Pomeranian Club
The Pomeranian Club Open Show 23rd October 2016
I would like to thank the committee for the invitation to judge the club breed show. I had a super day and would like to thank the exhibitors for letting me go over their super dogs, and accepting my decisions. Thank you also to my steward David Lightfoot-Hulme for keeping things running so smoothly.
MPD (5,2)
1st:Hull-Greaves’, Gillipom Dances With Wolves, 6 month old o/s dog. Flat skull and good head shape which will improve with age. Correct foxy expression, with a medium dark eye and clean bite. A small compact body, well ribbed with good tail set. Lots of character! As most puppies need to settle on the move.
2nd: Terry’s, Norvanik Love you Long Time. 6 month o/s dog. Typical head good in shape with correct giving a sweet expression. A good bite. Ear slightly lower set. Good firm body with straight front legs and neat feet. A little longer in back than 1. Good tail set and stood well.
PD (4,1)
1st:Chilton’s, Beckandfern Mr Perfect, 10 month o/s dog. The sweetest of heads with small dark eyes, clean bite and small well placed ears which are used well. Good firm body, short and compact. High tail set and a lovely off standing coat. Moved well coming and going but need to strengthen behind. Overall a very pleasing shape. BPD & BPIS
2nd: Pickering’s, Leahcartoys Milktray, 11 month old Orange dog. Good head with rounder shape to eye. Small ears well set. Good solid body, slightly longer cast covered with clear orange coat of good texture. Moved a little close behind.
JD (7,4)
1st: Charalambous’s, Bo Tyche Magic, 11 month old Black dog with a nice head, dark medium eye and medium ears set well. Clean mouth. Bigger frame to this dog with a big coat of good texture. Tail set and carried well with a large plume. Moved well, although a little wide in front, he has a strong behind.
2nd: Cawthera-Purdy’s, Lireva’s Keeping the Dream Alive, 9 month old o/s. Sweet head and expression, small dark eyes, ears small and well set. Nicely boned, legs fine and straight, carrying a good body covered in a rich, well textured coat. His movement let him down today, with a tendency to lean on the lead throwing his movement off.
ND (3,1)
1st:Dunne’s, Vaders Phantom Fairy, 13 month old clear orange. Good head with foxy expression. Dark eye and clean mouth. High set ears used well. Well sprung body, high tail set with super plume. Fine boned legs straight in front, but lacking a little angulation behind. Good coat with correct texture.
2nd: Cawthera-Purdy’s Lireva’s Keeping The Dream Alive
PGD (3,1)
1st: Thornton’s, Gillipom Pure Faith At Vaders, 2 Year Old Orange. Good head, nice expression, dark eyes, a little round. Good mouth. Small ears, hidden well by a big ruff. A short cobby body, well sprung rib, high set tail with a huge plume. Holds a good shape. Straight legs front and back, stands four square. True movement. BD &RBIS.
2nd: Walkey’s, Bonniebears Jack in The Box, 2 Year old Black boy. Good clean head, dark eye a little round in shape. Good bite. Small ears hidden well in ruff. A good body to go over with high tail set and super plume. Big coat of good texture. Movement a bit resistant today, moving wide behind.
LD (2,0)
1st: Pickering’s, Leahcartoys Lord Fred, 3 year old clear orange. Mature head, shorter muzzle, clean mouth. Dark eye slightly round. Small ears, high set. Super head coat and ruff finishing the picture. A short compact body, well sprung rib. Good tail set with large plume carried well. Lovely harsh coat giving a good overall shape. Clean mover.
2nd: Dunne’s, Lireva’s Circus Clown At Charosmack. 2 ½ year Orange boy. Sweet face and clean head. Moderate ears set well. Nice body slightly longer cast. Good coat, correct texture. Needs to strengthen back end, and has a tendency to drop his tail.
OD (2,1)
1st: Cawthera-Purdy’s, Belliver Surely Not Black At Lireva (Imp). 3 year old black. Correct head, dark eye with small ears set well. Plainer head losing sweetness of expression. Mature body, short and well ribbed. Good width of chest and straight front. Has a tendency to stand under himself behind. Good harsh coat and plenty of it. Moved very well. RBD.

1st: Walkey’s, Bonniebears Dimples. 6month Orange girl. Small in size. Good head shape, dark eyes and medium ears set well. Good body and tail set. Fine boned, movement erratic as a little spooked by noises. Just a baby, I’m sure will strengthen with time.

1st: Cawthera-Purdy’s, Lireva’s Future Dreams, 10 month Orange girl. Lovely head, sweet expression, small dark almond eyes, clean mouth. Small well set ears. Good front and width of chest. Well ribbed body and high tail set. Super coat of good texture. Needs to strengthen behind to be able to cope with her exuberance. BPB & RBPIS
2nd: Charalambouse’s, Bella Snowstorm, 11 month Cream bitch. Good head shape, although lacking a little stop. Good pigment, dark eyes, medium ears well set. Clean mouth. Good straight front. Nice body, a little long in loin. Good tail set. Coat coming in nicely and of good texture. Moves a little wide behind and will benefit from more confidence.
JB: (4,3)
1st: Thomas’s, Magikala’s A Touch of Class, 15 month s/sable. Broad skull to a finer dark muzzle, clean mouth. Eyes dark, slightly round. Wide based, good sized ears, set well. Straight front with good width of chest. Short compact body, tail high set and carried well. Good coat and plume. Moved well.

1st: Cawthera-Purdy’s, Lireva’s Future Dreams
UGB:
1st: Killick’s, Klassna Call Me A Star Of Travillion, 22 month o/s. This bright little bitch takes your eye immediately. The sweetest of faces with a clean head. Good stop, dark small eyes, clean mouth, small ears set and used well. A nice length of neck set well onto well laid shoulders. Good width of chest, straight front with neat feet. Good substance and well ribbed body, high tail set and good plume. Moved well, buoyant and briskly. BB & BIS
2nd:Dixon-Hardwick’s, Altina’s Maid in Essex AT Aacharmoe, 14th month cream. Lovely head, good stop, small dark eye. Good pigmentation, clean mouth. Moderately short in muzzle giving a sweet expression. Small ears, well set. Good straight front of good width. Mature body of good shape. High tail set. Coat full and glamorous. Moved straight coming and going. Nice quality bitch. RBB

1st: Terry’s, Rayemil Miss Demeanor, 2 year old black, in full glorious coat. Makes a lovely shape standing. She has a good shaped head with small dark eyes, giving a sweet expression. Small well set ears. A mature body with well sprung rib, short and compact. Good tail set with full plume to finish the picture. Fine boned legs and neat feet. Well muscled on rear, which is why I expected a much stronger, brisker movement. She was just lacking that buoyant, light, show off attitude.

1st: Killick’s, Travillions Hello Dolly. 1 ½ year old Black girl. Nice size and well coated. A good clean head with a sweet face. Body short and compact maturing nicely. Good tail set. Has a tendency to move wide in front.
2nd: Thomas’s, Bowlou Foggy Daze, 3 Year old Orange bitch. Nice head, shorter in muzzle, small ears. Mature compact body with a thick stand off coat. Tail set well. Moved wide in front and could move more fluently.
OB: (4,2)
1st: Cawthera-Purdy’s, Lireva’s Teddy Bear’s Picnic. 3 year Orange. Pretty girl but left her best dress at home. She has a clean head with dark eyes and sweet expression. Ears small but rather exposed today. Good body and tail set. Moved well.

1st: Killick’s, Ch. Renoir Beautiful Brad Of Travillion (Imp) 6 ½ year old O/s. This lad carries a good coat, harsh and stand offish. His head is of correct shape with super small almond dark eyes. Small ears set well. Greying slightly round the muzzle, as a distinguished gentleman can. Short compact body, plume carried high. Moves fluently trying to please his mum.
