Breed: Alaskan Malamute

Alaskan Malamutes

Thank you to the committee for this CC appointment. I would like to thank my stewards, who kept the ring running with proficiency. I would also like to extend thanks to the exhibitors for their entries and I did feel that my decisions were accepted with good grace, which made for a pleasant atmosphere. I was very pleased to observe a marked increase in the general athleticism of the exhibits since my last appointment. As a working breed, the dogs should not carry any excess weight and should be well muscled, it could be down to the time of year, being mid winter training, but I was pleased to note this. My concerns and areas that breeders need to watch for were; front construction & front movement and bites.
