Open D/B (4, 2abs)

1. Lucas & Dargonne’s Packway Commanche Moon, well balanced male, nice head and dark eye, good shoulder and upper arm, good front & rear angulation, good depth of chest and spring of rib. Moved well. BOB

2. Lucas & Dargonne’s Hyndsight Reason To Believe TAF, Dark very feminine bitch, Nice head and dark eye, lovely shape, well balance front and rear, free moving, but not as settled coming and going at the moment as the winner. RBOB

Greyhounds

1. Boggia’s Whirlaway Boughton Big Bang, Well balanced and feminine Dark Brindle Party colour bitch, Good Head, eye and ear placement, good length on neck leading into a well laid shoulder, good length of upper arm, good depth of chest and spring of rib, in excellent condition, lovely free movement. BOB, Hound group G3.

2. Bartlett’s Romgrey Sea Horse With Ransley (Imp Fin) Brindle and Party colour Dog, nice shape and a lot to like about him, a young dog , not giving his best today and giving his handler a hard time.

1. Boggia’s Fionn Clann Isolde Boughton Lovely feminine Dark brindle Bitch, very elegant with a lovely outline, Finer than M BOB winner, but a lovely type with free movement. RBOB

2. Ridley’s Ransley Simply A Delight Red fawn bitch, heavier in type than 1, Good depth of chest and spring of rib.

Pharaoh Hounds

1. Thomas’ Annatefkan Thema, well balanced and feminine red bitch, nice head, eye and ear placement, correct bite, good length of neck, well placed shoulder, good depth of chest and spring of rib, nice length of loin. Good overall outline moved and showed well. BOB and pulled out in the Hound group.

2. Thomas’ Serenaker Cierzo At Rubasu Smaller dark red bitch, very feminine, nice head and eye, shorter in back that 1, Good front and rear angulation.

1. Thomas’ Annatefkan Thoth At Rubasu Masculine Dark Red boy, full of himself today, Nice overall picture, nice head, eye and ear placement, Good depth of chest and spring of rib, lost out to his sister in the challenge on movement and I preferred her outline. RBOB

1. Sawer’s Fernlarks Daw Me Another with Bumpkiss Cream Party Colour Male, nice head and eye, good length to ear leathers, nice layback of shoulder and length of upper arm, good depth of chest and spring of rib, short firm loin, nice tail set, lovely sound and free moving dog, showed himself really well. BOB

2. Buckley’s Hisilhome’s Lamorak (ImpSwe) Cream Dog, smaller and lighter build to 1, nice shape, nice head and eye, just need time to mature.

Post Graduate D/B (1)

1. Sawer’s Fernlarks Bottoms Up At Bumpkiss, Black Fringed Red boy, a lot to like about him, well balanced, nice head, eye and good length to ear leathers, good body and muscle tone, Good shoulder placement and return of upper arm, balanced front and rear angulation. Not giving his best today on the move.

Jowitt’s Canapus Mistral Under Barleymoon (ImpNDL) Black Fringed Fawn bitch, very feminine, nice head, dark eye, goof ear placement, Balanced front and rear angulation, good depth of chest and spring of rib, good top line although her shading on her withers and back does not help to see this, it is only when you get your hands on you can see it is actually level. Moved with style and grace, RBOB

2. Buckley’s Hisilhome’s Kareef, Masculine cream shorter coupled than 1.and heavier in bone, nice head, dark eye, Good spring of rib and depth of chest, a lot to like about him, not giving his best today.

Shih Tzu

My first UK judging appointment other than the special classes at the Shih Tzu Club show, my thanks to all who entered and allowed me the honour of judging their dogs.

Junior D/B (6, 1 abs)

1. Goodwin’s Chelhama Business Class, Beautifully balanced brindle and White boy, loved his shape standing and on the move, Nice head and eye, correct bite with a lovely wide jaw and good dentition, good length of nose and wide open nostrils, good length of neck and shoulder placement, Good spring of rib and depth of chest, nice length of loin, good bone and substance, good tail set and carriage, moved with extension and drive. BP, BOB, great to see him placed in Utility group in 4th place and in the Utility Puppy Group 3rd place.

2. Silsbury’s Jadoremy Thunderbolt Zuse Compact Gold & White boy, Round eyes, correct bite, nice wide jaw and good dentition, Good front & upper arm, good depth of chest and spring of rib, nice substance to this boy, moved with extension and drive, a lot to like about this boy, just would like a slightly higher tail carriage.

3. Bilson’s Shanjora’s Calisto Boy.

Postgraduate D/B (2)

1. Goodwin’s Chelhama Perfect Timing Brindle and white boy, smaller in type but very well made, Sweet expression, correct bite, nice round eyes, and nice shaped head, balanced in outline, level top line, good tail set and carriage, moved well.

2. Silsbury’s Jadoremy Dashing hero, Masculine Black & White boy, nice bite and nose placement, good length of neck, level top line, and side movement looked good, but would like a bit more width to him. Enjoyed his day.

1. Swift’s Jimsamroblee’s Mr Muscles, A good honest dog, masculine, mature and well balanced, nice head, eye and correct bite, good outline, level top line, Good depth of chest and spring of rib, moved well, showing full pads behind, lost out to the BOB on head carriage and forward extension, but a lot to like about him. RBOB.

2. Silsbury’s Jadoremy Thunderbolt Zuse (2. in Junior)

My first appointment to judge this lovely breed, thank you to the exhibitors who gave me the honour of going over their dogs.

Reeves-Sargent & Diment’s Vouges Roiyaru Kotogara (ImpSwe) Stood alone in this class, but what a lovely boy, well balanced, black and white, lovely outline, nice head, dark eye, good length of neck and shoulder placement, good depth of chest and sprig of rib, level top line and good tail set and carriage, moved beautifully. BOB

Postgraduate D/B (2)

1. Benton-Taylor’s Sansarc Livia Drusilla, Well balance Black & White bitch, very feminine, nice head dark eye, good bite, nice length of neck, good front and rear angulation, good depth and spring of rib, good tail set and carriage, moved well. RBOB

2. Day’s Godheim Imperial Emperor At Dorcharday, Black & White male, nice head and dark eye, good ear placement, enjoyed his day and showed well for his handler.

1. Benton-Taylor’s Sansarc Ashes To Ashes, well balanced Black & White Male, Nice head, correct bite, well set ears, good depth of chest and spring of rib, level top line, good tail set and carriage, moved and showed well.

2. Reeves-Sargent & Diment Ch Alstella Dream maker Of Coshaco, Well coated 7 year old black & white boy, really enjoyed his day out, nice head, and ear set, dark eye, good bite, good front and rear angulation, a lovely overall picture, moved and showed well.

3. Day’s Jalindri Odoroki Kaito At Dorcharday.
