterns and tight feet. Level topline and correctly set tail, moved well particularly in profile. RBB 2nd. Snell’s Talkaccatur Inola, finer boned than my class winner although a lovely type. Head was ok with a feminine expression. Compact and balanced, moved well.

PGB – 3 (0) 1st. Scipio and Lightfoot’s Taravon Sassy Lassie Sh. CM, nicely balanced head with dark eyes and well-set ears. Nice shoulder placement, straight front and level topline. Compact body and nicely angulated rear quarters. Moved ok. 2nd. McGowan, Young and Gagin’s Mysterious Girl de Sanibel Island (Imp), Lovely head but I would prefer her eyes a shade darker to complete her overall expression. Nice front and rear angulation, compact body, balanced and pleased in profile. Moved well. 3rd. Smith, Connor and Sorrell’s Conchur Keela
