SPECIAL AWARDS CLASSES

Junior

(1) Rutherford’s CARISCO MY LEADING LADY. At 10 months old, this bitch is very mature for her age. Short-backed with level topline, a deep chest and good proportions and substance. Powerful shoulders and rear, which were reflected in clean and balanced movement. Well-muscled and in good coat. Congratulations on her well-deserved Best in Show win.

(2) Beckton’s GLENGRACIE GALILEO. A 9-month old dog with plenty of attitude. Well-constructed head with good proportions and planes and a nice ear set. Moved well and in good coat with correct depth and texture. Good shoulder and rear angles, but his body is not as mature as the class winner.

Limit

(1) Kirk’s WHITWITCH TWIGGLET. This 3-year old bitch immediately caught my eye as being true to type and feminine without sacrificing substance. Lovely long, refined head with good planes and ear set and a dark eye. Body low to the ground with correct depth and proportions. Excellent front assembly, powerful rear and moved well. Also in good coat and condition.

(2) Hill’s POLWICKS BLACK TOURMALINE OF TAHGMOR. 9 year-old dog with a solid, deep-chested body. Has a wide rear with good bend of stifle. Gait was level although he displayed some typical Scottie stubbornness on the move. Would have liked to have seen him in better coat and condition.
