1st Thomas’s DARAYDALA LORENZO. Black, 9 months old. Good head and expression with slightly wide set ears. Correct neck into well placed shoulder with slightly stretched proportions into correct hindquarters. Powerful mover with happy disposition. Well coated and presented.

Junior – Dog Entries: 3 Absentees: 1

1st Hearson’s NIXTEV URAXYS AT JUMASUE. White, 12 month old with masculine head of good proportions. Excellent construction overall, very good coat and presentation, however lacked ring presence and had a slight tendency to pace.

2nd Taylor’s ZEPHON STORMCHASING. Sable, 14 months old, well up to size. Shown at that ‘in between’ stage. Spirited movement and good temperament, would like to see when matured. Preferred head of one. Well handled.

Post Graduate – Dog Entries: 7 Absentees: 2

1st Wilson’s NICKILA SILVER SOVEREIGN. Sable dog, 3.5 yrs. Good head proportions with correct eye and good ears. Moved out well, though a tad close coming and going. Stood out in this class. Nicely presented in good coat.

1st Pooley’s WYNDLEE SHORT N' SWEET AT AZKABAN. Black with white, 5yrs old. Good head and expression, and showed true spitz character. Moved out well with purpose, true to and fro. Well coated and presented. Well handled.

2nd Williams & Garbutt’s NIXTEV TORVALD TAF. White, 2.5yrs. A quality dog with lots to like, excellent head and proportions, though stood slightly long. Moved with excellent reach and drive, however dropped head towards causing him to move wide today.

3rd Clayton’s STUDHOLME KISS OF OZZY

A wonderful class to judge, full of quality.

1st Hewett’s CH SPELLCAST SECRETS AND LIES JW. Cream, 6yr old. Presented in fabulous coat and condition. Covered the ground well. True coming and going. Strong masculine head of good proportions, with correct eye and ear. Superb quality and well handled. DCC & BOB. Looked a picture in the group ring, thrilled to see him make the shortlist.

2nd Jones’ FLAMUNA REVELATIONS AT RUNESTONE SHCM. Sable, 3.5yrs old. Well handled and presented in good coat. Moved out well. Good head proportions, with correct eye and ear, though preferred the head of one.

3rd Wright & Andrews CLARAN NARADA

Puppy – Bitch Entries: 4 Absentees: 1

1st Chambers’ MUSIQUE CHARISMATIC. Brown, 7 month old. Good head and expression, and good bone throughout. Coat just coming in, lovely rich colour and correct texture. Well schooled, needs to firm in movement.

2nd Mountain’s MUSIQUE HOT TO TROT AT HOCOMBEWOOD. Brown 7 month old. Litter sister to one. Well coated and presented, with good head and expression. Preferred body proportions of one. Also needs to firm in movement.

3rd Thomas’ DARAYDALA LOLA

1st Hewett, King & Mann’s SPELLCAST TALKING ABOUT ME. Black, 13 months old. Moved well with purpose, good to and fro. Correct head, with good eye and ear. Could be more settled on the table. Lacking coat, but what she did have was of correct texture.

2nd Thurston’s NIXTEV ULANZA. White, 13 months old. Quality bitch, with lovely head of good proportions, shown in good coat. Good overall proportions, though difficult to assess on the move today.

3rd Saich’s ZEPHON THE THUNDERSTORM AT LINDCOLY

1st Pooley’s SPELLCAST TALKING SECRETS WITH AZKABAN. Black. 3yrs old. Stood alone in this class. Unfortunately out of coat, but well presented none the less. Correct head, with good eye and ears. Slightly stretched in overall proportions. Moved out well.

1st King’s SPELLCAST TALK TO DA TAIL. Cream, 2.5yrs old. Quality bitch of excellent proportions throughout with good bone. Stood four square. Exquisite feminine head of correct proportions with neat, well set ears, correct eye and sweet expression. Happy, buoyant outlook. Very correct away and back, excellent sidegait, best mover today, didn’t have as much coat as the dog for best of breed. Well presented and well handled. BCC

2nd Clewer’s SPELLCAST TELL A TAIL AT BULLBO. Black, 2.5yrs old. Shown in full coat and good condition. Good head and expression. Good sidegait. Slightly stretched proportions. Preferred head of one.

1st Francis, Pearce & Garbutt’s. Cream 2.5yrs old. CH NIXTEV SELENIA WITH LONGSDALE. Immaculately presented in full coat and condition. Correct overall proportions, and excellent showmanship. To be picky would prefer slightly stronger wedge to head. Moved out well with purpose and drive. Lost out to CC winner on front movement today. RCC
