GSP. J. (1) 1. Burford’s Kavacanne Morgan You Know. 7 mths l/w. A nice puppy indeed. Masculine head, lovely raised brow, good lip. Plenty of width, excellent forechest and good, sinewy bone. Has depth but yet to fill in behind elbows, well ribbed up, strong, wide quarters and good tailset. Moves well. BPIB. PG. (3, 1 abs) 1. Burford’s Pingarypoint Hot Topic. BOB. Square finish to muzzle, wide nostrils, firm, short back, level topline. Stood over more ground and had better spring of rib than 2. Whitehouse’s Kazanpaul Crème De La Creme

Irish R&W Setters. J. (4, 1 abs) 1. Hart’s Gilliegrae Swift N’Chic. Nicely marked youngster with good strong neck, level topline, well laid shoulders and return of upper arm. She won this class on her movement and tail carriage. 2. Lamb’s Casafelice Plezzana. I preferred the athleticism of this dog but he was not moving as well as the winner. 3. Taylor’s Laoirebay Midnight Drifter BPIB.

PG. (1) Hart’s Redmore Diamond Geezer Mit Gilliegrae. This dog has the best of heads; it is typically R&W, broad, domed skull, good stop and no occipital protuberance. He is athletic in appearance with good width to his chest and strong, sinewy bone. He has good angulation with wide quarters and a level topline. Moves ok but a bit ‘wristy’. O. (5, 1 abs) An excellent class with very close decisions. The first 2 both have fabulous and typical R&W heads with well set ears, soft expressions and no occiput. Both are athletic in build with deep chests and well sprung ribs. In the end I preferred the feet and muscle tone of the winner. 1. Horrocks’ Spiralwood Secret Love for Itchenwych. BOB. 2. Lamb’s Sh Ch Ir Sh Ch Casafelice Montadale JW 3. Ward’s Sh Ch Ballakinnish Mischief Making Copperwhite JW

Italian Spinoni PG (2) 1.Bullivant’s Payguns Peppamynt Creame o/w bitch with square outline, roof like head, kind eye, plenty of forechest and depth and correct feet front and back. Harsh coat but some judicial stripping would not go amiss. 2. Bullivant’s Payguns Sage and Thyme. O. (, 1 abs) 1. Roberts’ Hastabbi Kir Royale. Quality dog beautifully presented. Robust in appearance with square outline, strong bone and the lovely, soft human expression that is so Spinoni. Fabulous head with divergent planes and lean, oval skull. Super depth and spring of rib, strong loin, correct topline with break and dewlap present. Covers the ground on a pounding trot with excellent tail carriage. BOB. 2. Bullivant’s Payguns Cinnammon Star

Curly Coated Retrievers J. (2) Two very good types and a close decision between them. Both have good length to height ratio and typical heads. Whilst I felt 2 had the better coat the winner clinched it on width of chest and stifle. 1. Hodson’s Gamesmere Ginger Snap. 2. Mahon’s Curlabull’s One and Only. BPIB and Puppy Group 2. PG (2, 1 abs) 1. Mahon and Angels’s Curlabull New York Jet. Super type, strong and upstanding with the required air of elegance. Commands attention, has a great head, strong front, great depth and strong loin. Moves well. O. (4, 1 abs) 1. May’s Kagemush Tokyo Joe Jw ShCM. Well known dog with a fabulous black, crisp coat. He is all male with great presence, front legs set well under body, excellent spring of rib and strong, muscular quarters. He is a good size, has short, strong hocks, excellent tail set and carriage and moves well. BOB. 2. Stubbs’ Kireton Flourish at Densdale 3. Copley’s Tessmene Catch Your Dreams with Hamcar
