Leominster Canine Society 19th April 2015  Open Show

Firstly I would like to thank the committee for their hospitality and the kind invitation to judge at the show.

Thank you to the exhibitors for giving me the opportunity to go over their lovely dogs and for taking my decisions in a sporting manner.

Shih Tzu

1st Maule’s Daltricia Wilbur Smith. 10.5 month old promising male. Typical head with good dark eye and excellent pigment. Good angles front and rear, well laid back shoulder. Smooth flowing on the move with strong rear and powerful action. Good for size, well coated and presented. RBOB BPIB and PG1.

2nd Mitchell’s Mykabel Mirrors

1st Maule’s Ch. Daltricia Kratos. Black dog of seven years-old. Put down in excellent condition, well coated and presented. Correct dark eye and black pigment. Covered the ground well with strong action. Good tail, heavily plumed and carried well. Good overall proportions, excellent angles front and rear. BOB & UG4.

1st Jones’ Belazieth Hello Miss Marple at Tarendes. Black bitch of 11 months. Well coated and presented. Good overall proportions with straight forelegs into well laid shoulder. Well angled rear. Covered the ground freely. Sweet expression, good eye, well feathered ears and good furnishings all over. BPIB and PG2.

1st Watts-Catley’s Chanceinns on the Money for Zanamop. Stood alone. Substantial 15 month old male. Nicely presented in good coat. Correct head with dark eye. Lacked a bit of drive on the move.

1st Jones’ Tarendes Luv that Bear. Moved out with purpose and drive. Good head with dark oval eye and black pigment. Good overall proportions and excellent angles front and rear. Well feathered ears and presented in good coat and condition. RBOB

1st Guziolek’s Karamain Varyag Finn at Boshanti (IMP FIN). Substantial 10 month-old male. Paced a little on the move, but once corrected moved out well with good reach and drive. Presented in good condition with coat coming in. BOB & BPIB

1st Parr’s Canparr Hi Class Lady. White Toy Poodle. Good overall proportions, with good angulation front and rear. A little apprehensive on the table, but moved out well once settled.

1st Smee & Coleman’s Odivane Maid For Fun With Schnaubern. Schnauzer. A smart, well balanced dog, that was stood ‘just right’ anytime I looked over. Good head with strong muzzle, good eye and neat ears. Good overall proportions. Balanced and powerful on the move, maintaining a level topline. Presented in firm condition and handled to advantage. 1st Carter’s Labweiler Real Opal for Vowchurch. Lhasa Apso. Overall good proportions. Moved out well, covering the ground purpose.

1st Williams’ Spellcast Talk To Da Paw at Trebettyn ShCM (German Spitz Mittel). Substantial black male, with masculine wedge head of good proportions. Correct eye, and neat well-set ears. Presented in excellent condition, with full coat of correct texture. Moved out with reach and drive. At one with his handler, a great team.
