BEAGLES

Special Yearling (3,0)

1 – Caple’s Tregoniggie Colour of Magic at Morsefield – 10 month open tri bitch. Pretty feminine head, good length of neck into good shoulders. Well sprung ribs with nice depth of chest. Correct stern carriage and really nice hind angulation, good turn of stifle into correct and parallel hocks. Well balanced bitch who showed her socks off all day, well deserved BOB and BPIB

2 – Bell & Baker’s Jarrowley Dreyfus for Alfadais – 7 month T/W dog, very raw puppy but a serious challenger in this class. Very sweet head with appealing expression. Good length of neck into well laid back shoulders. Nice depth of chest, well sprung ribs and good coupling. Nice hind angulation and moved out well. Just felt a bit too immature for the RBOB

3 – Winney’s Jimjen Just William

Post Graduate (3,0)

1 – Caple’s Tregoniggie Colour of Magic at Morsefield

2 – Carmichael’s Kernebridge Bombarder – Nice open tri dog of larger frame. Well-proportioned and has matured into a pleasing young hound. Moved out well and was true fore and aft. Nice masculine head without being harsh or too heavy. Good length of neck into well placed shoulders. Good stern carriage and maintained his top line on the move. Good muscle tone and moved with reach and drive in the challenge to take RBOB

3 – Bell & Baker’s Harropine Showtime at Alfradais

Open (3,0)

1 – Winney’s Jimjen George Gently – Smaller framed hound but with everything in proportion. Pleasing head into slightly high set shoulders. Good top line maintained on the move with great tone and muscle over the loin. Short coupled with correct stern. In great hard condition, true fore and aft. Moved out well with reach and drive but lost his motivation which cost him in the challenge.

2 – Carmichael’s Cliffmere Nimble at Kernebridge – Very pretty and feminine bitch with a beautiful expression. Correct set leathers and head completely free from wrinkle. Good length of neck into good shoulders. Good top line and correct stern carriage. She moved out well and true fore and aft. Carrying a little more weight than I would have liked on the day.

3 – Simm’s Ardvreck Eaton Ezhar
